It was a nice venue, the play/comedy hound of the baskervilles was OK, but I felt there missed chances of it being a good show, to being a rip roaring laughter fest, there were lines screaming to be said and acted, I enjoyed it but felt it just lacked the final segment.

Venue: very friendly and helpful staff, free on street parking available close by, comfortable seats, clean toilets and not too expensive for seats.
Show performance: brilliant - saw the Hound of the Baskervilles comedy, which was well adapted for the stage, very witty and generally well acted.
All in all, a good night out.

Great show from G4 but our experience of attending with two disabled members of our party was amongst the poorest we've experienced. I understand it's an old theatre, but taking my mum's walker away ( and not bringing it back) was unsettling as she couldn't get to the toilet during the interval. Apparently we should have booked a wheelchair space. But she doesn't have a wheelchair?

The main thing that immediately strikes you about the Devonshire is how cosy and welcoming it is. All the staff were more than happy to care for wheelchair access and all were very friendly

Our group of carers and clients had a great time at Devonshire Park Theatre watching 'Rapunzel' on stage. We were made to feel very welcome and the whole outing was very special and the staff at the theatre were great. Can't recommend this venue highly enough.
