Swapped e-mails this week with Debbie de Boltz - Corporate & Events Manager at Farleigh's Hospice.
She said ....
"We had our annual Walk for Life on Sunday 18th May, and am delighted to tell you that 1660 people from the area walked either 7 or 14 miles and have pledged to raise over £160,000 for us - a fantastic amount….."
Personally I was astonished; but I have to say to the 1660, whoever you are, wherever you are, congratulations and well done.
I know every penny will be used wisely and will really help the cause.
