An amazing spa break. Definitely will return. Stunning property with an incredible spa facility. Friendly staff. Lots of options for food and drink. Room service was very quick. The little village shops advertised opening hours that were not correct.

Was mostly good The comfy beds and live music That my daughter couldn’t go in the pool on her own at 11 even if I sat and watch from the side and staff weren’t that friendly towards us

Lovely stay Staff were all lovely and very helpful throughout the whole stay! Beds were comfy, food was good. Bar was very nice. Hotel is a little run down, new carpets and doors would help give it lift. More staff needed on bar as it was very busy and slow service due to not enough servers. 50 minutes in the Thermal suite is not long enough to enjoy all the facilities.

Had a lovely stay, comfy bed and lovely food. Location for what we were doing and that is accommodated a large group of us. The room was tired and we had to pay to hire robes even though we were booked in the spa. Also that there is a huge housing estate on view when in the spa! Strange.

Not brilliant but not great.
Room wasn’t cleaned to high standards, food average. Spa was the saving grace.

My cousin and I had our second annual trip to the last drop hotel and spa. We have booked again for next year.

Excellent points:
Every single member of staff are brilliant. Friendly, fun and cannot do enough to help.
All of our food was brilliant. Every meal was really tasty. Enjoyed every bite.
We had some lovely treatments at the spa. Again, the staff were lovely and very good at their job. We came out of our treatment floating.

Good points:
The thermal pool was great. It was a little cooler than last year but still nice.

Not so good points:
we stayed in room 78 which was a Cottage Executive Double. This was the room we were in last year, 2022.
It was in need of a freshen up back then. It really needs it now. We had to clean the radiator and wall when we arrived. It was covered in spilled coffee. One of the bedside lamps was completely broken.
The carpet really needs changing. It’s not the cleanest.

On balance, the room is not a deal breaker. Because of the amazing staff, food, spa and attached pottery, we have booked for next year already. We have requested room 80 which looks much nicer. Fingers crossed.

Thank you for having us. See you next year.

I booked a classic room and was put in an outside cottage room after querying a discrepancy with my total booking price. I’m unsure if I would visit again.

We stayed for a night but wished we booked a day longer!
The hotel has a medieval style which I liked, it reminded me of Alton Towers!
Great hotel, the room was great, and the staff were excellent and very helpful. Me and my partner booked 2 massage treatments for 60 mins. i recommend booking in advance as we couldn't get our treatments together. so, we had to wait around for one another, but no issues as we waited in the hotel bar and had a few drinks 😋. I also recommend booking over 60-minute treatments as the time goes quickly.
Our best experience was the hydro pool and the steam room area. Left feeling relaxed and refreshed!
The hotel is dog friendly we witnessed a few dogs in the bar area. The food was ok and probably the only downside of the stay. Limited options and nothing really exciting on the food menu.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend visiting. We will be back...

Service here was slow, in the Drop In restaurant. The food was expensive but the food I Had, the Rag pie, was very tasty. We all had only one course, to save on cost.

Wonderful overnight stay at this hotel, after visiting family in Bolton, Lovely clean room set in a courtyard, very quiet & very welcoming helpful friendly staff. We had breakfast which we had a £10 voucher off for food in the room& a voucher for 2 free glasses of house wine, the breakfast was lovely. We used the pool & spa which was great. We Will definitely stay at the hotel again .

Very relaxing! The buildings have a rustic yet clean feel to them, and the staff were all lovely. The spa would not be great to visit as an actual day event but as an added extra onto your stay, is a lovely relaxing environment with a great outside hot pool. The meal at the Courtyard Restaurant was also fantastic. We booked the room with the added two course evening meal and without that, would be quite pricey, but the quality is superb. Overall I thought it was a fantastic one night getaway for me and the Mrs 👍🏼

Not what I expected... Spa facilities and breakfast and eveing meal in the restaurant were fantastic. Lovely location. The room smelled as though animals had stayed there. Was not aware this was an animal friendly hotel. Only 1 robe in room for the spa although housekeeping did bring one. Had requested quiet room away from stairs yet was located at the top of a set if stairs. Room was dated yet functional.
