The only thing worth going into Bolton for. Chippy tea and some beers after. The cleanest, tastiest, in fact writing this makes me want to go again. Delicious.

I arrived with a party of 32 people for the lunch and afternoon tea dance. What a pleasure this afternoon was.

On entering the restaurant you are greeted and made to feel welcome straight away. The staff even helped to remove coats. Where can you find this kind of attention these days?
The food was served quickly and the lunch was hot and obviously freshly prepared. After lunch the pianist played music to dance to and a good time was had by all. Afternoon tea was served with fresh scones jam and fresh cream along with a choice of tea or coffee.
If you are thinking of organising a group event this is ideal. Also great for lunch however many are in the party.

During many years, I have visited this place. Sometimes with frinds and sometimes with family or partner. Tassos and his "Crew" are always nice and quick to act on our wishes.
The fish I usually have is what I want and others, in my company, have ordered battered fish and chips and they have eqyally been satisfied.
The Pianoman makes it nice and relaxing.
I know here are Bus Tours, arranged by Tassos, but as I never have been on one, I cannot comment on that.

Great atmosphere after they renovated the decor. I admit I'm not much of a fish & chips fan but the fish still taste good. The chips were a bit soggy though so that could be improved. You get fish&chips, bread, and tea/coffee with the special. Its a good place to relax for lunch.
They should consider changing their ordering system so the elderlies won't need to stand in a queue to place their orders at the front. Sometimes the queue is too long when it gets busy.

Went with a colleague for lunch,I had heard about the place but never tried it, excellent menu, rapid service, good quality food, not cheap but decent value in a good setting, extremely busy busy venue which says a lot in its own right,

My 2 friends & I usually meet here for a spot of lunch & a catch up, we always enjoy it & it is nearly always very busy. The staff are all very friendly & helpful & make you feel welcome.

Well worth a visit, well organised attentive staff, good easy seating and excellent service, My wife and I love to visit and eat there especially the fish in spite of the high cost Highly recommended to all.

Some may say it's overpriced for fish and chips and they would be correct, however, it's more than just the food - as good as it is and it is really is first class, what stands out for me is the customer service, the door is opened for you as you enter and you are shown to your seat and made to feel really welcome. The food is always hot and presented nicely and I have never had a bad meal there. The decor and ambience is really special and the place is always full which is a sure sign they are doing something right.
All in all well worth the visit for good quality fish and chips, cooked to perfection with that extra touch of good old fashioned customer service.

From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted and shown to a seat by very friendly and attentitive staff. The restaurant is well laid out and very clean. The staff are very smartly dressed and very polite. The menu has a wide variety of food to choose from. The restaurant does the best fish and chips I have ever tasted 10/10. Give it a try I can highly recommend it.

I must say, I was expecting a lot more from Olympus however the good service received didn't match with the quality of the food.
All in all an average restaurant, but expect to pay inflated prices. My tip; get takeaway and pay lower prices.

Great atmosphere. Food good and fish fresh. Very clean facilities. Lovely staff, very well trained. Piano playing in the background, making it a very relaxing ambience after busy shopping.

If you're hungry get takeaway, the restaurants small plates are a bit of a joke, urging you to take a normal sized plate and sneak it in Alan Partridge style. Its fried potato in the main for flips sake, rather than lobster, so this looks really petty, and is a cheap trick imho given the eat in prices. This crockery has been there for years so its not a mistake! If youre not that hungry and fancy a sit down meal sometimes with piano, the restaurants atmosphere is superb. Despite my gripe I do go in sometimes for a light meal. Great service, almost too fussy, but given the premium of using the restaurant I can see why as it must be a goldmine.

Your always made to feel that you are the only customer that matters, from the moment when you are welcomed, to the moment you leave. The food is of the highest standard for what is fish restaurant. The decoration and ambience is first class and the background music supplied by a pianist playing the grand piano, just makes this fish restaurant place to have a traditional english meal of the highest quality.

the Olympus is a lovely place to visit. from the opening of the door the service is second to none. always a warm and friendly welcome from all the staff. guy on the piano is a nice touch. its nice to be treated as a special customer every time we visit, nothing is too much trouble and my friends and I would recommend a visit, you wont be disappointed!

Not your everyday fish and chip restaurant but the experience was fun. With the grand piano playing in the background and the waiter taking your coat it feels like another world that you've just walked into. You can't quite believed that you've just walked off the street. I enjoyed it as much as the food, which was good!

I have never been to a better fish and chip restaurant. The staff are welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The ambiance of the establishment is just lovely. Plenty of space between tables which is good. The food is excellent; portions good, variety good. Very much an upmarket fish and chippy! We go time and time again.

We go maybe once twice a month, they are simply the best for years on and off we have been here, it is big ,modern, grand piano on some days, and tea dance one day a week what more can you ask, with a take away next door

We often travel onto the town centre just to get a decent take out. Its so hard to find a decent chippy, and this is just that. Its no Harry Ramsden's, but the price isn't. Good value and always good food
