We purchased a replacement Bosch washing machine and dishwasher, both of which were in stock, together with display models in the showroom which was a great help in making our choices of model. We were therefore able to take delivery of these and had them installed by DB Domestics very quickly - so far so good. Unfortunately however our experience was spoilt when it came to the Warranty which caused my wife and me considerable concern due to ambiguous documentation which led us to believe that the 5 year warranty as advertised was free for the first two years only with an extra three years available at a cost of £99. This turned out not to be the case however due to a special Bosch deal which was never explained to us by the salesperson. This was despite the fact that we specifically discussed the warranties with him as we were weighing up the pros and cons of a different model which had only two year warranty and the extra “free” three years was never mentioned! A pity really hence the failure of a five star rating!
