Girton Golf Club, situated a few miles out from the city of Cambridge, welcomes golfers of all ages and standards as members and visitors and actively encourages societies. The course is locally renowned and it even has an indoor state of the art swing studio.
As well as enjoying around a dozen rounds of golf at Girton I regularly attend their Friday night quiz that is on during the winter months. Maureen the quizmaster is an absolute star! Last month I also attended a business networking even there and the breakfast was fantastic as well as being a great venue.

Sue was the only instructor that got back to me quickly and who didn't fob me off or expect me to go miles away to get picked up, and she made room for me in a busy schedule. And I am so glad Sue was the instructor I ended up with. Sue is the most dedicated instructor you could hope for. She will not just train you to pass your test, but will really teach you to drive, and will adapt her methods to suit your way of learning. I had driven a bit in an automatic, for example, so she taught me in those terms and led me to unlearn habits of automatic driving without me even noticing she was doing so.
She keeps her cool and is a constant calming presence even if you feel like panicking. She will be truthful about when she thinks you're ready to take your test; she's not going to drag it out or try to get you in before you're ready. She's always doing more to become a better instructor, even though she's already the best, and she cares so much about her job and her students. I can't recommend her enough. If you get on her schedule, you'll be lucky.

Steve has just completed a great job on the outside of our house. He is a rare find in the trade: someone who does what he says when he says he is going to do it. His work is of a high standard and competitively priced. A couple of extra jobs he found while here (cracked pane of glass/worn sash-cord) were done efficiently, to a high standard and at an extremely reasonable rate. We are thrilled with the results of his hard work. The final cleaning he did was a revelation (see web-site). He even worked happily around the family during the holidays. We would recommend him highly.
