Had a fab night here last night celebrating a birthday with the girls. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The ladies behind the bar were very friendly and came across really well. We will def be regulars now and be recommending this pub. They even gave the birthday girl a little bottle of Prosecco. So lovely! X

So a mate and i went in for a quick Guinness, just to wet the whistle, and the first pint was awful but this had been noticed! Before you know it, out of blue, 2 fresh (and may i just say perfect) Guinness were brought over as replacements without us even murmruing a whisper. Top quality ladies, keep up the good work!

Went for the first time since being run by The crown and anchor. What a difference. Lovely atmosphere great food, great service. Will definitely become my local again.

My partner and I have this evening enjoyed two amazing meals. Two courses were more than enough the portion sizes large the quality of the food 10/10. The staff were all attentive and brilliant the general atmosphere relaxing and again brilliant. A vast improvement on previous experiences

Fantastic to see the pub open again as an eatery.
Knowing how good the food in their sister pub,The Crown & Anchor is,I was expecting good things and we weren’t disappointed.
The minted lamb burger was tasty & juicy , my sons steak was cooked to perfection and my bubble and squeak was delicious.
The staff were lovely & friendly.
We will definitely be in again(especially as it’s on my doorstep!)

Went for lunch today, Evie, Olly and Esther were all lovely and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Really attentive service throughout, food was delicious and very generous portions! Really good value for money, will definitely be returning!

10 of us went down here Thursday night, 2nd night of opening. New owners, clean new look, pub looked great. Really friendly staff and lovely homemade food. Kids loved the garden. Can’t recommend it enough…can’t wait to come back!
