My daughter loves sloths so as a special treat for her 21st I booked a 'meet the sloth' experience at Drussillas. With grandparents in tow we arrived at the park unsure what to expect as it's some distance from our home so unfamiliar to us. What a lovely place. Not huge like Marwell, Chester etc but plenty to see and do especially for small children but also older generations. The whole atmosphere was friendly, very clean, polite/helpful staff and old fashioned but in a positive way, not noisey and overwhelming like many similar attractions. The history of the park was fascinating. The animals looked well looked after. The keeper responsible for the sloth experience was very knowledgeable and patience as sloths don't perform on command. He also allowed myself to join part of the behind the scenes tour with my daughter which I wasn't expecting. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the day..... And my daughter got to feed a sloth something she will be talking about for years to come. Cannot recommend Drusillas highly enough.

Had a great family day out here, with plenty of amazing creatures to see. The park is well laid out with a route to follow to make sure you don't miss anything. The keepers are friendly and keen to chat or answer questions. There's a good variety of animals and settings to keep it interesting and lots of information boards.

We didn't spend a lot of time in the play-park as our kids are a wee bit older but there seemed to be plenty of stuff to do there. The food in the cafe we went to was fine and not as expensive as in some of these attractions.

An excellent day out!

Nice zoo with lots of small animals. Loads of information and fun facts about each but laid out so that you can whiz through it with young children without reaching breakdown point.

The playground is large and fun. The soft play is big and there are some rides and a 3 minute train loop.

Perfect day out for young kids. I hope there would've been more interaction with the animals. There were no displays or animal handling, although this may have been because we went on a weekday. Somewhere like Longleat is better for animal interaction and displays.

A great day out for families! All of the keepers are really knowledgeable and passionate about their animals. There's lots to learn, and lots of activities to stop little ones getting bored! Make sure to leave time at the end of the day to go round the animals again - you'll get to see them being fed and behaving more naturally once the crowds have died down.

I went with my sister and her niece for a day out to spend some time together. It is a really good day with lots to do. Obviously it is hard to see some of the animals caged and there is always in my head the juxtapositions of showing real animals to the young and the animals not being in the wild. But it was a good fun day out. I would however like to ask Drusilla's to stop the plastic water bottles and the straws and the general use of plastics and upgrade to using clever ways to make this place more environmentally clever. I would also say some more healthy food would be good everywhere.

I grew up hearing about Drusillas, yet never been. Until now and I guess it is better late than never. Drusillas has a great reputation and the hype is well deserved. My niece loved it and I did too. The facilities are excellent. The animals all look healthy and well looked after. The attractions are fun and well thought out. The price looks steep, but go inside and you’ll see why it’s worth the price. The whole site is not all that large, but the clever design meant that a lot of animals can be exhibited and their enclosures aren’t small. As a big kid at heart, I’d love to go back. The rides and the adventure playground id for kids, but that didn’t stop me from having a go.

I wanted to write this review to say a big thanks to the team at Drusillas for making my daughters Zoo Keeper for the day experience so memorable.
Having visited previously I thought I would suprise my 11 year daughter and treat her to a day at the Zoo feeding the animals, I have to admit she was a little nervous at first but as soon as she met her mentor for the day she was immediately made to feel welcome and I can say she had a brilliant day. Not only did she leave with a t-shirt and certificate that now sits proudly on her wall but with bags of great memories.
Overall I would highly recommend firstly druisillas zoo but also if you are thinking about the Zoo Keeper for a day experience for your child but unsure if it’s worth the money then I can ensure you it is .

Clean
Plenty of toilets for a nearly potty trained toddler
Good animal enclosures and activities to keep kids amused
Daughter loved the hello kitty and safari rides which we went on with her.
Food had good variety of hot, healthy, lunch, salad options.
Fair prices
Queue times were great often no queue for the rides.
Water zone looked great, wish we had taken daughters swim costume.

Only negative was on arrival the overflow car park was stoney and although that’s fine a van came in very fast and flicked stones up all the way down, could hear them pinging off of all the cars down to where he parked, so perhaps a plan to stop the vehicles doing so in a area that can cause damage to others and others vehicles the two Marshall’s didn’t seem bothered.

Overall:great day out
