Went to Athens tonight as a date night where should I begin<br><br>Starters beautifully presented and delicious only thing I wish was that I got a photo to share but no faults here<br><br>Mains as the picture's the lamb was perfectly cooked falling off the bone the way I would hope it would the rice and potatoes complemented perfectly and the lasagna had amazing flavours was perfect<br><br>Desert we had the red velvet cheese cake, twice.<br>again the texture and consistency was on point that ended up getting a 2nd helping presentation was also fantastic<br><br>Wine went with the house special was a white wine I would strongly recommend was great to taste and wasn't to heavy<br><br>Staff.. well fantastic, great communication, was not pushy at all, kind, considerate and also very informative great recommendations<br><br>All in all perfect experience and look forward to returning when the father in law comes to visit 10/10 thank you guys

We had a wonderful meal here last night. Helen was amazing, made us feel really welcome with her wonderful service. The food was lovely, we had the souvlaki and stiffado, plus bread and a few beers. The food was obviously cooked with love! Can highly recommend.

Unlike a recent reviewer (and I appreciate that reviews are of personal opinion), I would highly recommend Athens in Eastbourne (UK).<br><br>This visit was my first (of many I hope) and we were there for a friends birthday celebration.<br><br>Food: The food I received was amazing, mixed dips and pitta, then Kleftiko (Lamb Shank), absolutely amazing! Others had different dishes and all said the same.<br><br>Staff: very friendly, attentive and helpful.<br><br>Atmosphere: Lovely feel to the place, lots of pictures on the walls, 2 toilets upstairs, and then the man started singing, which was great for that party vibe, even got a couple of songs in myself which was great.<br><br>Overall, a great night and a 5 star experience, well deserved.

Absolutely unbelievable food Helen was amazing she could not do enough for us atmosphere was wonderful, and again the food was to die for, me and my partner will be back again I cannot recommend this place enough.

My wife and I had a 50th wedding anniversary dinner here at the Athens. We can honestly say it was a great night the food was great and the staff were excellent with Steve on the Mike singing what a night. Thank you all at the Athens restaurant for a very memorable night.

The best restaurant in Eastbourne! Between us we had starters of halloumi and garlic bread, mains traditional moussaka and kleftico! Amazing food & atmosphere, such good fun x

Went here last year with my partner and 2 of our friends.<br>Great atmosphere and the owner was very friendly.<br>The food was lovely and the owner broke into a karaoke session a couple of times during the evening. He even spent time with every table while their food was being prepared.<br>A lovely evening and a good value place.

We had a brilliant night, the food was good and the atmosphere brilliant. We were having a birthday party and the owners made it special, the karaoke went down well, we sang all night. Thoroughly recommend, especially for any celebrations.

My Brother and Sister-in-law brought me to this amazing Greek restaurant. The staff made you feel welcome the minute you through the door. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. When I'm in Eastbourne again I will definitely come here.<br>Can only give 5-stars but would rather give 8-stars. Would recommend anyone coming to Eastbourne to try this.
