Took my Mum here for a late Mother’s Day treat.
Lovely stay, comfy bed, great bath, and lovely food! Would definitely recommend.
Such a good deal for an NHS worker like myself!
Thank you, see you in August!

This was my 3rd visit so I knew what I was going to experience. The hydrotherapy pool and spa facilities are good. When you stay at the hotel you have to book a slot to use them, they are not available whenever you want which helps with overcrowding. I booked a 55 min calm massage with Dawn and it was perfect, highly recommended. The evening meal was nice and the breakfast is a buffet and plenty to eat. The only negative I can say, is the decor which looks a bit tired and dated especially in the family room we had but that's just decor.

Beautiful village setting, nice shops, nice tea rooms and a very pleasant pub that serves excellent value food. Well worth a visit.

Good hotel but needs updating as a little tired. Easy check in - room easy to find with map. Huge room overlooking garden. Lots of parking available especially round the back of the building. Not much parking at the front and always busy due to those using the spa. Room was not clean enough for my liking. Still stuff on the floor so not hoovered properly. Bathroom marks on panels that i cleaned off myself. Mirrors had finger prints on - obviously not mine. Cleaning needs more attention. Bedroom was so big would have taken a super king size bed. Room tired needs revamping. Also needs blinds or something at the windows as no privacy whatsover

Upon arriving at the hotel, they seamed to be short staffed. You could see glasses still in and around the bar area that had not been collected and we waited a few minutes at the desk for the young lady to finish on the phone.

I wouldn't say we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes, the girl just told us our room number and explained which way to go. She didn't tell us anything about the amenities in the hotel, not even the times for breakfast the following day.

We later went down to the spa to take our little girl swimming. We asked at the desk did we need to sign in and she replied "is the kid with you?"

The bathroom in the bedroom had the toilet roll holder on the opposite side of the bathroom, which was bizarre! The room was small and cosy, but it was nice.

With all that said, the hotel was lovely and the facilities were great too. I think the staff are quite young and didn't quite show any personal touches. But unfortunately probably not somewhere we will go back to, which is a shame as it's at a great price point for what is available in the hotel.

Great hotel and stay. Room was comfortable and well equipped, the bar was a nice area and breakfast was perfect.
My only criticism (not to do with hotel staff but I think they could clamp down on it!) was the parking. Lots of spaces but nobody can park! People were all over the place, cars over the lines, people reversing up and abandoning their car opposite the gym pool. It took me well over 20 minutes to park.

Lovely stay, lovely food, great atmosphere.. Easy check in as done on line before arrival. Lovely relaxed atmosphere in the hotel bar. Nice little pub, Drop Inn, good for a game of pool. Beautiful evening meal in the restaurant. Room large with a very comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom. Good serve yourself buffet style breakfast with plenty of choice of hot or cold food. Beautiful views, didn’t get chance to use Spa as visit was to attend a wedding. Would stay at this hotel again (also noticed it is dog friendly).

Lovely hotel really friendly and helpful staff bit pricey for what we got my son bought it as a Christmas present he paid £180 for the romantic suit and we had to pay a extra £40 supplement for the use of a Saturday night could have got it a lot cheaper on wowcher never mind next time . Pool and spa very nice and relaxing. Breakfast was lovely some thing for everyone and plenty of it .

Lovely hotel, nice clean room, we stayed in one of the executive rooms which was very spacious, comfy bed which is always a plus!, very quiet, ample parking, this hotel is also dog friendly and you are bot limited to a particular room or part of the hotel because you have taken your fur baby, staff are lovely an friendly, great food also/room service. If I had one issue it would be...given they are dog friendly there are no poo bins anywhere, so we left ours by our car, so we could put in a bin when we went out....but to our surprise the bags were gone in the morning?, which is great so they must have poo fairies 🧚‍♀️. Otherwise great stay and would recommend

Another great break for Me my Husband and our Canadian friend. Room was excellent. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was excellent. Enjoyed every minute. We brought our friend from Canada for a night away and she loved it and has put it on list for a visit when both her and her partner visit us again in the future.

Nice big family room, on ground floor as we had a pram but still 4 steps to get up to the room. The room was clean, stain on bed sheet but looked to be nail varnish so cant fault hotel on this. Bathroom was big and clean. Nice hotel lots of little shops on site. We attended a weddings there, which was beautiful, well staffed throughout the day.

Booked as part of a Wowcher deal. A one night stay with dinner, breakfast and spa facilities with my partner. Check in was super easy and staff were friendly. The room was clean and spacious, had everything you needed. We had a few drinks at the bar and was reasonably priced. Spa facilities were good and we loved the hydro pool. Dinner was excellent, the food was amazing! both me and my partner enjoyed it and the staff really attentive.
We slept well and the bed was really comfortable.
In the morning we headed down to breakfast and once again, couldn’t fault it. Had a good selection of juices, continental items and then your cooked breakfast. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again soon!

Overall, I did enjoy my stay I would come back again I like the room outside because it was near to the entrance of the hotel. It just needs updating. Apart from that everything else in the hotel was lovely. Breakfast was nice and the evening we had was nice The only thing I didn’t like was, I only had a shower and no bath. Apart from that the room was a little old, just needed updating.

Lovely stay for the night with friendly staff. We loved the personalised touch as we were celebrating a friends birthday - when we checked in our room had cake! Really friendly and accommodating staff and a very comfy night's sleep! The main pool was not very warm as part of the spa facilities.
