Olly Murs and JLS will be performing two concerts in Chelmsford this summer!

Originally only one concert was planned for Chelmsford but after their first gig quickly sold out 20,000 tickets in two days, they have added an extra concert to meet demand.

The pop stars, who came to fame through the X-Factor, will be performing in July at the outdoor summer concerts in Hylands Park, Chelmsford.

JLS, the winners of 4 MOBO awards, 3 Urban Music Awards and 2 Brit Awards, were runners up to Alexander Burke in the 2008 X-Factor. Since the competition, they have signed up with Epic Records and enjoyed four number one UK hits plus two more top ten hits. Their 2009 debut album, 'JLS' went straight to number one, selling over one million copies in the UK. Their second album 'Outta This World' was released in November 2010 and has already sold 300,000 copies.

The X-Factor 2009 climax saw Olly Murs take second place to winner Joe McElderry. His first single Please Don't Let Me Go, went to number one in the UK charts and his self-titled, platinum selling, debut album was released in 2010 and reached 2nd in the UK album chart.

The second concert will be held at Chelmsford's Hylands Park on Sunday 10th July 2011.
