The Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw is a not for profit initiative which gives one lucky person the opportunity to win £2,000 every Wednesday, whilst supporting new start up businesses from within the borough.
I have supported the draw since the start via Red Tiger karate and was fortunate to win not just once but twice , first time a mini lodge break which we thoroughly enjoyed and the second time was a call on our way to Edinburgh winning with a shared ticket with our 2 children - so treats all round. Waiting for a 3rd now great to support and help bury businesses.

Harvey's Army is an animal charity whose aim is to reunite animals with their owners. Although this is a charity which covers the UK, they have given continual support to animals and their families across the borough of Bury and surrounding areas. The charity do an incredible job and is run by volunteers.

I submitted a web request and received a call from someone I believe was Kevin. He was both professional and courteous. He gathered additional information about the car I was interested in and assured me he would follow up with the necessary details and a quote by the end of the business day. This call took place on 2nd May, but they did not reach out as promised. As time passed, I completely forgot about them and opted to visit a dealership that offered an excellent price on the car in question.
To my surprise, I received a call on 13th May from 360 vehicle leasing, who were calling to provide me with updates on quotes. Unfortunately, I had to let them know that I had already placed an order with the dealership. They were understanding and maintained a polite and friendly demeanour.
I would recommend this company to anyone in search of a car, as they do eventually get back to you, even if it takes days, unlike broker4cars, who promise to follow up but never do.

Established in 2012, Made in Bury are a local company who run the Made in Bury Business Academy, Ladies Brunch Club, Weekly £2,000 Draw and Interest Free Loans for Bury Start-ups.
Made in Bury have been a huge support for GEM since 2015 when we started the business. I was part of the very first Business Academy Cohort and I am an official supporter of the weekly £2000 draw - because I believe 100% in supporting local, and giving back to new and aspiring businesses. I've also won the draw once, which was an added bonus.
