Room and bed was great. I can appreciate a nice hard pillow instead of the normal weak pillows you find at other places. The breakfast buffet was very comprehensive and delicious!

Hotel very dated and needs attention, drinks and menu overpriced and no vending machine in sight to get snacks, not even any biscuits in the room. On a positive note though, the staff are friendly and helpful, especially the lovely Irene from behind the bar, making our stay memorable and worthwhile

Julie looked after us during our conference and was incredibly attentive. She had a lovely friendly but professional approach

Nice hotel, showings it’s age in some places, but everywhere clean. We had a Privilege room, nice size, good bed linen, extremely nice house keeping, made our room every day, always with a smile early in the morning very polite.
We ate on Friday evening, Indian style dishes, and Humus with nan bread. Tasted delicious, well presented.
Sunday we ordered 3 afternoon tea’s for my mothers 88th birthday. The sandwiches was good, the patisserie ok, but the scones was more like stale rock cakes. We complained, but it was very correct and efficiently handled by the manager Ramzan, with the correct price reduction. We didn’t complain because we wanted a reduction, but Ramzan insisted, and we leave with a warm heart.
All the personnel are very polite and friendly.

Best part of the stay was the lovely staff member Irene from behind the bar, Who rescued this review in a positive way. So helpful. Hotel and rooms very dated and need an upgrade, expensive for food and drink, No vending machine for snacks, or biscuits in the room to have with coffee/tea. Lovely location though

Very happy with the hotel, room clean and comfortable, beautiful views, staff all helpful especially Irene from behind the bar, who went above and beyond,every hotel needs an Irene .only thing to improve is a packet of biscuits to have with a brew after a long journey would be nice .

Wonderful Location And View Of Rivington Especially While The Weather Was Nice. Excellent Bar Staff Irene And Katie. New Selection Of Drinks On Offer On The Bar Tried A Camden Pale Ale For The First Time Presently Surprised. Plenty Of Food On Offer On The Menu Would Definitely Recommend.

The room was really clean i was upgraded to to a super room best nights sleep in ages and one of the staff was really pleasant she looked after me ask for Irene she’s happy to help 100% the location is great on the greener edges of Bolton the air quality around there is superior and atmosphere having my morning coffee at the bar with the soothing music on was perfect what a way to start the day
