stayed here while on business. Impressive entrance set on nice surroundings. Bedroom was very nice with a lovely soft bed and a very nice bathroom. Super clean aswell. Sample the spa while staying and it was wonderful. Lovely, large swimming pool and a hot spa/infinity Pool. Nice and relaxing! Had dinner in the resturant and the food was very very good. Started with the crispy chicken which was very good. Then had the steak which was cooked to perfection. Had a great sleep aswell. The breakfast was okay, not massive fan of the sausages. Overall, a fantastic stay.

Would stay again big and comfy super kind size bed they accommodated us on the ground floor as my partner had a knee injury the pillows the fact that you can only use the spa up until check out but then you can’t do a late check out at the weekend. also, reception told me so long as I went into the spa before 11, that was fine, but at the spa, they said that wasn’t the case - seemed inconsistent.

Lovely clean friendly hotel Although I was given a very spacious double room, the mattress was very uncomfortable as it was two single beds pushed together....didn't expect this to be the case in this standard of hotel? The spa on the otherhand was great and i would definitely look to revisit when either on business or seeing friends in the area. As above - also the pub onsite was very limited to draught beers.

What a fabulous hotel! From the staff, the fantastic spa area with infinity pool, the gorgeous executive cottages, the lovely food and chill out areas - you can really chill out here and just relax! Definitely will be returning!

Who thought selling off the hotel’s lovely grounds to a builder was a good way to attract customers? The hotel is now s The room and leisure centre. Land in the grounds of the hotel has been sold to a builder who built lots of houses which ruin the look of the hotel and the view from it. I’m sure it made the owners of the hotel loads of money but lost them a previous customer.

Customer service was amazing, even found a candle for my partner's birthday cake and sang to her.
Accommodation was amazing, a delightful cottage.
Spa was nice but does need an upgrade.
Gym was clean and tidy.
Restaurant was amazing but definitely book in advance.
Will book again soon

Good Location . Room a bit small

we came for my boyfriends 21st and we had a great time. it is beautiful i got a drink from the bar and my glass was dirty at the bottom and i didn’t know until i drank it

I visited the spa and hotel for a night away. We had a treatment, used the spa facilities and had a meal. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The treatment was great as we're the food.

Will definitely be visiting again maybe for a couple of nights rather than just the one.

We stayed here for two nights as attending a local event. Two executive double rooms were booked at a rate of £600 for 3 adults and one child, no breakfast included. This hotel was chosen for the location and the benefit of on site facilities.
Check in didn’t start well, took quite a while, longer than necessary whilst the staff member looked for our booking, then gave us one key and directions, I had to ask about the second room which some other staff member had to assist with!
On location of the rooms one was set up well, large and only double bed which my adult daughter used comfortably. We expected our room to be the same with the addition of a travel cot, oh no….the room was cluttered with beds! A double, a single, a put me up fold away contraption AND a travel cot! Left very very little space for our granddaughter to play.
Went downstairs to ask to add breakfast to our stay, wow! That was way more difficult than it should have been, the staff member continually asking me if I had added it already?! I Honestly had to have a very difficult and blunt conversation with her, something I hate doing as most hospitality staff are paid minimum and don’t need difficult customers but my goodness, it was sheer incompetence! Eventually when someone came to assist we got our breakfast ‘vouchers to use’ which incidentally cost another £81 for 3 adults for two days.
Dinner in the restaurant was fine, service slow at times but not too bad overall. Food overpriced for what it was but I get this feeling from the whole stay. Good plus point is under 4’s eat free! The hotel is now surrounded by a new build housing estate and don’t have the same outlook as they may once have. And for this reason they really should review their costings. The ‘executive’ double rooms were a very big let down, robes and slippers are what let them get away with this. I had to ask for hand soap for goodness sake!
The local event made all restaurants and bars busy on the Saturday evening and the hotel didn’t appear to cope and there really wasn’t adequate space for everyone!
Swimming pool facilities adequate for spending time with our granddaughter. But the thermal pool looks into the back of the housing estate.
I most definitely would not spend £700 here again for a couple of days! Not worth it!

Great, but, could be improved with a little more care. The setting, the pool and thermal pool and Massage. The food was lovely. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The staff were helpful, though some of the young ones could do with more training. The weather was fantastic especially where we watched the world go by in the thermal pool. A really enjoyable stay. Waited too long for main course, over 1Hr on first night. The Thermal Hydro pool was too hot on last day. The shower in our room kept going hot and cold and the toilet wouldn't flush properly. The room got too warm and there was a humming sound coming from some silver funnels. Over expensive for breakfast in the bedroom. £8 per person. That was £16 in total. Money for old rope.

underwhelming for the price bed was comfy, spa was good, expensive for the stay. we’re initially placed in the wrong room despite paying for an executive upgrade. was asked to come to reception and when we got there, the worker said we needed to walk all the way back to the room to get our bags and come back to reception again before being put in another room. the decor is dated. reception never answered the phone when called from the room.

Last minute spa break loved it. Really great value also discount given for bluelight. Would book again spa facilities nice .the infinity pool awesome . Will back soon. Booked a spa break elsewhere but building work had commenced . So Booked this last minute disappointed

we were in the area to attend a wedding and location was good for us but it wasn’t worth the money. good sized room, good location Wi-Fi was problematic. no information in room re hotel. when reception asked told it was on the tv - it wasn’t. the tv was a smart tv which meant that it was hit and miss because of wi-if problems. no bottled water in room - told it was only provided in executive rooms. the cost for a standard room was rather a lot. no box of tissues in room. generally for the amount we paid it was disappointing. issues with room safe.

It was great I liked how welcoming and helpful the staff were and the food was so good we have been a few times now and we will definitely come again

Brilliant get away for an overnight stay with the better half, used the midweek NHS discount for a spa sandwich meal package well worth the 💰💰
