My husband and I renewed our Wedding Vows at The Last Drop on 30th May 2022, for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We know the hotel well and have never been disappointed, this is why we booked our renewal here.
ALL the staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to help us make our special day the day we wanted. They are a credit to the hotel manager and team.
Jacqueline and Liz, who helped us plan our special day, were terrific.!! 😁 They ensured that every single detail was right for us, and we are so grateful for that. The Harmony Suite looked amazing and was just the right size for our renewal and party. They kept in touch regularly, and we knew they were there if we needed anything, which was good to know.
On the day Liz collected and delivered our cake for us, and Jacqueline organised every single detail , and even provided umbrella's for us to get us from our room to the Harmony Suite.
Zoe was fantastic in the Suite, making sure everyone was OK and organising us all!
We just want to say a massive THANK YOU to you all for making our day so memorable and helping it to run so smoothly 🤗

I wasn’t happy at all with the sink blockage and the flush wasn’t working and people playing knock a door run on the door and kept running away my baby kept waking up! They need to upgrade their rooms

the beds was comfy and there was plenty of room also very warm and cosy
the toilet lid was snapped off there was mould on the bath and shower curtain the bath drain was also snapped off

Just want to thank the whole venue what an amazing place from the hotel room to the bars and restaurants and the spa!! All staff actually!! We had the pennies suite for the wedding day what a magical day it really was! Nothing was to much trouble everybody enjoyed there day and stay overs! Fabulous experience thankyou so much to everyone couldn't recommend enough for this wedding venue!!! Book it now you won't be disappointed I promise you that!!

One bar was closed and the other being refurbished, although I understand this is unaffordable, I wasn’t informed at booking or check in. The infinity pool also looks out of a new build housing estate, this was disappointing.

An really enjoyable stay…staff were helpful and friendly. Service was great and food really enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to frequents and family.

Clean, basic room.
Nice old, historic building. Friendly staff. Clean, basic room. Tea and coffee making facilities.
The hotel was not in the countryside as expected, but in the middle of large newly built housing estate. It was a little basic for the price and breakfast wasn't included.

From an easy online booking system, regular reminders, great parking and efficient checkin this was a great start to our stay.
Room was great, food was hot and well presented.
Wedding venue was well decorated and just as the bridal couple had requested.

Lovely hotel, really friendly staff who were happy to help with any questions even at 6am, great food, the breakfast was fab, lovely sauna and steam room, clean rooms, really comfy, the only issue we had was that both heaters were on and so I was way too hot when I woke up at 4am. That was our fault for not turning them off when we checked in to the room because we were in a rush to get to our friend's wedding.

It was a last minute get away which thoroughly enjoyed in place with good and nice staff.
Breakfast was good, plenty on offer.
I use a Stick with my walking so the front steps up to reception was a challenge and also to get to our room. (80)

Accommodation, staff spa and breakfast made the weekend relaxing.
Surprised to be asked for £5 each for use of a bath robe in the spa when full use of the spa was included in the room booking!!!

The bed in the room was very comfortable, the spa was excellent and the grounds of the hotel is stunning, all staff members where really pleasant.
We was 'uprgraded' as there was an issue with the radiator in our room (hangin off the wall) however the room we was upgraded to felt like we had just walked into a residential home, it was awful... the receptionist was lovely about the whole thing in our original room and gave us a drinks voucher however it did kind of put a downer on the night as part of coming to a hotel is to stay in a lovely room. The TV in the room (310) is miles away from the bed, not infront of the bed on the wall, like all the way over at the left hand side of the room. Bar food menu is extremely overpriced for the quality of the food and the menu choice is quite boring. I asked if a special request could be made in the room, anything extra such as rose petals etc as a hotel&spa receptionist myself i know this isnt always possible, however i did receive an email back saying the hotel have agreed to my request however there was nothing in the room, if it wasnt possible that was absolutely fine but i dont agree with saying you could but then dont

some of the spaces needed cleaning - eg the top of the wardrobe in room 77 was filthy and had clothes left behind by other guests - clearly been there for a long time and our suit bags ended up disgusting. Check in / out, despite being online wasn’t as you still needed to queue at the desk.

I was a little surprised an disappointed that the hotel is at the end of a new housing development and the hydro pool overlooking the car park but we did have a very relaxing overnight stay. The pool and spa are extremely clean and the spa offers 5 different rooms. The pool water is very warm. We had bought the romantic package and enjoyed the bottle of Champagne, fruit and chocolate in our room before going to dinner. I chose the grilled tuna steak which was really juicy and succulent. The bed was really comfortable and the location really quiet so we had an excellent night sleep.

The hotel is looking quite dated now and needs a little tlc as does the spa. We spent a couple of hours in the spa but things weren’t working properly and it now literally overlooks a building site - such a shame.
We booked a double room but got a twin room we told reception and nothing was done about this. There was also only one towel in the room .
We ate in the restaurant - the food was delicious and we had a nice night sat in the bar.

Very pleasant
All the staff very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Pool and Spa decent.
The room was very small and overpriced for the size. Others paid less for their rooms and got bigger, far superior ones. The shower floor was so slippery, it was dangerous...needs a mat.
