Do Carrots Really make You See In The Dark?

I always remember my mum saying to me eat your carrots if you want to be able to see in the dark but I never really beleived her. Turns out she was right!

They contain beta-carotene which your body turns into vitamin A. Vitamin A turns out to be the vitamin that helps you have healthy eyesight. Vitamin A also know as retinol fights all the nasty eye related problems like cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma  and night blindness. Lucky I like carrots!

So next time you mother says to you eat you carrots and see in the dark dont look at her like shes a mad woman and tuck in.
