Stayed 2 nights in a standard room on 2nd floor. Room and bathroom were very clean but tired, and in need of an update. Looked as though shower unit had been replaced recently which was good.
Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and hot buffet constantly being refreshed. Downside was entire hotel seemed extremely hot especially the dining room making it unpleasant at breakfast time. Room so hot at night had to leave window open, but then had to suffer extremely loud extraction fans outside.
Overall stay was OK but Mercure need to upgrade entire hotel soon.

Julie has looked after us on the first aid training with biscuits, spoons and coffee when the machine ran out of it!

Had my wedding on Saturday and Rochelle and all the team where simply amazing great value for money the room was beautiful exceeded our expectations they went above and beyond

The hotel rooms could do with updating but were clean and had all amenities. The staff were extremely friendly particularly at the bar/restaurant. Irene went above and beyond to help me and my family, she made us feel extremely welcome.

We stayed here overnight, it was excellent value for money, the rooms were really comfortable and spacious. We loved the brasserie, it had such a calm and relaxing atmosphere about it. The person who served our breakfast this morning really does deserve a special mention. Her name was Irene and she was so friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us and that we’d enjoyed our stay. What a lovely lady! We shall certainly be back!

I have been to this Hotel many times. The Staff are helpful. Specially Ramzan Hotel Manager. He is very helpful. We was very confused with places to visit in Bolton but he guide us, Loved the location he recommend us and atmosphere. He is very friendly. Keep it up with good work Ramzan. Hopefully, see you soon on our next visit
