Celebrate the spookiest ever Halloween in Chelmsford
7th October 2010

Halloween in Chelmsford is shaping up to be the scariest ever, with a variety of fright-filled events taking place throughout the end of October.

Normally celebrated on or around the 31st October, Halloween is chance for the dead to return to walk amongst us and for ghosts, ghouls and other beastly creatures to scare the locals into giving them sweets!

Various events and promotions will be taking place across Chelmsford, so be sure to search The Best of Chelmsford for your local fancy dress shop, cake supplier or party venue.

The Stable Visitors Centre at Hylands House will be welcoming local children to create their own Halloween masks on the 29th October.

Open from 10am, the Centre will be helping local kids to create devilishly frightening masks and crafts ready for Halloween.

Hylands House will then be opening its doors to local monsters again on Saturday 30th October from 7pm with a Halloween event for the whole family.

Starting with a pizza at local Italian restaurant La Vista, the staff from Hylands House will whisk you away for a spooky tour around the Pleasure Gardens, followed a spectacular Halloween themed light show.

For up to the minute information on Halloween events taking place across Chelmsford this October, be sure to check The Best of Chelmsford events directory.
