Fun is planned across Chelmsford this weekend as the nation celebrates St. George's Day - the patron saint of England.
The Golden Fleece pub in Chelmsford town centre will be hosting its 'Twisted Village Fete' throughout today in aid of Cancer Research, including the opportunity to sample some of the Brentwood Brewing Company's specially created St. George Day ales.
High Chelmer shopping centre will also be inviting local children to take part in its celebrations on Saturday with face painting, flag designing and the chance to win £100 to spend in the centre.
The streets of Chelsmford will be lined with the St. Georges Cross and vibrant bunting will brighten up the High Street for the next seven days.
