My children totally love Drusillas, and unusually for similar attractions, so do we! It is the best laid-out and planned zoo or theme-park we have been to.
And although the site is not really very big, it is so cleverly designed that even at busy times it never feels crowded, and visitors are taken around in a well planned way. We have been on quiet days, busy days, hot sun and rain, and it is brilliant every time because there is so much to do. I would advise best for under-12s, and there are often a lot of very tiny children there, but animal lovers of all ages would enjoy it.
The zoo is big enough that with interested children doing the free animal-spotter booklets it can take about 2 hours or more to go through, and the "zoo route" takes you past all the animals, with lots of good information and activities to hold their attention. After the zoo come the enormous and varied playgrounds Go Wild and Go Bananas, and the big indoor soft-play area is great for wet days. The cafes are reasonably priced and the loos are the best you will find in a tourist attraction - dual seat loos (can put down a little seat for toddlers), adult-sized disabled changing if needed, plenty of cubicles (avoid the little block near the bats).
There is a great paddling area with fountains, and water squirters which are designed to not work if pointed at the parents' benches round the sides!!! Popular picnic spot.
There are a few pay-extra attractions we have never bothered with, before getting on the Safari train (used to be Thomas) which goes right around the park, and after that is a maze, Hello Kitty land with 3 good fun fair rides, and 2 more Safari fair rides. All included in the reasonable ticket price. We stayed from 10am - 5pm today!

I've been going to Drusillas for decades as a child. I returned today after a prolonged absence and I have to say I am very impressed with the way the Park has developed over the years. It has because a place of learning and adventure. Very impressed. They should be proud of their accomplishment.

I take twin toddlers here frequently and we always have a fantastic day out. It is very expensive for 2 year olds however you can easily kill a whole day here especially during the summer months and you only need to go 3 times a year to cover the yearly membership fee. Food is reasonable although quite expensive but they have a lovely picnic area.

Took my kids here for my eldest girls birthday and they had the most amazing time. So much to do and see. A day out that really does last the whole day. Great for all ages.

Our 2 year old loved this place. The animals were very interesting and the water section and mini amusement park were just right for him. The train is perfect for a 2 year old. The food isn't bad pretty standard menu. The only thing I thought was a bit harsh was that they charged us for our 2 year old to get in, but we still enjoyed the day.

Just wish all sections were opened every day. I can only take my grandson during the week & some things only open on weekends. Still pay the same rates
