Excellent beds which are not too hard like many other hotels. Very good breakfasts and evening meals
We had no room service the whole time we were there. Room 33, we complained one day and service came very quickly, but even then there was no cleaning just bed making and towel change.

If you want an uncooked cold breakfast enjoy. Sausages pink in the middle bacon and black pudding cooked only on 1 side. Items missing.

The rooms were not soundproof at all! Had to listen to room above us being sick all night.
The room wasn't cleaned to a high enough standard - public hairs , stale chip with ketchup splatter on the wall.

We stayed here as the hotel’s location was close to the wedding venue we attended, and thoroughly enjoyed our couple of nights here. We were comfortable throughout in our lovely spacious room, and had no issues at all during our stay. The staff were lovely, having a friendly disposition, and were helpful and informative. In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in this charming and well-run hotel, and our thanks go to the staff and management.

Really enjoyed our stay. Visited to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. Lovely stay, staff attentive, food lovely, room clean and comfortable. Beds extremely comfortable. Spa facilities superb.

Just back from a 3 day break celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary.
From booking to checking out, everything was amazing.
Can’t fault any of the meals we had, food was delicious including afternoon tea.
The room (executive double) was very spacious and the bed was so comfy.
No issues using the spa/pool outside of the pre-booked times. The gym was excellent with plenty of equipment to get a good workout.
All staff were very friendly and polite.
Would definitely stay here again!

The value for money was amazing! We really enjoyed the spa, treatment and the food. We had dinner and breakfast. The only thing I would say is the room was quite warm and there is no air con. A fan was provided which helped a little.

This was my second visit to this hotel having experienced good service and a comfortable nights sleep previously. Regan on the front desk was very helpful and professional whilst being friendly and a good conversationalist. The service and food along with the room were all good. However the behaviour of the guests in room 85 and/or 86 showed them to be inconsiderate during the late evening through to just before midnight by banging the exterior door to the unit and female voices talking loudly enough to disturb my sleep for the rest of the night.

Just returned from 3 day break nothing was to much trouble from any member of staff bedroom clean spacious breakfast fast & hot I was with a disabled person and needed help staff were so helpful even when we went swimming highly recommended stay

First ever girly night away from home with my 12 year old daughter so a girly pamper night ❤️

Short stay nice staff historic building
Very quaint, beautiful historic building.
Gym and spa facilities looked fab but time constraints did not allow a visit and the gym didn’t open until 7.30am a little late for my stay Breakfast was poor, food cold when it arrived.
