Could Your Health Problems Be Caused by Food Intolerance?

It is estimated that as many as 50% of the population in the UK suffer with adverse reactions to food. Many of these people are not diagnosed with allergies by routine methods. It is now recognized that immune hypersensitivity reactions can give rise to symptoms that are commonly referred to as intolerances. These symptoms can be mild, chronic or even more serious causing auto-immune diseases. If you have any of the following symptoms then you could be suffering with undiagnosed food intolerance:

  • Gastrointestinal: bloating, flatulence, diarrhoea, constipation, IBS, nausea.
  •  Neurological: migraines, headaches, brain fog, hyperactivity, depression.
  •  Somatic: unexplained fatigue, myalgias, joint pain.
  •  Immune: recurrent infections (ear, sinuses, tonisilitis)
  •  Respiratory: chronic mucus, rhinitis, asthma.
  •  Dermatological: rash, urticaria (hives), eczema.
  •  Auto-immune: Coeliac disease, Rheumatoid arthritis.

Food intolerance testing is helping more and more people identify long-term food sensitivity problems and enjoy a better quality of life. Unlike a true allergy food intolerance can usually be reversed by dietary changes and supplements.

Combined with Nutritional Therapy, Intolerance testing can help you achieve Optimum Health which is more than just the absence of disease.
