The best hotel of Bolton could use a little update. The rooms was not clean. The pilloe was dirty, en there were a lot of letovers from previous guest under the bed.
Also the bathroom was in our point of vieuw old and used.
It was good, but not worth the money we paid for.
Beds were ok.
The showers and other parts of the swimmingpool are also not clean. Old and should have been replaced a lkng time ago.
Also 11 pounds for 2 beers at the barr, and 15 pound for a simple breakfast is a bit expensive.

Very good The staff were very friendly and the bedroom was clean and comfortable It was very convenient as we were attending a wedding at the hotel In the bathroom there was a small tube of each toiletry - shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. This was not enough for 3 people so I had to request more. It would also be helpful if a box of tissues could be provided Breakfast was a bit basic but it met our needs

Not impressed, without spa, not worth it The spa and pool were amazing, the beds were comfortable. We found rubbish under the beds, including a hair bubble and a box for a perfume bottle. One pillow had a dirty stain on it. The toilet very close to the wall underneath the toilet paper dispenser. Bathroom outdated, just overall not impressed for that price point. Non of staff were outstanding. Friendly yes but nothing worth mentioning in my opinion. The bar was expensive too.

Went to The Drop Inn for brunch, so cannot comment on the rooms.
The Inn has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were welcoming, polite, pleasant and helpful. The food was lovely, but a little on the expensive side. Eggs benedict cooked perfectly (could do with more sauce) and the bacon and sausage were particularly tasty.
The toilets were clean and well equipped.
The Inn is disabled, pram and dog friendly.
Lovely little village to have an explore of, especially if you like old architecture.
Will definitely be visiting again!

Lovely stay in one of the cottage rooms in Feb 2024. We had a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast deal with spa access. You have to book your spa use ahead of time during peak hours. Facilities are great, with a huge thermal pool. Food was great, as was service.

Surprisingly nice place The spa was surprisingly very good! The staff was so kind, the food in the restaurant was very nice as well! You can hear the people walking in the room upstairs like they would have walk in your room. This is not very good when you are on holiday and you would like to sleep a bit more.

Good Nice atmosphere, spacious room and great staff. Really easy to check in/out and a fair price at the bar. Great shops and amusements throughout the area. The room was too warm at night.

Homey and convenient Like the location and the village The Breakfast was a buffet and the stock levels of items remained low - hash browns were all gone, no offer for vegetarian sausages like in the week - was a little disappointing and probably would not get breakfast next time

Great place, great facilities with lovely staff and food Lovely hotel and facilities, great gym with plenty of machines and free weights available (did not use the spa so cant comment), 3 restaurants (bar, pub and formal restaurant) all with different menu's, good comfy rooms and facilities. Really enjoyed my stay here and will stay again when working in this part of the world. N/A as everything was great.

Ok but could be so much better Love the little village layout, there is plenty to see and do. We liked that it’s dog friendly and the staff were friendly. There isn’t enough parking on site. Our room was dated and could have been cleaner. If you want a flat white with soy milk it is not included in the price of the breakfast and will cost and additional £4 which makes the overall breakfast cost ~£20 which is high. If you do bring you dog you have to sit in the dog section for food which is fine however they only have either high bar stools or sofas and coffee tables, nothing in between.
