Coronation Street's psycho murderer, Richard Hillman will be treading the boards in Chelmsford.
Actor Brian Capron became a household name when he played the role of Tricky Dicky in Coronation Street back in 2001 and he takes on another murderous role as psychiatrist Roy Flemming in the stage play, Lt Columbo Prescription: Murder at Chelmsford's Civic Theatre.
The play first toured in the 1960's, when Hollywood star Joseph Cotton played the role and the stage play became the pilot for the well known television series, Columbo. On our screens, the disheveled detective series enjoyed massive success.
The lead role of Columbo is played by American John Guerrasio.
The play has received great reviews and is half way through its tour.
Lt Columbo Prescription: Murder comes to Chemsford's Civic Theatre from 11th until 16th April 2011.
