Very enjoyable evening, the artists were first class. It's a shame that this venue is closing soon for refurbishment.

I last saw Swan Lake in the theatre.
The performances I've seen have been good and I know the theatre is to be closed and refurbished at the end of the year.
It's hard to know where best to sit. The Grand Circle feels so far from the stage and the first row has no legroom and is uncomfortable.
In the Stalls the main part is not staggered and your view depends on who is sitting in front of you. The Raised Stalls feels far away again.
I hope that the refurbishment will make substantial improvements. The current seats are very uncomfortable and overall the legroom is poor. The bar area needs to be better dressed with improved seating and tables to stand at, if you choose to. The place needs careful thought to make it a leading theatre, including the attitude of some staff.

What a great venue. The all round view and acoustics were excellent. We were seated in the Grand a Circle which was very well laid out. The actual show with the Hollies was truly fantastic and fully appreciated by the near capacity audience. If you ever visit Eastbourne ensure you take in a show.

We have been many times to see many different shows, plays and concerts. Like many theatres in provincial towns it needs support, which is variable even though what is staged often is as good as anything to be seen in the West End. It is a bit tired, but nonetheless homely. The staff are fine and bookings easy to make. There is much to like.

The Congress is in better shape than many local theatres. Comfy seats with good legroom, friendly staff, good location, and we saw a good show.

Visit here normally in spring and autumn for the regular sixties music show. Surprising how many of the originals are still performing.
Some of really good standard but others should probably think about putting their feet up and retiring.
Great to see the bands and solo singers.
Tonight the Searchers, PJ Proby, Wayne Fontana, Brian Poole and Tremeloes and Gary Puckett.
Venue is due to close in early 2017 for major refurbishment.
