I've been coming to the last drop with my family over the past 20 years, for special occasions and for random treat stays.
My husband and stayed here the day after our wedding last year and had the loveliest time and booked again for two days this year, noting that it was our first wedding anniversary, and they very kindly upgraded us to the same room we stayed in last year - a feature suite in the cottages.
We've had the nicest two days in really gorgeous surroundings,
There really isn't much to fault them on at all, the view from the spa pool outside is a bit disappointing - a nice feature wall of plants or something pretty to look at would be nice to block looking out at the carpark and houses, and the inside of the spa could do with a pressure wash in parts, and the chairs in the restaurant are a bit past their best, but overall that's the only not great things I can think of.
The service and food are my favourite bits of The Last Drop, both being immaculate.
Specifically the reception, restaurant and bar staff - the younger wait staff are so polite and helpful. And reception can't do enough for you. The surroundings are great as well with the little boutiques and views over the hills.
We've always enjoyed every meal we've eaten here, specifically the desserts which are stunning, and the breakfast is great, though a few cheeses / meats to the continental selection would be a nice addition.
Overall we absolutely love it up at the Last Drop and are always sad to have to leave.

We visited from a wowcher deal and would definitely return. Room and the spa area were lovely and clean. The food in the restaurant at both dinner and breakfast was really nice. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Great stay for a relax and reset.

Room ok good blackout curtains and quiet (we were in the annexe).
Bed linen was pristine as were towels but the pillows were lumpy and hard.
Bad smell from drain in washbasin but we were only staying for one night so just reported it when checking out.

Great place and nice location for a night away
Spa was nice and quiet and breakfast was great
Decor seem dated, a few cob webs in hard to reach places, vegan Super Bowl meal was mostly broad beans and sugar snap which weren’t identified on menu! Noise in corridors at nice sadly

My partner and I spent a day and a night in LDV and it was great. The thermal suite and swimming pool are nice and warm and the pub had simple nice food. The room was very comfortable and warm. The breakfast was very generous and fast and of good quality. Would recommend.

If you have reduced mobility, you could have an issue and would certainly need to discuss your needs with the resorts team.

Alicia at the bar was amazing, great service & very flexible on specific demands. Overall made the wedding experience that much more amazing! Rooms were tidy & clean. Bar closed very late. Lovely village vibe with much to see and to do. Would recommend lively!

Everything is here for a restful stay when you book DB&B and particularly liked using the spa before dinner and after breakfast! Superbly well staffed and definitely better than many other, very good DB&Bs we have been to. Well done to Last Drop!

Swimming facilities were good
Breakfast paid for 4 people no tea serves both days. The Asian man in the kitchen was very helpful and made us eggs. Others had no bother and couldn't serve a cup of tea so had to leave after 30 min. Excuse was short staff, not my problem when your charging £20 a night for breakfast a day per person. Booking swimming pool for 50min conditions sucks etc

We celebrated my daughter's wedding at the Last Drop Hotel, and Liz and her team ensured that their special day ran beautifully and to schedule.
Everything was on time and Liz seemed to pop up in all the right places at all the right times!!!
We enjoyed working with Liz during the previous 12 months or so in the planning of their special day, made even more special by the fact that Liz was always so calm and collected and knew it all would be on the day!
The bridal suite was exquisite - I had a sneaky look! and our overnight bedroom was also comfortable and was everything we needed. The hotel accommodated all our needs and I would have no hesitation in recommending the Last Drop Village as a venue to family and friends who are making any future celebrations.

comfy nights sleep, but the rooms need updating
We were welcomed warmly upon arrival. The customer service was excellent.
The bed was extremely comfy and we both had a great nights rest. The toilet had an awful stench coming from it- we had to spray in there upon arrival an in the morning, because the smell took your breath away. The sink also looked like it had not been cleaned.
Whilst the price might be bit more reasonable if we were able to take advantage of the spa facilities, we unfortunately could not as we were attending a wedding nearby. The price was very steep for the room- and the room was quite dated.
