Great place to stay, however, none of the four USB ports worked. We reported on first day and they still didn’t work when we checked out after two nights. We were in room next to house keeping and it could be quite noisy, we wouldn’t want that room again. Staff are great and facilities are good.

Check in was great!
All automated and easy to check in.

Food was ok in the bar area.

Room was a let down.
Tired, wallpaper hanging off of the walls, hole in the wall under the wall lamp, standing lamp didn't work, tap in bathroom was lose at the joint and leaked when turned on.

My room, 116, needed renovating in my opinion for the price. Much nicer rooms and hotels in and around Manchester that warrant a £95 a night fee.

Also, don't forget to add car registration on booking or leaving. Has one of the parasite companies controlling the car park that are desperate to send you a fine through the post.

My opinion, avoid.

The room was very clean, but needed more lighting. Went for breakfast, it was dry and overcooked. I asked for a tray, I was given a dirty one.
On the whole we would stay again but not have breakfast.

This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The first time we visited the East Lancashire Railway, this time we had an event at the AO arena in Manchester. It’s a 7 minute drive into Bury. Park at the metro station and into Manchester.

Staff friendly and welcoming. Hotel is modern, the showers are great. The family room is spacious. Plenty of spaces in the car park. We will come back and stay here again.

Club rooms weren’t great and they are miles away at back of hotel. Little confusing. Generally nice place though.

Came to the gym recently and Tyler was a massive help. He shown me around the gym and was there for any extra help I required. Fantastic service from the gym team, will definitely recommend to others

The staff are great, they offer a consistent high level of service. Hygiene and health and safety practices are excellent. It is rare any facilities are out of use for example the sauna and poolside jacuzzi. The opening hours are good and I have recommended new members who are pleased too with their membership. Wonderful hotel, pub, been a number of times and always had a wonderful experience. The gym is well laid out and has everything you need for a good workout. The whole experience is always made better by the fantastic staff, always there and very helpful, specially a few staff in gym membership, Sophie and Max, always helpful, happy and a good chat. Thank 👌 😊 and keep up the good work

In general the hotel was what I've come to expect from village, clean curious and very well presented with attentive and helpful staff. 1 word of caution for this location if your an early night or have an early start, 1 wing of the rooms is directly above the bar area and is very noticeable until closing, just be mindful if you have an early night/start about which floor they put you on (we were first floor) and request to be moved to higher floor or the other side which staff were happy to accommodate. Thanks

Tired and late when we arrived. Lady on the desk did not know how to check us in so we had to do it ourselves via the machine
It was after 10pm we were very tired after travelling since early morning and visiting family we just wanted to go to bed. Arrive to our room window wide open and a freezing cold room we could not even take our coats off never mind get undressed for bed. Fortunately heating was working but not what we expected to have happened

Came here for Motown event on Thursday
Pro's: Room was spacious, staff pleasant and helpful. Music was good and artistic was great.
Negative: Two course meal especially the dessert was average. The drinks are beyond expensive £30 bottle of wine.

Myself and my family have just had an amazing stay at the village hotel this past weekend. Rooms was clean and fresh, and then you had the bed, out of this world. Huge, clean and spacious. Wish I could have took the bed home.
The complex was great. Everything you need for a great stay and more. Great bar with plenty of screens to watch the football.
Local to Bury town and the market.
The staff were very helpful with any help needed.
Breakfast was great.
We will definitely be returning.
