Toads School of Driving is simply the best ! The instructors are always on time for lessons, with the lessons being very enjoyable and worthwhile. The pupil knows they are safe in the car with the instructors with teaching being adapted to be the most beneficial to the individuals needs. It is clear that the pupils safety and learning is the number one priority and a life long skill is taught truly excellently. This driving school thoroughly deserves a good recommendation. I passed my driving test recently thanks to Sue at Toads School of Driving. I am able to drive safely - it was raining on my test ! I had lots of fun in my lessons and looked forward to every one. I will really miss Sue and look forward to Pass Plus. Thank you Hayley

My lessons were highly enjoyable and Sue gave me loads of confidence right from day 1! All the lessons took place in varied locations and at different times of the day so I became aware of different traffic conditions. I drove in all weather conditions too, including snow & ice and this built my confidence in handling the car.
I wasn't just taught how to pass the test, but how to drive with skill and awareness and by the most fun instructor!! I'm looking forward to the Pass Plus course so I can learn further skills for life. Thank you Sue for helping me pass first time!! Sian x

"I started learning to drive with BSM and quickly saw they weren't going to properly help and teach me how to drive, so I looked for another driving school and found Toad! In my first lesson with Sue, I covered and improved upon everything I'd learnt in multiple lessons with BSM, and I actually had fun in my lessons! I went from a nervous mess, dreading my lessons to quickly gaining confidence and looking forward to a two-hour laugh with a mum-like figure. Unfortunately, Sue's too good a teacher and I was ready for my test too quickly and the lessons finished too quickly. My first test was cancelled and I had to wait two months to take it, but I remembered everything Sue taught me through the wait; pizza slices and Little Johnny helped me pass with only one minor! Thank you Sue!"

Learning to drive with Toads School of Driving has been great. Sue was always very patient, informative and in general good fun to be with. For this reason I always looked forward to my driving lessons. I think the main thing about the Toads, however, is how well they prepare you for your test in addition driving independently afterwards. I am now looking forward to Pass Plus! Merry

'Before my first driving lesson I was really nervous but Nicola instantly settled my nerves as she was really friendly and welcoming. Nicola is really patient so even if you're having a bad day or lesson nicola is completely understanding and is really encouraging because she wants you to enjoy the experience of driving and make you the best driver you can be. Nicola makes lessons fun as we always have chats and laugh about various things. I would highly recommend Nicola if you're thinking about learning how to drive, changing instructors, etc.... Nicola has boosted my confidence when driving loads and I'm now looking forward to taking my test soon!' Chelsey H.

I loved the fact that I could relax. My friends with other driving instructors always talked about how stressful it was. I never got that because you were so friendly and chatty! I also loved that I passed first time but I didn't just get taught to pass the test I got taught how to do every day driving like you do in real life. It means I have adjusted really well to being on my own for the first time :) Emma.

Last Wednesday I passed my driving test without any driving faults - a year ago finding the courage to contact Sue and book a lesson was a struggle. Sue has been amazing; always supportive and understanding and above all proffesional. As well as teaching safe driving practice Sue has taught me the power of positive thinking and some fantastic techniques to counteract nerves before the big day. This driving school provides personal lessons to fit with individual pupils needs and provide lessons at the weekends, early mornings and evenings. I look forward to pass plus lessons since there's no way I would say goodbye to Sue or the toad school of driving yet!
