My boyfriend and I had a pizza at “Trattoria Anema e Core” before catching our train back to London. I have to be honest… This was the best pizza I have had in the UK!!! The Staff was extremely welcoming and kind. I highly recommend this place to dine in.<br>Grazie 🥰

Lovely food, go for the Pizza which is delicious as the pasta portions are small for the price you pay. Only big issue is that my party and I were told if you’re under 21 you can’t be sold any alcohol unless you’re with an adult! This was disappointing as it was my 18th birthday and their rule was not advertised anywhere on the website or menus, don’t plan on coming here if your 18 and want a drink. Other than that we had a good evening.

I’ve lived in Eastbourne for 12 years and only visited here yesterday for lunch!! I was massively impressed with the fabulous food and service!! We had the Italian tapas and it was SIMPLY DELICIOUS!! Genuinely pleasant staff which was so refreshing to encounter. We will be visiting regularly from now on!! Simply FANTASTIC food and service. Grazie mille!!!!!!

One of the best Calabrese pizzas we’ve ever had. Pasta was also divine. What a hidden gem. Lovely, homely feel. The tiramisu went down despite already feeling full.

We had dinner with friends last night and had great pizza. I would say that it's one of the best I have eaten! If your in Ortigia and want the real deal Go you will not be disappointed!<br>The dough options (Sicilian) and toppings we had were all amazingly good, Thank you!

Best pasta I've had outside of Italy (my husband is Italian so we eat there a lot). I had the pumpkin ravioli with sage, my husband had the wild boar Ragu both were amazing. For desserts we has the rum cake and Panna cotta with pistachio again amazing!

We went there for the second time for lunch and Laura has been the perfect host, from her beautiful smile to her passion for her job, while helping us in chosing the best options for our needs! For a saturday lunch the place was surprisingly empty, a place like this should be crowded at all times because of the genuine and excellent food and service! We shared a focaccia with porchetta (traditional roman roasted pork) and cheese for starter and the main was with meat and potatoes.<br>YOu can take anything unfinished back home, including the bottle of wine we had.<br>Anima e Core is definitelly worth your visit if you fancy something truly Italian, cooked by Italians using Italian ingredients.<br>We will go again 😉😊
