Very good I have stayed here a few times due to its lication I was a little surprised with my room as I booked a classic cottage double room, the photos on the site for this room showed garden views. I ended up in a room upstairs in a building, one of 3 rooms with views of a car park.

Good The breakfast was the highlight of our stay with plenty of choice and it was all delicious. We asked shortly after checking in for extra towels as only 3 had been left in our room for 4 guests. Unfortunately no towel was brought to our room in the time we stayed. My little girl ended up having to use a hand towel to dry after her shower.

We stayed overnight on the the Keyworker Thank You package. It is a beautiful place! The spa is wonderful - the outdoor hydrotherapy pool is an added treat! Our room was lovely and set in what seemed to be a converted stable outside. Very quirky and unique. We enjoyed a little walk around the ‘village’ and a nosy in the shops, finishing off in their traditional pub. Finally, the food is amazing! We had the most delicious evening meal followed by a fabulous breakfast the next morning. Couldn’t recommend enough! We will be back. Thank you!

Stayed here many times and was so looking forward to returning for a special treat.
Very disappointed this time..
Building new homes at the front of the spa abs looks like a building site.. not what you want to see when I’m the hotel or the spa.
The pub that usually serves Sunday Carvery but us stopped was cold dirty and uninviting.
The toilets were a disgrace.
The lovely warm welcome was lacking too

Great facilities and great food. Helpful and friendly staff too. The Spa had everything you want and it was a relaxing stay. There was nothing really to fault this visit although the pillows were rock hard for us although I appreciate this is personal choice.

we have stayed at last drop before as they always had deals on. The thing that kept us coming back was the outdoor pool that overlooked fields and really made you feel at calm. In all honestly we wouldn’t move from the pool for the hours we were in there as it made you feel so calm. We returned on the key workers deal which was a great deal and we were coming for Valentine’s Day. When we drove up we noticed it looked like a building was going on close by. Only when we got closer we realised that the once lovely view had become a building site. We didn’t let it spoil it and got into the outdoor pool and only then you realise how close it all is. The once relaxing area was replaced with trucks, delivery vans and workmen. Even when all the building work is done I couldn’t help think you would then be looking straight into peoples front rooms. I could even see the coach in the show room and all the furnishings and that was one of the further away houses. The hotel itself we enjoyed. There was a mix up with the package we were on so there was a complimentary bottle of champagne given. The restaurant was busy but the staff were working so hard. The wait for someone to take our dessert order was a little long but I didn’t expect to come out on valentines and get perfect service. The lovely waiter then knocked the puddings of the bill for the wait that was really kind. Room was clean a little tiered in the bathroom but clean. Breakfast was nice. Honestly unless there was another good deal I would pick another hotel for a spa break as that relaxing feel has gone to the spa.

I honestly don't know where to start with this review.....we got engaged just before COVID struck and started excitedly planning, we checked out numerous venues but the minute we visited Last Drop we knew this was our dream venue. It was unique, quirky with amazing views and had such a romantic feel that it was our number one. We booked in to meet with Liz the wedding co-ordinator and we instantly fell in love with her. She was passionate and professional, there was no hard sell and she took the time to understand what we wanted for OUR day and tailored things exactly as we wanted them.

It was clear that to her we were not just "another couple on the wedding conveyor belt" and that she actually cared, she invested in our wedding plans and preperations. She offered advice, suggestions and nothing was ever too much trouble.

COVID struck and we were devastated but Liz then became our rock, we were as nervous and anxious as many couples across the country were with each of Boris Johnsons news conferences, however Liz never visibly shared these concerns. She was pragmatic and flexible despite spinning a huge number of weddings / couples, she was always on hand when we wanted a moan or a query. She was quick to get our new date secured and yet again went above and beyond.

Eventually our wedding week came and it was devestating for non-wedding related reasons. But whilst our thoughts were elsewhere, Liz took the reigns. She knew absolutely everything about our day so whilst we were distracted she filled in and helped with so many of the finishing touches. She was reassuring and incredibly accommodating.

The day itself was even more special than either Lisa or I could have imagined. Liz was there which made it even more special, 2 years in the planning had culminated in the most wonderful day. Nasser the master of ceremonies was a credit and clearly Liz had filled him in with every last detail. The day ran like absolute clockwork and is a memory we will never forget.

I am still waiting for my Lemon drizzle cake that Liz promised to bake me though haha.

In all seriousness, the venue is so incredibly romantic and the team are absolutely wonderful. They genuinely care about your day and you can trust them with absolutely everything to make your day the day of your dreams. We forged a relationship with Liz that we will undoubtedly carry on by nipping up for a brew in the future, we never felt like simply "a couple getting married".

We booked a room for the night (executive suite) and no where does it say we can't use the facilities until we check in and you can't check in until 2pm. So a total waste of the morning really and not a full day 'spa'.
Won't be going again due to this as it wasn't worth it.

