I visited Olympus fish and chips recently and their Olympus Just Enough was enough for me it was expensive at just over £7. The staff were courteous and were quick with the food and it was hot, you also got tea and bread and butter.

When your out for a days shopping this is a very good place to visit. Service is very good, the food is also good and the place is very clean.

On a trip from New Zealand found the restaurant after getting off the train at the nearby station.
From the second we walked in the service was first rate, efficient and as high a standard as I have ever seen. I actually saw the staff helping old ladies put on their coats on and walking them out of the building whilst carrying their bags for them.
The restaurant was spotlessly clean, with a nice decor and most importantly the food was quick, pipping hot and tasted fantastic. If I ever find myself in that part of the world again, I will be in there quick smart. It's almost worth getting back on a plane and heading over. Well worth a visit.

We always enjoy visiting here for the excellent fish and chips plus the excellent staff that fuss over you even help you on and off with your coat. Great atmosphere in the restaurant with a pianist - got to be the best around.

Lovely interior decor very professional, you get greeted and shown to your table, and even a helping hand with your coat when you are ready to leave. It makes a refreshing change for a customer to be treated like this.

This is a very popular restaurant predominantly fish & chips, although they do open early and cater to the breakfast customer,it is probably the best in town centre. We have been many times and tend to take it for granted, however it is better than that . Very comfortable setting. Most meals come complete with bread & butter, tea/coffee/fruit juice. Staff are always very smart and helpful. Specials available on most days and OAP's well catered for. An excellent restaurant, always spotless and also has a take away outlet at the side should you want to wander!

Live in Cheshire,and 4 of us were going to the Octagon Theatre for a Saturday evening show.

A very posh well decorated 'sit down' fish and chip restaurant.Good meal, reasonable portion - £8.60 for proper fish, chips, mushy peas, bread & butter and a pot of tea.That would easily be £11-12 at some gastro-pub,and probably not as good as this.
Quick friendly service.Noticed they were very courteous to two senior citizens with limited mobility and escorted them to their taxi.
Shuts at 7pm prompt, so fine for a 7.30m show at the Octagon 5 mins walk away.

I went with my mum (in her 80s) for lunch - we got there just before 12 and was amazed to see the restaurant already half full. We were welcomed to a table and ordered haddock and chips (with peas, bread and a cup of tea) for £6.80 each. It was delicious, freshly cooked and promptly served. All through the meal people were arriving - explained by the arrival of the pianist who proceeded to play for everyone. You have to visit if you are in the area!

I went to Olympus for lunch after being recommended, and it didn't disappoint. The staff was very friendly, helpful and gave an excellent service. The fish & chips was very good, probably one of the best I've had, and reasonably priced for the quality & quantity. The restaurant had a good family friendly atmosphere, and very clean. I would recommend Olympus for great British fish & chips at its best. I defiantly will be going back.

Super fish and chips - also recommend the Moussaka ! Standard is consistently good, pleasant surroundings and greatly improved with the addition of the conservatory part.. The family are always welcoming and ensure the staff are always pleasant and attentive as they are. A pleasant place to pop into the middle of town.

had a short wait for a table one very busy thursday lunchtime.the waiter escorted us to our table and helped my dad remove his coat.the service was fast and excellent considering the number of diners,the food was lovely and the tea piping hot.again as we left the staff helped my dad into his coat and helped him to the door. a lovely touch that makes you feel a litt;e unique and wanting to return again.

As the title says ' Best fish and chips by far! '. Food here is really good. Service is great and restaurant is kept tidy. You get quite a bit on your plate. And you surly do get what you pay for. Definitely recommended.

what can i say we went with a group of friends from a local club set menu fish & chips mushy peas food was the best i have ever had the staff are really nice after a walk round the market and shops we went back for afternoon cream tea lovely warm buttery scones jam fresh cream just what we wanted to end are lovely trip would we go again that would be a yes in fact am taking an over 50's club in june can't wait

Located in the centre of Bolton is a Greek-owned posh fish and chip restaurant - a real gem. Carpeted and well-furnished, elegant lights and a grand piano at which one of the area's finest and best-known pianists is a regular make this an exceptional place to eat fish and chips.
The menu is fairly static but offers plenty of choice. The food is good though portion control seems to be administered with a slide rule.
Service is top-notch. Beverages are served almost as soon as you're seated and when you leave, at least one waiter will be there to help you on with your coat and to hold the door open for you. Well worth a visit or two.

We love going here for lunch when we are in town. Delicious food, I like the breakfast but my husband likes fish chips and mushy peas. Very clean and great service. Sometimes there is a pianist.
