I was attending a training course and would like to give a big thank you to Julie who made sure I had wonderful gluten free snacks. She was also very help with other to issues I needed help with. She was very friendly and always had a smile.

Great hotel, decor can be a little dated in rooms but always clean. Comfy beds, hot showers, beautiful countryside views. Staff are always polite and on hand when needed. Gem (receptionist) very helpful and always greets you with big smile. Access to gym facilities whilst staying a bonus (although I haven’t used it’s good to know they are there)

Family room needs more plug sockets as not all devices could be charged
Breakfast is good with Lydia being one of the most polite & helpful members of staff I have encountered in any hotel I’ve stayed in & I stay away every week for work

Parts of the hotel, especially in the room and in the restaurant, we're looking quite tired.
Loo roll extremely cheap, which, in my opinion leaves room for thought of what else has been skimped on.

Went for afternoon tea with my husband and was served by Irene, the cakes and sandwiches were very well presented and fresh. Irene was very attentive, friendly and made our experience very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend. Ended up taking cakes home.

A great place to stay, with friendly and helpful staff. Love the fact that this hotel still has baths! We have stayed twice after long haul flights, and soaking in a warm bubble bath was bliss!

Amazing experience staff so friendly with helping with any enquiries, Abi was on the bar and helped my boyfriend with all the drinks and recommendations and took the time to explain all the drinks, most places don’t put in the time to do this but she went above and beyond to do so, the best place with the best staff :)

Welcome greeting on arrival, rooms spacious and very clean, bar and food service was outstanding, only one barman/waiter Ryan but he worked harder than 3 men, great location for the job we were working on, would recommend.
