My friend was visiting from India and wanted to see animals so I thought this place offers this and is a bit of fun to. There are a good mix of small animals, some we had not encountered before. We saw the penguins being fed and there is s lot for children to do, getting their books stamped when they have seen certain things and lots of information for them to absorb. Then there is the rides, my friend likes Kitty so was so delighted that there is a Kitty section. We had a good laugh on the rides and enjoyed the little train ride, getting lost in the maze and eating ice cream. A good day out.

Great day out with a young family. A lot to do for my 3 year old, with the animals in the zoo part, rides designed for young kids and also a massive play park. Thoroughly recommend

I visited with my toddler, who had a fun day. The park has a few of rides that are good for all ages. Hello Kitty car rides was his favourite.

The zoo is not very big but is well maintained. There a lot of monkeys of different sizes.

I would recommend you visit explorer cafe for their cold tea/ coffee. They have lots of options.

Amazon play area is indoor soft play area in case weather turns bad.

On the big inflatable slide the staff were very friendly. When my toddler who got cold feet once up the slide, was helped by the young men attending the slide.

Overall worth a visit and good value for money for children from two to ten year old.

The beautiful place for the entire family. First time to visit Drusillas Park and it’s well the commended. We get to see the animals the likes of ant eater , porcupine, raccoon that we don’t normally see in the zoo that we’ve been to that’s why we enjoyed it plus my daughter get to play at Hello Kitty’s secret garden it’s Instagram worthy photos because of the lovely topiary, hello kitty tea cup ride and train and the best part we get to see Hello Kitty and have a photo with her we truly enjoyed it.Massive play area and splash area so make sure you bring swimming gear for the young ones or even mum and dad can join in.you can bring ur own food so you can have a lovely picnic as a family. Absolutely a good place to go to for a family day out.

A very long time since I had visited Drusillas and I went yesterday with daughter and grandchildren. We had a brilliant day there is so much to do and see. The zoo was great with a variety of interesting animals. Although there was a lot of people we didnt have to wait long for rides and it didnt feel crowded. Will be going back soon.

Had my first visit to Drusillas today and had a fabulous time. The zoo is excellent and, especially with the new Go Safari open, there are loads of rides too. A full day of fun for the kids.

A great zoo! at first from the advertisements it seems like it's just for families/children, but it's actually great even for just adults going too!

Cannot say enough how good this was, my daughter is mad on penguins so this was for her birthday treat. From start to finish the keeper clare was excellent answering all of graces questions and interacting with her completely. Excellent value for money and great day out

Went to drusillas Park.was a 2 hour drive so was a little bit disappointed with what we paid fir.the zoo is really good but when it came to rides for my 3 year old grandaughter there wasn’t much.we went on 9th May and because it was early season I suppose they class it like that there wasn’t much open.staff had to run astound taking turns to open rides so my grandaughter was disappointed she had to wait fir staff to open them at certain times.there were only 5 rides in total to go on when they openened them now and then.there were no ice cream huts open at all.only one restaurant was open and 2 sovenier shops.was really disappointed as it was a hot day and was a fair walk back to sovenier shop to find an ice cream or lolly to buy for little one.got to say though the food was lovely and restaurant was nice and clean.not hardly any toilets open around the park.took us 2 hours to get there so won’t be going there again.

Visited on a very hot, very busy bank holiday but still had a brilliant day out with toddlers aged 2 & 3. Never queued for more than 2 minutes for anything. Refreshments were very good value and the staff were all lovely. Well done Drusillas!

When booking, I thought the prices a little expensive for what I was expecting. I was proved to be wrong! If you pre-book online you can save £2 per person or you can use Tesco Club card vouchers to save even more money.

We visited on a sweltering hot day so it was busy but there was plenty of free car parking. There was no queue at the entrance so we went straight in. You are immediately into the zoo area but you can bypass that if your kids want to go straight to the play area and amusements.

There are lots of small animals to see, generally in well kept areas. Some seem to be better than others for the animals and we saw plenty of small monkeys having lots of fun in the trees and rope areas in their enclosure. They have put in lots of effort into making it interesting for children as there are fun things to do relating to the animals all around the zoo and there is lots to be learnt too. Who ever knew that a group of parrots was called a pandemonium?

After spending a good couple of hours seeing the animal exhibits, you end up in a large childrens play area. Plan ahead by taking swimwear for the water fun areas but there's lots of other things to play on if you want to keep them dry. There's not lots for toddlers to go on, but there are some swings and slides which they can use. There is also a train ride, a Hello Kitty car ride and a spinning tea cups ride which the toddlers will like plus a few others which are a bit more boisterous for the older kids. All of the rides are included in the entrance fee as well, which makes it good value after all!

If you're happy to watch your kids playing for ages, you could easily spend a whole day here. There are drinks machines around the zoo and a cafe serving the usual Burgers and stuff in the play area. There are also three small souvenir shops and plenty of areas to sit, some shaded some not. You could even take a picnic if you so wish.

We had a lovely day and would fully recommend it, especially with families with 3-10 year olds.

We decided to explore Drusillas Park on May bank holiday. Not only did we have the most glorious weather, the park it’s self was perfect for all 3 of my children aged 5/8 and 10. The zoo has so many different animals, with fun facts, trails and feeding times. We then went into the play area which was amazing, followed by the splash pad! The restaurant was delicious, we enjoyed the hotdogs (they are a must).
As if that wasn’t enough we went on the safari train ride around the whole park and found hello kitty’s garden which won my 5 yr old daughters heart. It wasn’t very busy, so we didn’t have to que for any rides. We can’t wait to return, So much fun!

Lots to do for the little ones and a mini theme park for the older kids. There's a place where you can feed parrots and they land on you and eat from your hand. Absolutely amazing family day out
