I moved to Becki and Toad's School of Driving from another instructor and the difference was amazing. Becki is a very patient, friendly instructor and I immediately found it easy to talk to her and maintain a relaxed environment during the lesson.
This said, Becki is not too relaxed. She was always watching and aware of what was going on, calmly telling me if I was doing something wrong. By doing this, she makes it easier to learn from the mistake and develop skills. At the end of every lesson, Becki would take me through the marks she had given me throughout the lesson, explaining why and how I could improve on them.
Over a short period of time, my driving skills improved dramatically along with my confidence. I found it easy to talk to Becki and we often shared a joke; Becki has a great sense of humour and was never in a bad mood during any lessons.
I would heartily recommend Becki and Toad's School of Driving. Becki is an excellent driving instructor and her relaxed yet skilled approach is one that was perfect for me and various others. All paperwork is organised in a simple folder, meaning easy filing of the paperwork that comes with learning to drive.
The main reason I would choose Toad's School of Driving is not only the excellent instruction and brilliant organisation, but the personal and friendly approach of the instructors; something that is absent from most other driving schools.

Sue Papworth is one of the best driving instructors which you will find ANYWHERE!
Sue's sense of humor and friendly nature means that you feel relaxed and calm behind the wheel of the car which was essential to my success. Sue is not just a great instructor but also a great friend. If you’re finding lessons hard threes no better person to help you through it and get you back to safe and fun driving. Every lesson which I had with Sue was fun and enjoyable (with the help of the Cambridge nutters). If you pick Toads school of driving then you will get the chance to drive a Mini which is a great car to learn in. It allows you to drive care free due to all its amazing features. Due to Sue's second to none instruction I was able to PASS my test FIRST TIME with 1 minor. This was only because I had been taught to the highest level possible. I can now drive with confidence and be safe at the same time.
All I can say is thank you Sue for all your help and good luck in the future.

Where do i begin....... I met Sue the day i come back off of my holiday we clicked straight away infact i never quite realised how much of an impact on my life Sue would have, she feels like part of the family. If anyone is looking for a fantastic driving instuctor that is willing to do ANYTHING to get you to test then Sue is the one for you. I have had so much fun whilst learning with Sue infact i have been named Natalie Dustcart due to an incident with a Dustcart coming towards me, along with old men blowing kisses at us, a Subaru pulling out on us on a mini roundabout and the Prostitue on the staples roundabout, these are just a few things that happened to us on my lessons around Cambridge.

Sue has also become a very good friend to my mum and after i had a few failed tests they decided to get together and sort out a suprise driving test for me, this made a difference to my driving however i did panic when i woke up one morning to find Sue sat outside my house ready for a lesson at 7am! The only person that knew about it was my mum and Sue as i was SUPPOSED to be having a test at Cowley Road however there wasnʼt an examiner to take me out so i never took the test. I went through a period after my second test where i was going to give up however after many tears Sue pulled me through and made me a better driver for it. I would recommend doing a suprise test if you are a nervous person or go to pieces on test as it does honestly work. I never felt uncomfortable in the car with Sue as she was always calm and had the confidence in me to pass. All i need to say is Thankyou very much for all the support that you gave me throughout learning to drive. Will keep in touch. Lots of Love.
