Loved this place. The room was large and well presented. The spa was great. Lots of different steam and sauna choices and a pool too. The hot pool actually opened up into the outdoors and was a great feature. Food was lovely in the evening and the buffet breakfast was excellent with tons of choice. The staff were really helpful and went out of their way to help. Will definitely be going back.

A beautiful hotel with fantastic spa facilities. The place is family friendly with clean changing rooms including family rooms with large lockers for safety. The spa also provides floats and armbands for the little ones.
I extremely loved the aromatherapy room and the hydro pool which then leads outdoors! Nothing like a relaxing soak with a breath of fresh air! The swimming pool is family friendly and they have the left side of the pool specifically for families so no one can get in the way of the children/babies. My children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and did not want to leave. Fresh towels are also provided.
I will definitely be booking a stay aswell next time I visit again. We also went for a walk at the little village at the back of the hotel. A wonderful toy shop, tea room, Pottery store and much more! Parking is also fantastic, big and lots of space!
I cant wait to visit again!

Beautiful space with fabulous staff. The history is there and complemented by the modern spa. The best bit though are the staff. Thank you Izabel, Mia and Gerry to name but a few. I always feel so welcome and valued. If you enjoy feeling special, go to the Last Drop. Marie Born

Was a good chilled out break for the evening, decent food, wasn't best please with the sausage at breakfast, room was nice, could do with a better clean as there was a few areas missed and dusty if i was being picky, overall was a nice evening. £179 for the night in a cottage room with ×2 3 course evening meal and x2 Breakfast, wine on welcome and £10 voucher off your first drinks or food or spa session, very good value for money

The biggest is on this trip was the room keys. I was in a first floor room, stairs, no lift. Every day I went back to my room after being at work the Key card did not work so had to traipse all the way back to Reception to get the key re-programmed. Seems trivial but after long day on site it's annoying (3 days on the spin). The Pool and the Heat room is great, Bed comfortable, Staff are friendly.

Lovely spa break with friends. Returning visit we loved it so much years ago, unfortunately the spectacular views over open countryside have been ruined by a housing development. Breakfast was amazing and staff very helpful.

Spa was relaxing, comfortable and contained several aspects to it . The hydrotherapy pool was my favourite, includes an outdoor section with under water jets. A good sized swimming pool and a drinking water fountain. We had to pay extra for our robes, disappointin as this was a spa break. The food in the Courtyard restaurant was exceptional.

Stayed with a friend to have a relaxing birthday weekend away. We had an executive double room and it was lovely.

We paid the extra for the 3 courses to be included in the courtyard restaurant and the food was good quality. The staff at the hotel where friendly and helpful.

Just a few niggles about the place i would change if i was to go again.

Found that the executive room we stayed in was lovely it was a shame that the view from the room has now been blocked by the new houses which was a shame as the view from the room and the spa is now spoiled and all that can be seen is a car park and the houses and building site.

We ordered breakfast delivered to our room and filled the form in left in our room with an £8 tray charge which was fine.

The morning the breakfast was due to be delivered we got a call from room service to say that the wrong form had been left in our room it was an old one and the charge was now £8 per person not per tray.

When the breakfast came it was missing items (a lot of them) so he went back to get the other items but twenty minutes passed and our breakfast was cold, so we had to send it back. It came back a second time and it had clearly been microwaved to warm up and item taken off we had before. the food was like rubber now it had been warmed up. It was a shame as there were quality ingredients on the plate too but these were spoiled. To say breakfast was included in our price and we paid £16 extra for the pleasure to have this in our room but it wasn't a pleasure unfortunately.

Also no salt and pepper, sugar and milk to go with our drinks so we couldn't drink them and no napkins. It was a shame as the young boy serving us was lovely and a credit to the hotel but the kitchen let it down.

The spa was totally over crowded and i think time slots would benefit for here as it was so busy and noisy and not relaxing at all.

This wouldn't stop me going again i just wouldn't order room service and i would recommend going to the spa after 6 pm when it is a bit quieter.

Comfy beds. Couple of the rooms in the spa wasn't working. Good breakfast. Good size room once upgraded. Very clean room. Good service from the staff at the bar. Shame they have started to build houses on the site. Takes away the view. Plenty of places to park.

I felt the carpets needed a good clean or replacement but understand the difficult times all hospitality has faced. The bedroom was clean and warm. The bedding and bed were very comfortable. Evening meal and breakfast very nice. All staff, reception, bar, restaurant and spa very pleasant and helpful.

Visited for an offer for NHS staff and key workers. £99 for spa access, 2 course dinner, room for the night and breakfast!
First of all it's an absolute bargain! Excellent for the money we paid.
Spa - hydrotherapy pool, saunas and steams and a swimming pool. All fantastic. Take flip flops, and not all rooms include a dressing gown, so double check before you go. We didn't book any treatments, but that's a personal preference.
2 course evening meal - food was lovely, set menu. Not a huge choice but something for everyone. Paid a £10.95 supplement for steak, which was fair and was delish! Only downside to dinner and why my review has 4 stars was the service. Super slow. Tables seated after us were served before us. We had to ask to order and had to query where our drinks were.
Room for the night - classic room, basic with everything you need. Shower was amazing. Pillows were a bit tough, but again personal preference.
Breakfast - cold and hot buffets. Self serve. No complaints apart from the lack of a hash brown.
All in all a fab stay and would definitely recommend for a cheap get away!

Clean, friendly staff, lovely setting in the hotel, great food. Would return but be wary of extra charges and busy/q The room was very clean and presentable. The three course meal in the courtyard restaurant was lovely, great portions, tasty quality food. The setting of the hotel with the little shops and courtyard rooms was nice also. the staff were very friendly and approachable and helpful. The building site that unfortunately has taken away the lovely view from the spa and the executive rooms which we stayed in and was a focal point for that hotel and its position it was a shame to see a building site and new houses which have taken that away. Also we paid for breakfast in the room and when it came it was cold and half of the order missing so waited 20 minutes for the rest of the order but we had to send it back as it was cold and half the order missing to then to receive it (second time round) and it had been microwaved and wrapped in tin foil! (paid an extra £16) for room service as a treat and items missing, no salt and pepper or napkins , cold food (second time round was microwaved and like rubber) which was a shame because they were quality ingredients too, no sugar or milk for hot drinks. Prices for the spa treatments were very expensive also, maybe some value packages would benefit. The spa and thermal suite was extremely busy, very over crowded and not relaxing.
