Chelmsford FC will welcome back three key players this ahead of their pre-season friendly against Heybridge tonight.

The game, which kicks off at 7:30pm at Scraley Road, will see Marlon Patterson, Ben Nunn and Dave Rainford return to the team after overcoming injuries.

Chelmsford's Head Coach outlined high hopes for tonight's game after a comprehensive 4-1 win over Maldon & Tiptree on Saturday: “We want a continuation from Saturday where we keep passing the ball well and maintain a good shape.”

“Clean sheets are also important to me at the moment and it was frustrating to concede on Saturday as even Maldon admitted that their player was offside before he scored. Although it was a friendly match, that was still extremely frustrating from our back four’s point of view as we want to make clean sheets a second nature.”

Further information on Chelmsford FC and details on how to obtain tickets for tonight's game can be found at their The Best of Chelmsford page.
