We stayed at the Last Drop from 24th Feb 22 for the weekend for my sons wedding. I can say from the initial planning to the actual day and beyond we couldnt have had a better celebration. Jacqueline our Wedding Co ordinator was amazing, nothing was too much trouble ... ever ! The happy couple were surprised throughout the day and Jacqueline was like a secret agent organising behind the scenes. On the day Nasser our Master of Ceremonies kept the guests in order with a smile. All the staff were just fabulous and a shout out to Stuart who manned the bar with a smile all through the day and night. The food was just sooo good.A wonderful celebration where memories were made forever. Thank you xx

The place is modern, clean and comfortable. Suitable for all ages Executive room was a good size and bed was really comfortable with a nice selection of teas and coffee. Breakfast was a great selection of hot and cold foods. Spa facilities amazing! Will definitely return.

We purchased the winter extravaganza deal which included an over night stay, 2 course meal, breakfast and spa access. The hotel and staff are lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. The spa is kept spotless and the facilities are excellent, the infinity pool is like climbing into a hot bath. The normal pool is kept at a nice temperature. The sauna and steam rooms are well kept. The food at night was well presented and very tasty, staff were friendly, polite and efficient, breakfast was amazing with continental and full English. The room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend a stay. The area is lovely, the downloadable map on the website details some lovely walks. Would advise having the spa pack (robe and slippers) so you can nip in and out the spa to the bar area.

Fair stay, but not fair price, expected more Nice pool , good location, plenty of parking Room was only fair, shower thermostat broken, staff were rude on arrival, and wouldn’t order a taxi when asked! Nice property but would need to spend some time up training staff. Because of bad experience on check in we decided not to eat at the hotel for fear of further rude staff!

From the minute we arrived we had great service from all the staff.
Food great spa lovely. Anna on the night reception went out of her way as I forgot something that no where was open to buy. But Anna made sure I had what I needed and she went above and beyond to do that for me.
All the staff are a credit to the hotel.
There is also a lovely boutique towards the back of the hotel and a few other lovely shops worth looking in on your visit
Made my birthday treat great xx
Thank you

Just back from spending 3 nights in the hotel + enjoyed it very much.
The staff were all very friendly + helpful.
Our room was a good size for 2 adults + 2 children. The bins were emptied daily+ tea/ coffee replenished however the floor wasn't vacuumed or beds tidied up.
The breakfast was fabulous, lovely + fresh + lots of choice + again dining room staff very friendly + efficient.
The hotel had plenty of atmosphere + I would certainly stay again.

Staying in around four to five hotels each week - it's fair to say, you become tolerant of petty things, but in a hotel there are still key standards that should be met - regardless of price.
The Last Drop is lovely as it's quirky in design, has an onsite pub, cafe and a spa with an outside heated spa pool which is worth the visit just for that. If you travel on business or just need a break, seriously, overlook all other Bolton hotels, and even Manchester ones, a pay the Last Drop a visit, use the spa, you'll thank me.

Furthermore, I have to mention reception - I deal with them regularly. Also, I have noticed in recent months they have taken on a number of new staff - Covid has been tough enough, but the hotel has been inundated with booking seemingly with people taking short breaks. I have seen reception staff, at all times, with a number of people checking in, and if I may say, not every customer is all smiles and polite - and the reception never faulter. Professional to the nth degree, helpful, always a friendly smile and always go out of their way to assist you. Treat people nicely, you get it back.

Anna and Yolanda in particular seem to keep the ship running tightly whilst always showing patience with new staff who maybe take a little longer or who are dealing with difficult customers - I have seen them serve their own customers whilst assisting their colleague.

It can't all be sweetness and light, in some rooms the TV's are in the oddest places possible and the hot water taps in may rooms are temperamental.

Placed up in the hills overlooking Bolton, it's a quick ten minute taxi ride into the centre and also there are many restaurants and places to see nearby.

You'll often see a smart dressed gentleman, Gerry, walking around the property ensuring all is running smoothly. Overall, a delight to stay inn, and feels like a break. Value for money and I simply wouldn't consider any other hotel in Bolton as all of them listed on Bolton, regardless of what it says, a 2 star at best.

Just got home from a Friday spa get away with my & more up to date & no complaints at all, last night stayed in another add on to the building room 308 & was initially a little disappointed, little nice added extra though being robes, slippers & pamper pack!! Realised that was probs due to the room being a little old fashioned!! I did ask a lovely receptionist Rhian & she was so over helpful & willing to swap us, i felt bad in the end & decided to stay put!! It was lovely, clean & huge!! The bed was super comfy!! The spa, food & staff including the lovely cocktails 🤪 more than made up for a clean but dated room in the end!! Some drunk Man started being very rude to guests & Staff but very very quickly got professionally dealt with respectfully by staff!! Can not fault at all.
I would just say the rooms could probably benefit from a bit of a spruce up soon ❤️ But not a negative.
Thanks to all the staff, cant wait to return again soon.

The heated Infinity Pool does not look out onto the Moors, and instead looks directly out onto a brand new housing estate no more than 20 metres away. This ruins the element of "romantic" or "picturesque"

I stay at the last drop hotel on a regular basis in connection with my work and on the whole I would rate the experience very highly.

The location itself is set just outside of Bolton in an up market village that offers some excellent amenities. The hotel has plenty of parking set all around it’s perimeter.

The staff are fantastic and very welcoming. The spa and gym are well equipped and although I’ve only ever used the facilities in the evenings, it’s never been too busy.

The cottage rooms are picturesque and create a unique feeling, although I tend to stop more often inside the hotel building as the rooms feel bigger.

The food menu is wide ranging and I can certainly recommend the gammon steaks.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re planning on relaxing or stopping over on business.
