Don't be a scrooge - get into the Christmas spirit in 2010 by attending one (or some) of the many festive events taking place in Chelmsford.

Father Christmas will be paying a flying visit to Chelmsford tomorrow as he sets up in a cosy log cabin for the day at Marsh Farm.

Situated in a stunning Winter Wonderland setting, Marsh Farm will be transformed into the North Pole for one day only tomorrow, Tuesday 7th December, offering local kids the chance to make a Christmas craft gift, visit the animals in their Winter housing and meet Father Christmas himself.

Further information and prices are available at The Best of Chelmsford events page.

But don't worry, we're not forgetting the parents either!

A special Christmas edition of the highly popular Music Quiz Night at the Norton pub on Latchingdon Road starts from 8:30pm on Friday night, 10th December.

Those who still have a few more Christmas presents to pick up will adore the Chelmsford Christmas Market this weekend.

Running from Saturday 11th December until Monday evening, the market boasts a wide range of unique continental gifts on sale including perfume, cashmere, jewellery and chocolates.

Situated on Chelmsford High Street, the Market compliments the huge range of local shops and boutiques offering a fantastic shopping experience in Chelmsford this Christmas.
