The service was terrible, staff on reception didn't greet us, our rooms weren't ready upon check in, the rooms were dusty, the housing estate opposite has ruined the view. There was an argument in the courtyard and couples having loud sex above us. The money for the spa treatments is outrageous, I had a half finished massage and my partners massager spent the whole time complaining about her boyfriend in Wales. I was sent an email from a lady at reception telling me I hadn't paid for my room and when I went to ask about it she pretended she never sent it, even though her name was signed at the bottom.
We asked over 5 times for tap water at dinner and the young server never brought it out, drinks were half finished, we were told the wrong booking time for dinner and our desserts were served stone cold when they are supposed to be warm.

Very good value. A valentine weekend was enjoyed by both of us, Spa very good but a jacuzzi with lots of bubbles would be ideal. The pool is very good, as are all the Sauna rooms and the experience was superb

Great hotel ruined by small issues not resolved well. Hotel looks amazing and the staff were lovely. The spa and restaurant were amazing. If they had comfy pillows I would definitely come back. In our shower there was mould, the pillows were extra firm so I barley slept a wink. We did complain about the mould and we were offered 25% off our food bill. This didn't even cover the cost of upgrading to an executive room I wasn't that happy with the resolution there which is a shame as it put a massive negative on what otherwise would have been a great stay.

Nice room but remote control for tv missing and duvet too small for bed. Both problems sorted quickly but should have been picked up before we booked in.

Fantastic value for money, great food, spa and overnight stay. Really enjoyed the whole experience. We will definitely be returning to the Last Drop Village. Cups for water would be an added bonus in the spa.

Wonderful value for money, the spa is amazing and you get that included with the brilliant price as well as breakfast on some deals which is also to an excellent standard. Everything ran smoothly and we loved our stay very much, would definitely recommend.

good but could have been better friendly staff, nice food th radiator in the room wouldn’t turn down so we where roasting through the night. spa treatments should be given availability to guests who are staying overnight or at least leave some treatments available for guests. when you stay at a spa resort you expect to be able to have spa treatments.

A lovely get away - the food is really good quality, staff friendly. The swimming pool is lovely but the spa area where you can go outside is rather outdated. The rooms were above expectations. The breakfast was a great quality and higher choice then usual if you like the buffet menu rather than the fried breakfast as I do, a variety of cheese, salami's, croissants, pastries, fruits etc.

Good The spa was lovely and the food in the bar & breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the bartender in the Last Drop Inn, who was really friendly. We stayed in one of the rooms outside of the hotel which we liked however the carpets looked quite worn and was pulled up in one of the corners. Other than that, the bed was comfortable and bathroom/shower were great

Very good I have stayed here a few times due to its lication I was a little surprised with my room as I booked a classic cottage double room, the photos on the site for this room showed garden views. I ended up in a room upstairs in a building, one of 3 rooms with views of a car park.

Good The breakfast was the highlight of our stay with plenty of choice and it was all delicious. We asked shortly after checking in for extra towels as only 3 had been left in our room for 4 guests. Unfortunately no towel was brought to our room in the time we stayed. My little girl ended up having to use a hand towel to dry after her shower.

We stayed overnight on the the Keyworker Thank You package. It is a beautiful place! The spa is wonderful - the outdoor hydrotherapy pool is an added treat! Our room was lovely and set in what seemed to be a converted stable outside. Very quirky and unique. We enjoyed a little walk around the ‘village’ and a nosy in the shops, finishing off in their traditional pub. Finally, the food is amazing! We had the most delicious evening meal followed by a fabulous breakfast the next morning. Couldn’t recommend enough! We will be back. Thank you!

Stayed here many times and was so looking forward to returning for a special treat.
Very disappointed this time..
Building new homes at the front of the spa abs looks like a building site.. not what you want to see when I’m the hotel or the spa.
The pub that usually serves Sunday Carvery but us stopped was cold dirty and uninviting.
The toilets were a disgrace.
The lovely warm welcome was lacking too

Great facilities and great food. Helpful and friendly staff too. The Spa had everything you want and it was a relaxing stay. There was nothing really to fault this visit although the pillows were rock hard for us although I appreciate this is personal choice.

we have stayed at last drop before as they always had deals on. The thing that kept us coming back was the outdoor pool that overlooked fields and really made you feel at calm. In all honestly we wouldn’t move from the pool for the hours we were in there as it made you feel so calm. We returned on the key workers deal which was a great deal and we were coming for Valentine’s Day. When we drove up we noticed it looked like a building was going on close by. Only when we got closer we realised that the once lovely view had become a building site. We didn’t let it spoil it and got into the outdoor pool and only then you realise how close it all is. The once relaxing area was replaced with trucks, delivery vans and workmen. Even when all the building work is done I couldn’t help think you would then be looking straight into peoples front rooms. I could even see the coach in the show room and all the furnishings and that was one of the further away houses. The hotel itself we enjoyed. There was a mix up with the package we were on so there was a complimentary bottle of champagne given. The restaurant was busy but the staff were working so hard. The wait for someone to take our dessert order was a little long but I didn’t expect to come out on valentines and get perfect service. The lovely waiter then knocked the puddings of the bill for the wait that was really kind. Room was clean a little tiered in the bathroom but clean. Breakfast was nice. Honestly unless there was another good deal I would pick another hotel for a spa break as that relaxing feel has gone to the spa.

I honestly don't know where to start with this review.....we got engaged just before COVID struck and started excitedly planning, we checked out numerous venues but the minute we visited Last Drop we knew this was our dream venue. It was unique, quirky with amazing views and had such a romantic feel that it was our number one. We booked in to meet with Liz the wedding co-ordinator and we instantly fell in love with her. She was passionate and professional, there was no hard sell and she took the time to understand what we wanted for OUR day and tailored things exactly as we wanted them.

It was clear that to her we were not just "another couple on the wedding conveyor belt" and that she actually cared, she invested in our wedding plans and preperations. She offered advice, suggestions and nothing was ever too much trouble.

COVID struck and we were devastated but Liz then became our rock, we were as nervous and anxious as many couples across the country were with each of Boris Johnsons news conferences, however Liz never visibly shared these concerns. She was pragmatic and flexible despite spinning a huge number of weddings / couples, she was always on hand when we wanted a moan or a query. She was quick to get our new date secured and yet again went above and beyond.

Eventually our wedding week came and it was devestating for non-wedding related reasons. But whilst our thoughts were elsewhere, Liz took the reigns. She knew absolutely everything about our day so whilst we were distracted she filled in and helped with so many of the finishing touches. She was reassuring and incredibly accommodating.

The day itself was even more special than either Lisa or I could have imagined. Liz was there which made it even more special, 2 years in the planning had culminated in the most wonderful day. Nasser the master of ceremonies was a credit and clearly Liz had filled him in with every last detail. The day ran like absolute clockwork and is a memory we will never forget.

I am still waiting for my Lemon drizzle cake that Liz promised to bake me though haha.

In all seriousness, the venue is so incredibly romantic and the team are absolutely wonderful. They genuinely care about your day and you can trust them with absolutely everything to make your day the day of your dreams. We forged a relationship with Liz that we will undoubtedly carry on by nipping up for a brew in the future, we never felt like simply "a couple getting married".
