Not really the hotels fault but ended up paying for parking only to find out its free whilst staying at hotel.
Room clean and very comfy bed and goid pillows. Only critism would be that room looked a little tired

No air con to cool room in 30degree heat. Very warm in hall ways. Fan in room helped but was extremely loud.
No ice machines on floors.

We stayed for four nights visiting family and the area. Checkin is very impersonal as it is mostly self check-in, however a staff member did come along to assist but did not give us any information regarding breakfast times etc. The one lift at reception was out of order which meant us having to carry our luggage (12 days worth) as were travelling around up to the first floor, then along a long corridor. We were in a room that was not easily found right at the back of the hotel with very poor signs guiding you to your room. At the end of the corridor we had to go down two floors to reach our floor and no signage to reception which meant many guests getting lost. The room initially was impressive, vast space, massive bed with seating and all amenities, however, the carpet was very grubby and the bathroom needs a lot of attention, the toilet roll holder is missing off the wall and the back of the bathroom door coating is pulled out and water has penetrated the door which has now expanded due to the water which means the door will not close fully. When using the shower the water goes everywhere out of the shower tray which is probably where the door has been damaged from previous guests. The wall paper is also tired in areas. There is a great vibe in the hotel in the evening and there are lots of activities and entertainment on offer and a great tv/ movie area. Food in the evening was great, portion sizes were massive. Breakfast was impressive and well set out. The hotel is in a great location, just needs some tlc

Came to Bury to visit family for the bank holiday weekend. Our stay at The Village Hotel was absolutely lovely. Nice big room and bathroom with a huge very comfy bed. Spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We didn't eat at the hotel, as we were out most of the weekend. We had use of the gym and swimming pool included in the price we paid. We used the pool and sauna. Lovely size pool and very warm. The staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back.

The village gym is the best gym in bury, great facilities, friendly staff and the best sauna around!

The gym is also clean, well-equipped, and never feels overcrowded. Staff are friendly, professional, and always happy to help. The sauna is a perfect way to unwind after a workout clean, spacious, and very relaxing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top quality fitness and wellness environment!

Great place to stay, however, none of the four USB ports worked. We reported on first day and they still didn’t work when we checked out after two nights. We were in room next to house keeping and it could be quite noisy, we wouldn’t want that room again. Staff are great and facilities are good.
