Absolutely beautiful relaxing hotel. Gorgeous spa facilities, friendly staff, good food and you can bring your dog amazing!!!!! Lovely walks also for the dog, it has absolutely everything!!!! Stayed so many times over the years! Cannot wait for my next break at the last drop!

Didnt managed to sleep until 4am the person next to us was having some sort of a party i had to sleep when i came home.

We visited ten years ago so The Last Drop has changed so much. It's surrounded by housing now so some of the view over to Bolton has gone.The Hotel itself has been extended and modernised and it looks really good.There are many rooms here so you have a great choice of lounge areas,bars, restaurants and of course the spa.The swimming pool is different because you can swim to the outside and you can take in the views.

Checkin very poor - when we arrived we were advised room would be ready 12.00 to 12:30 we have requested an early checkin as there for a wedding.
We went to the bar - lady serving very abrupt. The hot chocolate I ordered was extremely bitter
My partner went back to reception only to ge told checkin is at 2pm
We finally got our room key at 17:30.
We had to get changed in the toilets for the wedding

Pillows very thin no support.

Nice pleasant stay
We liked the room, nice hotel, tried the spa facilities, had food in the bar, it was nice, maybe not worth the cost, .
had brocoli soup, really tasty, i had beer battered fish and chips, partner had cheese pie n mash but mash wasnt creamy as it said

Nice hotel but our stay was let down by a grubby room. (See photos) Both chairs in the room were stained and dirty, the pillow protectors were bobbled and old (only noticed because they stuck out from the pillow case, shower screen seal was dirty and there was a half used shower gel left behind, there were dust webs in several areas. Overall the room felt grubby although the bedding was clean and the bed was comfy and we slept well.

Just wanted a wind down trip after Christmas. The massage was lovely, food incredible and the staff really good at what they do. The room was immaculate and we had a beautiful stay. I’ve been before and will definitely be going back. It’s just a shame the new houses Block the beautiful view from the infinity hot tub. Not much can be done about that now. Can’t wait to book my next trip.

Booked the revive in 50 overnight spa break. Yes the bedrooms are in need of a spruce up but they were clean and the bed comfortable.
I had the Be Restful treatment, the facial was great and I really did leave feeling very relaxed the thermal spa afterwards just topped off the experience too.
We ate in the courtyard restaurant. The menu said rack of pork, we were served a pork chop so a little misleading but it was really tasty
Check in and check out was all done online and at the times we did need to speak to someone at reception they were pleasant and helpful

Excellent spa and breakfast. Staff were very friendly. Two problems was miscommunication prior to arrival and noisy neighbours with two dogs barking all night long which ruined the experience. I think without sleep it puts me off coming again.

The bit i loved the most was the spa, it was lovely and relaxing. The staff were also v friendly and helpful. The bit that wasn't great was the information i received from the hotel was incorrect or they were non responsive when i emailed. I was told the pool and spa werent available and then later told they were. I asked for late checkout and was told we've updated our records but they didn't. The worst bit was a room was given to someone on the second night to someone with two dogs and they were barking all night long and even the people were going in and out and slamming the doors. This meant on that night three of the rooms with families couldn't sleep. That was definitely not relaxing. If it wasn't for that i would have been great.

Overall hotel and staff great but rooms have paper thin walls in so you can hear everything from other rooms. The doors have huge gaps without seals. Pretty basic decor. Although we’ve been back before I think we may try somewhere else next time.

Myself, my mum & sisters stayed for a spa day & night in the hotel. The hotel is lovely and rooms are clean with everything you need. However, on our visit, we came across a helpless receptionist, lazy therapist that left me and one of my sisters freezing cold, and a filthy, smelly steam room. We also didn’t sleep so great due to the blasting music for a party going on until about 1am which we had no prior warning about. We had a nice enough stay but these things were enough to make me think I won’t be going there again. Which is a shame as I have stayed there a few times & loved it! The food and service in the courtyard restaurant was amazing.

Very dated bedrooms. Staff excellent . Food ok except for a gourmet ham sandwich I ordered at £8.50 was just two normal slices of ham , mayo an mustard. Served wth salted crisps , withered lettuce and small pot of coleslaw. Definitely not gourmet, sorry.
We Wer there for 5 nights over Xmas, home tomorrow. A lot of dogs about the hotel to staying 😬
