Needed a hotel urgently and was told about this one. They did a fantastic Sunday night deal which we loved. Overall we had a great stay. Drinks and food were very well priced and rooms were the nicest I've stayed in for a long while. Certainly worth a stay.

Hotel is going through renovation in some rooms, but thats not visible at all. Stayed one night in the club/upper deck.Room #173 is the back building-a maze to get to though.Clean, comfy bed, spacious, nice coffee machine and complimentary water. One of those rooms where you wouldn't mind calling all day long in bed and watch TV. However, better signs needed for room directions on 1st floor by elevator so one doesn't wonder for 2 min looking for room as it turns out floor one in main building is actually not really floor one but two in the annex one. The BLACK banisters in the back building need a dusting - someone left a sign clean me - dust IS VISIBLE on black:) Good value for money and

Upgraded to a Club room, probably wouldn't do it again, it was nice but a bit to contemporary for me. Very good gym, plenty of equipment. Free Wifi, and plenty of parking. Pleasant stay, nice staff. Didn't get chance to eat there, so can't comment on the food.

Stayed here for business, room looked great and bed was spot on. Great looking hotel and facilities were all there for my needs. Nice, up to date hotel and room making it better than your average hotel/motel.

Amazing customer service from the check in to the pub and the check out. Would definitely recommend. It was busy as the reception with people u able to use the computers to check themselves in but staff coped well and were extremely polite and helpful. We watched the cup final in the pub and had drinks and food. Staff were polite and appeased all the customers however rowdy they tried to be. A little disturbance was coped with amazingly and removed with professionalism!
Would visit again

Paid twenty pounds for two burgers, which were lukewarm at best, some of the sides were freezing cold. Staff did there best to appease us, but if you can't get basic food right it's a poor do. Would stay again but wouldn't eat here

booked an upper deck room for a long weekend, the room was immaculate, very well fitted out and very modern, the king size bed was so comfortable, we had a great nights sleep. with the room access to the gym and dos was included, the hot tub was all we used which was very relaxing. we had a meal in brasserie, the menu carries a wide range for all tastes, the food was great and was served quickly even though they were pretty busy on the Saturday. from check in to check out, all the staff we had dealings with were friendly and helpful, who all put the customer first, will definitely be back 😀

One night stay for a break. Good and very clean. Staff all very helpful. Would visit again. We booked a larger room which had a nice view of the river from the window. Large tv with free sky. Was worth paying the extra for.

This hotel was really nice I was impressed with the rooms, the staff and everything about it.
I stayed overnight with my mum who is disabled and everything was there for her even a lovely walk in shower which we wasn't sure if she would have to strip wash as it would be a bath. The only thing was the bed was very high and it was a struggle, but on vacating I did ask if they had any rooms with lower beds and they said next time to ask for a disabled room - so we will do that, hopefully it will be of the same quality room wise.

First impressions count! On arrival at the hotel I went to the reception desk and after saying I wanted to check in was asked "Would you use this one here", and the lady pointed at a terminal on the desk. This was the worst welcome I had received at a hotel anywhere.
The room (Club room) was excellent and the bathroom was great. Not too fussed about a Nespresso machine rather than a kettle, but hey.

Visiting family in Manchester and stayed in this hotel. It was clean and great value for money. The leisure facilities were excellent. Location was perfect as it was just off motorway. I would dedicated book here again.

This was my second stay, initially attracted by the price and offers, but the hotel itself would draw me back as would the helpful and friendly staff. Excellent facilities, beautiful rooms and glorious food at the Verve Restaurant. Stayed at The Radisson Blue in Manchester and this was by far The Village was by far the better of the two.

automsted reception - whose idea was this? It's not Tesco or a cheap campanile in France !! It's a busy hotel with bars and a hotel and is supposed to offer guests service. The reference numbers didn't work as we used booking. Com so after a long journey we were trying to fumble through our mobiles with bags all over the floor. Eventually the receptionist ended her call and helped us. By that time I was upset and annoyed and felt pretty insulted as well. I have used this hotel many times over the years and always enjoyed it. It'd popular with hen weekends etc and themed parties do is always busy. However the rooms are lovely, the pub is great and the service is usually excellent at reception. The recptionist guided as towards these check ins which now dominate reception as she was on the phone but this is clearly the preferred method. it is impersonal and unfriendly and frankly annoying.

Lovely hotel, bar and leisure facilities. However sleep was disturbed and there was a tribute night on and all we could hear was loud music and girls laughing/screaming. Once this quietened down then we got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was only okay, sausages seemed a little cheap and couldn't get the toaster to work. However as a whole the pool, leisure facilities, room and pub made the experience very enjoyable. thank you

Hotel was OK but decor awful & dark. Staff nice but over expensive appliances not made up for sensible needs of guests - I.e. mirror had no light near by but TV was big enough to be the Odeon. Bathroom was so dark could hardly see. Lighting was poor.
