We have been three times to LastDrop and every time we look around for somewhere else we always end up coming back to LastDrop as the price an overall stay is unbeatable!! Rooms are cosy and comfy. We’ve had food in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet 3 different occasions and loved it every time!! The menu for the restaurant changes all the time which is nice because it means you get a taste of d something different every time. The spa you book a time slot in which doesn’t seem great but actually ensures it isn’t too busy! The thermal pool is a dream, the pool is great and my boyfriend loves the saunas. Welcoming and homey atmosphere, always recommend to our family& friends because the price for the value of things that you get from this place is amazing! We will definitely be booking in for a fourth time no doubt!!

Nice place to stay, spoiled by all the new large homes surrounding the property.

Overall, a fab stay.
Perfectly acceptable room
Glad i stayed here and made good use of the facilities.
The food in the restaurant was perfect and cooked brilliantly. Not sure that i can write the minimum 200 characters that the review demands of me. I think that the few words that i had written summed it up perfectly

Went for a spa day. Staff were really friendly. Had Leeanne for a back massage and facial. Really informative session about skin products I should use for my skin and a great deep tissue massage! Leeanne is professional and friendly- I would request her when booking in future.

The spa itself had everything you need. Changing rooms are a bit dated and tired but apart from that, had a great day.

First time here and it was amazing. Good wedding venue. There are small shops and a bar, great village to walk around, would be alot better in the summer. Standard of the rooms were good. For us the reception staff were none attentive. The lady that was booking us in was still dealing witha problem from guests that arrived before us. I thought this was rude as it took twice as long to get booked. There were no smiles or welcoming greeting. Still a great place.

Firstly, I would advise booking through the Last Drop website and signing up to the Friends of the Last Drop membership (email only required) for some really worthwhile benefits.
In our booking notes we mentioned we were staying for an anniversary and requested a bath. The staff left us a small dessert with 'Happy Anniversary' written in chocolate which was really kind of them.
We had a couple of problems during our stay. Some affected us more than others.
1. We paid extra for bath robes which were not there on arrival. A quick phone call and they were brought up to us. This was well handled by housekeeping.
2. The thermal pool was only functioning at 50% which was quite disappointing as this is their spa's main attraction. The staff politely mentioned this in advance but still it was a shame.
3. I tried to call room service on two separate occasions to order some drinks at around 5pm but nobody answered. Note that this was on a very quiet Monday.

Aside from these issues, we had a very relaxing time in the spa and the dinner service was really good.
The breakfast left a lot to be desired in comparison to the price of £17.50pp

Overall, the stay was good value for money. Staff were pleasant, dinner was good. Rooms were a little dated but had everything you needed. Due to the shortfalls, I wouldn't stay again.

Last Drop Weekend Stay Review The thermal pool and breakfast were a hit for sure! Navigating your rooms could be tricky. Had an instance where a guest was struggling to find their room. We were lucky ours wasn't so complicated and pretty straightforward to get to. Maybe a map app and/or better visual signs to show guests how to get to their rooms? That could be extremely helpful.

Went for an afternoon tea experience with my partner for our anniversary. It was awesome, lovely views, excellent customer service, gorgeous views and magnificent food and drink. The only thing for us that let our experience down was that we didn't have the opportunity to stay the night (due to other commitments) to enjoy the full variety of things that this place has to offer. Oh well there is always next time, we look forward to booking with you again soon.

We use this hotel a couple of times per year, or last trip was not great but sorted it out with the hotel. This trip has been fabulous, nice relaxing in the spa, and it was not so busy so we were able to relax properly. Breakfast was good and well stocked ( everything was replenished frequently) and the breakfast room was nice and clean. Our bedroom was clean with plenty of towels and the facilities plentiful. Bar service was good and clean. All the staff helpful and recognised us as we appeared, great to be remembered
Thank you last drop

Nice Relaxing Stay, Helpful & Friendly Staff Room was excellent and spacious bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle. Breakfast lovely and the staff in the restaurant, bar and reception very helpful and polite during our stay. We used the SPA on one occasion early evening and enjoyed the facilities which were very clean and relaxing. We will look to return next year ! Sadly the shower head old and when you moved it the plastic surround came off but easily clicked back in place, another recommendation would be to put some kind of shelf in the cubicle for soap, shampoo etc.....shower seemed older than the rest of the bathroom ? Another small comment would be to consider providing a toilet brush, just enables guests to keep everything lovely when other guests join you in your rooms lounge area. Did have an issue with the TV remote but reception solved eventually but took 2 nights

This is a fantastic hotel with beautiful surroundings had a slight problem with the room but unfortunately by tge time we noticed the problem it was to late to change the room but this wouldn't put us off staying at this hotel again in the near future.

Stayed one night in their standard double room with dinner, and breakfast.
The room was immaculate, with plenty of storage and the usual tea/coffee making facilities. Bed was clean and comfortable and bathroom was also spotless.
Vegan dinner and breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant staff were very attentive. All staff from restaurant, to bar and reception were very friendly.

Just returned from 2 nights at the Hotel. No change on how we feel about this hotel… everything perfect. (A few little things… showers in spa not great, room service still could improve), but, this time we had a treatment… absolutely five star! Staff are a great team, very friendly and helpful. Really hope this hotel is here to stay (not lost to developers)…..this is an Update from last years review…..What a place!!! Had an overnight package deal and what a deal! Spa facilities, 2 course meal and overnight accommodation. Everything about this was perfect! Staff are so friendly and accommodating, the food was amazing and the spa was everything that you need. Would have given the five stars, but for a few negative (more housekeeping) but on the whole, will definitely be coming again. Must say though, the panoramic views are at the back now and not when you are in the infinity pool (looks over houses now) but still a great place.

Enjoyable and comfortable stay. Our room was dog friendly, spacious, well equipped and exceptionally clean. The bed was huge and very comfortable with crisp white linen. The room was warm with good heating control. Would definitely stay again. Had brunch in the Courtyard. It was a basic full English but was tepid with very cold tinned mushrooms. Probably won't go back for brunch in the future.

I was expecting g a little more countryside, but you have to drive through a new housing estate to get to the hotel.
Beautiful reception, good reception staff.
Executive room booked but was below par, the block was dated, the decor and carpets needed updating.
Carpet in the room was grubby, thick layer of dust in the trouser press which didn’t work (there was an iron and ironing board though)
Some plastic left on the floor upon arrival.
Bath was basic (nothing special)
Nice espa products in the room.
Dressing gowns were old and tatty.
Spa was nice, but outdoor hydro pool overlooks car park and housing estate. changing rooms were dated and needed renovating (felt like a public swimming baths)
Food was excellent.
Nice ambitious in bar. I wouldn’t book again, maybe out room was more dated than other reviews
