I first met Sue when my friend began learning with her, and allowed me to sit in the back while she had her lesson. It was watching and listening to her teach that made me decide that she was the one to learn with. Her teaching methods are excellent and easy to understand and her patient manner makes you feel totally at ease, even if you don't get it first time. I never felt stupid when I didn't get something quite right. In the short time that I learnt with Sue, we became great friends and still are now. She is an inspirational lady who makes you feel like you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it. Thanks to her I passed first time after 2 months with only 2 minors, but still feel like I can drive anywhere, in any situation, not just drive a test route and pass my test.
I really miss my lessons and if I was ever to do Pass Plus I wouldn't think twice about asking Sue.

Sue is fantastic!!! I just passed my test on the first try with five minor faults - after three months of instruction. Sue was a rock and a riot all the way through, and she really tailors her teaching to the individual (unlike other driving instructors who will bore you to death and seem to be on autopilot the whole time...). She's a natural teacher, always reliable and cheerful, and gives way more than 100% to each lesson. Plus, the car (a Mini Cooper) is fantastic to drive and easy to learn on. Becky is a star as well - so don't take driving lessons with anyone other than the wonderful women of Toad's!!!

Sue at Toad was a fantastic instructor. sue is friendly, made me feel relaxed and the whole experience has been thoroughly enjoyable. To top it all I passed my test first time. 110% recomended to anyone looking for a driving instructor.

I had lots of fun learning to drive with Sue and am sort of sad that I passed my test and no longer have driving lessons to look forward to. Sue was a great teacher who stayed calm and helpful even when I was panicking, she never lost her patience and we had a great time talking and joking in my lessons. Thankyou Sue, I highly recommend you to everyone.

Sue was an amazing instructor! I had so much fun (including having my friend sit in the car with me, and me and my friend both driving up to Norfolk in a shared lesson for 5 hours! which was amazing!) I also got so much experience and confidence on the roads! Sue is so friendly and chatty and never ever shouted at me, she didn't even get mad once, she would be so calm and helpful to sort out problems. I passed first time because of her amazing help, and I definitely definitely want to do pass plus with her :D thank you Sue love you!

I learnt with toad's school of driving and Becki was an amazing instructor. She listens to you and helps you to understand roads that you struggle, with and whats best is that she makes Learning Fun. My lessons with Becki were really fun and she made learning easy as she explained things clearly and helpfully. I only had about 6 lessons with Becki and passed first time with only 4 minors.
Becki is a great instructor and goes at your pace, making it much easier to learn. Can't wait for Pass Plus

Sue made it quick and easy to learn with her fun filled lessons. We always seemed to be laughing about one thing or another. She made sure there was always a very relaxed environment during lessons :)
Sue had several sayings that helped me remember what to do and help me learn fast. I soon got the name parrot, becasue i had memorized her sayings. I will always remember to look out for Little Johnny, and your twins 'left shoulder' & right shoulder' ;) to keep me SAFE.
I remember in one of my lessons and you were describing how you looked for 'safety not profection' and i thought you said 'safety not protection' this is just one of the many laugh's we had.
Thank you also for allowing me to have my friends in the car during my lessons, this helped me become aware of what distractions i would have to face once i had passed my test.
i loved roundabouts when i thought i'd got first and really i had got reverse ;) the car behind loved it. I bet not many learners hit rabbits... i couldnt believe it but you were just like 'thats one less well done becka'

Learning with Sue was an experience i'll never forget. The lessons were always full of laughter which made the pointers easier to remember and do. I'll always remember to look out for her vietnamese twins, Sid and Little Johnny. Hot tottie spotting was always a great laugh and it also had other benefits of making me look out for pedestrians too! Now i always slow down for pedestrian crossings ;) The relaxed feel helped me learn and when i passed first time with 4 minors it was rather emotional as i was leaving a friend as well as an instructor. Becky is a brilliant instructor! She's excellent at explaining things clearly and not making you feel bad when you make silly mistakes - and she's also great fun to have lessons with! I really enjoyed learning to drive with Becky, and am looking forward to the pass plus. I also agree that the nodding toad in the back of the mini is awesome! xxx

Both my brothers and I have all learnt to drive with the Toad School of Driving and have all passed to an excellent standard. Sue gave me the confidence and ability to drive safely and enjoy it. My lessons were amazing, filled with laughter and a lot of learning! We even stopped for chocolate rats after a bay park in ALDI! Id like to thank Sue so much, I couldn't have asked for anyone better, i have had such a laugh and passed first time with only 5 minors! THANKYOU SUE!! love you lots, Nikki Campbell xxxxx

Sue is a great driving instructor, she really gives you confidence in driving and you learn exactly what you need to learn in an enjoyable way. She is always reliable and plans your lessons specifically to what you need. I highly recommend Toads driving school.

Toad is BRILLIANT!!! Sue is the best instructor ever. I started driving lessons about 5 years previous with another instructor that was, to put it nicely 'not very good'! so when I came to Sue I was so nervous but she kept me calm and got me through my test 1st time (with only 5 minors). Sue is very patient and such a laugh, we had some good laughs in the car! Lessons were great Sue, I will miss them but will keep in touch. I definitely recommend Sue Papworth. Thank you so much. Sue is essentially the greatest woman alive and not a bad driving instructor either suppose... I wouldn't change anything about our lessons especially the way that for some reason people were imagined naked on a weekly basis... Well it must have worked as i passed first time, mainly due to sue and her wise ways! (that and not encountering an old man with a broom on test) Love you toad! Rosie b x x x

Sue is the most patient, brilliant teacher. I passed first time with Sue with only 4 minors. I was so happy and she made me feel so relaxed and in controll behind the wheel. I can't think of a better teacher to learn with while having a laugh at the same time, especially if you want to go partner spotting! I was always looking forward to the next lesson. Not only does Sue teach you to pass your test, but she teaches you to drive safely for life. I will miss spending my hours with her, and in the mini, which is the best car to drive EVER. I would highly recommend her to anybody I meet.

Sue is honestly the best driving instructor I could ever have hoped for she is amazing. She built my confidence right up and always believed in me. I would highly recommend toad to anyone who wants to properly learn how to drive and have loads of fun doing it! I always looked forward to my lessons and am going to miss them so much now I have passed (first time!!) I've really enjoyed my driving lessons with Becky in her amazing red mini! She was really patient, gave clear instructions and knew how to have a laugh! She's definately set me up with the right skills to enjoy driving my own little mini and i'm looking forward to doing my pass plus with her :) I would definately recommend this driving school because Becky has an awesome nodding toad!! :P

I was with my previous driving instructor for a year. Even though I was ready to take my test, during the lessons he would still brake for me, and grab the steering wheel unnerving me. Most of my lessons would consist of driving down country roads, so I was very inexperienced with city driving.
My first lesson with Becki, she was relaxed, which helped me to stay calm and focused. Learning to drive was something that I had been putting off for a long time as it was just something I had never got round to. So when I booked my lessons with Becky Hunter from Toad’s School of Driving I was feeling slightly apprehensive! However that apprehension disappeared as soon as I got in the car with Becky. Her relaxed approach made me feel at ease straight away and learning to drive suddenly didn’t seem as much of a daunting prospect! I thoroughly enjoyed my time learning to drive with Becky, we got on really well and I felt as if I learnt very quickly. The lessons were thorough and I felt as if I could learn at whatever pace suited me. When it came to my I was completely ready for it and new exactly what to expect and everything Becky taught me paid off as I passed first time! I would definitely recommend Becky and the Toad’s School of driving to anyone who wants to progress quickly with a really friendly female instructor. Thanks Becky!
