Really enjoyed this evening meal, we had reserved a table as it was a Saturday night. The food was delicious, my husband had calzonr to start and vegan pizza which was extremely tasty. I had the parmigiana for starter and ravioli alla zucca for main. Delectable! Staff were friendly and polite.

Lovely family run restaurant, just off the main seafront. Offering a varied menu of well known dishes as well as traditional street food, options. Never been disappointed.<br>The pizzas are soo good!

Wow what a perfectly lovely authentic Italian restaurant. The dishes we had were perfect from start to finish and so wish there was a restaurant like this near where we live.<br>We found this little gem by accident as we were planning to go to a different restaurant but I'm so very glad we ended up at Anema e Core. By far the best Italian food we've had yet. Can't wait to get back to Eastbourne and book a table here again! Would recommend to anyone. Thank you to the staff and Chefs for making us feel so welcome and producing such delicious meals.

Chose this restaurant as a good local place to carb load prior to the Brighton Marathon. What a find. Amazing service and the food was excellent. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Amazing food and service. We had the frittura di pesce which is a fried seafood platter Really good! Homemade pasta for main which was great. Highly recommend. I can see why they're the number 1 Italian in Eastbourne!!!

Wow, what a gem. So so glad to have found this whilst we are on holiday. The food is incredible, homemade, tasty, decent, gorgeous food. The service was friendly and excellent. I asked for some dishes to be explained to me, which they were with a real authentic knowledge. It's no surprise it was full on a week day. I had spaghetti carbonara, the pasta was plump and fresh. Really look forward to going back, massive shout out to the chefs, cooks

So mixed experiences. My food was lovely, bruschetta followed by a delicious pasta dish. However my husband ordered calamari and asked if it was fresh, he was told yes but on arrival it was obviously frozen. He then had lasagna which was cold in the middle. Unfortunately when he complained the waitress took offence and was very defensive. If she had been apologetic the whole incident would habe been rectified but instead it became a battle. The house red wine was lovely but sadly we will never return

We've spent the last 2 evenings in this wonderful traditional family run restaurant and could quite easily spend the rest of our time here in eastbourne in the same restaurant. Fantastic in every way. We'll be back . For sure. X

They serve the most delicious food here. I was staying for work and popped in for an evening meal. The Calzoni was delicious, service was excellent and the restaurant had a lovely warm atmosphere. I recommend a visit if you want a high quality meal.