Nice I would like to visit and be able to use faculties more at some point I like how clean and well presented the front of your was and the shower was great! The room was dated and we could not use the thermal spa which is the reason we booked because it was over crowded to the point of people touching and in the indoor pool it was hard to relax with partner as it was full of children. A half naked guy in a towel and slider made a pass at my girlfriend just as we’d come done to go for our valentines meal too we really did not expect this but staff may remember him as he significantly parked his sports car next to the front entrance where there was not a sports car and on this date (Valentine’s Day) he was the only man alone me and my partner noticed but anyway if staff do recall this guy keep an eye out! We also seen him the next morning and he out his head down so we thought maybe he realised he was inappropriate but he in fact just waiting until we got to the bottom of the car park to leave and came out and whistled antagonisingly. It kinda did ruin the whole feel of our looked forward to trip to enjoy each other

Perfectly accessible for non drivers and a lovely building. Excellent breakfast. As a historic building owner when I asked about the hsitory of the structure one of the staff printed off an information sheet and another was quyite indulgent on querstions. Room was rather cold. I appreciate that this was connected with leaving windows open because of the pandemic and the miderable weather, both of which were rather outside the hotel's control!

The only thing I can fault about my stay is the unwelcoming member of staff at the front desk on arrival. However, we had a clean room, access to amazing spa/wellness facilities, beautiful food and even better food service (very quick too). Such good value for money. Thank you so much!

Booked an overnight stay here Saturday through to Sunday. Very impressive spa facilities including a fantastic massage by Samantha ( thank you )
The room was very clean and had everything you need for an overnight stay
Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful
Our 3 course meal in the restaurant was beautiful and good value
Breakfast the same
Very attentive restaurant staff, we didn’t have to wait for anything and they are clearly being trained very well.
Would like to say that the hotel manager, Gerry was walking around the restaurant at breakfast and asking guests how their stay was as well as chatting to us
Very impressed with the customer service here and he said goodbye to us as we were leaving
We made it back to York on Sunday feeling very happy

I’d booked this originally just for the night with spa access as a birthday present and saw the valentines ball as an extra and decided to book that too. We arrived an hour before check in, the receptionist was lovely and told us our room was ready which was a bonus! The rooms were immaculate the bar downstairs lovely and the bar staff very friendly. The spa is amazing! Again, staff so lovely and helpful.
For the valentines ball it said to arrive by 7pm, we weren’t seated until 7:45pm which meant a lot of couples congregating in a small area with minimal seating. This was my only gripe as the food was incredible! The singer was also brilliant and created a really romantic atmosphere.

The breakfast was incredible!! We knew the food standard was going to be good as the meal the night before was amazing. Everything runs like clockwork all staff know what they’re doing and where to be they really are a credit to the hotel!

We will definitely be returning!

Overall great experience. Rooms were a decent size and beds were comfy. Nice sized bathroom although we did find it a little cold. Plenty of hot water and shelf space to put your things in bathroom. Good sized towels provided. Rooms were nice and dark once curtains shut and got good nights sleep.

Enjoyable night I would stay again Hydro pool and the pool area a was really good Bar and pub at the top of the village were really nice very nice staff, very clean, very convenient little village And loads of available parking spaces everything is very well put together Room could have been a better standard for the price The alcohol was really expensive for what your getting, bar near reception could have had a little bit of music playing in the background would make a big difference as the atmosphere isn’t the best as you can only hear everyone’s conversation,

We originally booked our wedding for September 2020, then march 2021 and finally January 2022. The last drop - especially Liz were amazing from start to finish. Liz was so accommodating throughout covid and the cancellations of our day.
Liz couldn’t do enough for us and everything we asked for she tried her absolute best to do it!
Even on days where Liz wasn’t in, I would get a reply to emails or phone calls.
Jacqueline was also super helpful when Liz wasn’t available.
On the lead up to our wedding- we arrived on the Friday to set up the room - we were lucky enough it was empty the day before!
Nasir (I hope that’s how you spell his name) was so helpful until Stu arrived even though he was setting up the other room for another wedding! He kept popping back to check if we needed anything!
All day Liz and Jacqueline popped in to see how we were getting on which was lovely.
Now for Stu!!! HE WAS AMAZING!! There is so much we could say about him! There was literally nothing this guy couldn’t do for us! Nothing was too much. The day ran like clockwork! His staff were so attentive with smiles all day long.
Our little page boy is super funny about food so we were able to bring our own for him but I forgot to order ice cream as his dessert, I asked whilst having our main course and of course Stu had already sorted it.
There was absolutely nothing to stress about as he had it all under control!
Gerry the general manager even used his own car to take us over to the room we were getting married in as the weather wasn’t great.

All in all we couldn’t recommend the last drop and all of the staff enough.
Thank you all for everything you did and for helping make our day so special!
