I am always happy to help charitable fund-raising events so Kate from Stripey Maroo (who sell unique contemporary jewellery) dropped me a quick note to let me know about an event that's happening in September in Chelmsford.
The "Yummy Mummy Baby and Toddler Fayre" is happening at the Riverside Leisure Centre on Sunday 21st September and is being run by CLIC Sargent a charity dedicated to caring for children with cancer. This is part of National "Yummy Mummy Week" which takes place during 20th-28th September 2008 and raises valuable funds for the charity which is the country's leading childrens' cancer charity.
The Clic Sargent website will give you more information and Kate urges everybody to come down and support this excellent and worthwhile cause!
Kate will be there with daughter Izzy and I hope a lot more mum's will support them too.
