Very little connection with us, despite us choosing to be there exactly 50 years after we’d spent our honeymoon there. M Nice walk out in wild nature just minutes from the hotel No air con and windows not opening. No coat hangers

I suspect the individual experience will depend heavily on the room allocation. We were allocated room 5 in the courtyard, a sort of faux stable block, & were slightly surprised to find the door open on arrival with a door marked "private". In fact our room was adjacent to the housekeeping store, so we got to enjoy the noise of coming & going, including late at night.

The room was bright & clean with a pair of good sized, comfortable single beds. Furnished with a kettle, hair dryer & iron. The TV had very poor reception & the WiFi came & went with a very low signal.

Unfortunately the room backed onto the outdoor seating area for the "pub", so was very noisy late into the night. It was impossible to close the windows to try to shut this out.

It also seemed to have a footpath leading to a staff area directly outside the window. So as with the housekeeping, there were many disturbances with foot traffic, exacerbated by a loose flagstone. We were awoken a 6 AM with high heels clattering past the window. We even got what was presumably a staff member leaving for the day on a motorbike, that was revved right outside the window.

These ground floor rooms also have another floor above, & we experienced odd flexing sounds from above. So with all this, sleep was interrupted both nights.

On the plus side, my guest enjoyed the spa facilities.

I can't comment on the food as we never ate there.

So as I said at the outset, the room you're allocated is critical.

The room was spotless and the bathroom. Loved the facilities in the spa and pool too. Staff were lovely to talk to and answered questions and helped with queries effortlessly! Lovely place will definitely be back.

We stayed for a week at Last Drop Village Hotel and Spa (Lancaster Suite) and the main thing to feedback on is all the staff we interacted with, were a credit to the business – friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food in the Restaurant was delicious and Room Service equally. We would definitely stay again as this was an enjoyable week, good value for money, excellent food and super staff. When a couple of things required attention, the staff responded quickly.

Great! Food was lovely, nice little restaurant and the swimming pool and sauna area were lovely. Staff were great and friendly and always on hand when needed. Our room seemed a little outdated. The bathroom however was nice. There were coffee stains up the wall, curtains hanging off the rail and dusty in a few places. I think the little chalets where we were placed need updating. But overall a nice stay. Maybe also putting hot chocolate sachets on the tea tray.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The spa is good, love the large pool windows. Staff are friendly. I really enjoyed my massage. The grounds are well kept. Breakfast was good. My mugs and teaspoons were dirty in the room. Not washed actually dirty. The £100 deposit taken at the online check in wasn't found until in the morning when I refused to pay for breakfast knowing I had already paid a deposit. The breakfast manager didn't let me out of his sights until he had confirmed the deposit was there. It's embarrassing, treated like I am refusing to pay. The toilets in the pool were dirty.

Underwhelming Last visit was 20 years ago. The place looks tired. Both bars lack warmth and imagination. There is now a housing development in front of the infinity pool which use to look over the amazing moors. Breakfast is £18 and flat whites or cappuccino’s are an additional cost. Room smelt musty and there was dust in the bath so clearly the room hadn’t been used for a while.

The place is good if a little tired. They charge you extra for a latte at breakfast which is strange.

Definitely worth a stay, hotel and spa are really nice.
Location was ideal for me but not a lot to do if that's what you are looking for.

We had our wedding reception in the Harmony Suite,at the Last Drop. Everything was spot on!

Jacqueline, wedding Co-ordinator,was extremely efficient, supportive and professional. The staff were all pleasant. We had a bbq, which was well presented and the quality of the food was good.

The bridal suite was lovely. Some guests stayed in rooms in the courtyard, and these were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was well organised and food was of a reasonable standard.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, I absolutely love this place as it doesn’t feel like a Hotel, it just feels like you’re at home

Lovely location , staff are great. What lets it down is the premium price for a below standard room in the courtyard area. Room in desperate need of refurbishment, very dark and unwelcoming nothing like rooms shown on website. These rooms should not be offered at a premium price and are probably the reason for most complaints.

The spa facilities are great. The atmosphere is great. Real holiday feeling. Breakfast was great and staff friendly. The pillows are bad. Rooms could be a little cleaner.

Really lovely hotel. The staff are nice and friendly. Room was really clean and the bed was really comfortable. Had dinner in the restaurant which was really nice. Breakfast in the morning really nice and has everything you would want. Also used the spa after breakfast which was really nice and relaxing. Would recommend and would visit again.
