Good The breakfast was good value although I don't understand why it was more expensive if you didn't book the night before. The evening meals were not great. The veggie burger was in a bun with no salad or dressing. It was dry and not very tasty. The hotel was full because it was Ironman weekend and there didnt seem enough staff to cope. The soundproofing in the stable block was not great, I heard everything the couple upstairs did!

would recommend for short break as one night wasn’t enough x spa was amazing. shame the infinity pool looks onto the car park but it’s lovely some of the staff were new and didn’t really know what was going on. it took us a while to pay for the afternoon tea as there was no one around

Absolute gem of a hotel , reasonable , book direct , £10 food voucher, 2🍷 per room . Free spa 5*, rooms large , clean and comfortable. Breakfast 5* staff 5* . Go trust me , free car park, ignore the new housing estate, just relax. A great find 🍷🍛🏊🏻🏊‍♂️🚘

What a lovely day to celebrate my daughters birthday. Afternoon tea was nice and not to overfacing then a 50 minute treatment which was probably the best I've had and beautician was really friendly Paula Croft if anyone gets the chance to choose. She gave me different fragrances to choose from and then asked how I would like the depth all I can say is it was amazing !!! I chose the restful package and it didn't disappoint. Then onto the spa for a visit to the hydrotherapy pool which was lovely. Thank you for a wonderful day.

It’s really nice and the staff are super friendly. It’s located at the top of a big hill so you need a car or taxi to get there. The service was a bit slow and the menu was somewhat limited. But the food quality was excellent. No real complaints and would stay again.

Great mid week price and was given an upgrade. Hotel is a little tired in its decor but the spa makes up for that.

Ask for a massage of Paula Croft at last drop village spa!!
Theee best massage I have had in my life.
I am a returning client just to get Paula.
Super friendly.
The spa is super relaxed and Paula altered the massage to a deep tissue to help me out.
Absolutely amazing!

Stayed for one night as we needed to drive into Bolton for the Ironman race so we’ll situated for that.

Friendly and professional reception and dining staff - stayed in a cottage room which was ok, very tired and carpets unclean. Bathroom extremely dated with black sealant around the taps - not very pleasing to the eye!

Room would benefit from updating, paid £90 which was ok for condition of room but would pay more for refurbished room.

The venue was very clean and the staff where outstanding. The toilets where extremely clean and well kept and the drinks where reasonably priced. I found the bar nearby the reception desk to be very relaxing and extremely comfortable and when you ask for a pint of diet coke it's not even a millimetre out. There was nothing wrong with the food it just wasn't yoo my taste

Can't wait to return The Spa was amazing, clean and lots of different things to do. The staff were really friendly throughout.. The different buildings make you feel like you aren't in a busy hotel so it's really relaxing. The breakfast good and service needs some work. The decor is getting a little old but because it's all clean it's not an issue but could be even more amazing when updated

overall a very pleasant stay, would go again. Very nice hotel. spa and gym looked good although we didn’t use them. breakfast buffet was good. the food overall was excellent. staff were very friendly and helpful. the room was roasting hot, even after turning off the radiators so had to have a window open. The menu was a bit limited. service was a bit slow.

Sleep disrupted by banging door despite it being reported day before.
Bathroom looked a bit tired and shower was scarily noisy.
Toiletries were nice as were most staff.
Brunch menu was very limited if you weren’t booked to stay for breakfast.
Nice location, apart from new housing development on the doorstep.

Staff are friendly, polite , rooms are amazing, clean, and the beds are really cosy , the downside is that the pool is open to anyone so anyone can go in ie children and families, when you book a spa break you don’t expect children in the pool

Lovely hotel hidden in a quiet part of Bolton. Had a 1 year old with us but was still very welcoming and never fussed when asking bar for milk every 3 hours 😂 Quick bar staff, lovely clean spa and welcoming receptionists. Will hopefully be back again.

Comfy bed! Very comfortable bed and blackout curtains made for a great sleep! staff were very friendly. The spa was okay although lots of children made it difficult to actually swim in the pool. The shower didn’t work properly (kept going hot and cold) and the cooked breakfast was not good at all, especially for the money.
