Had afternoon tea here with my daughter , service was good food was ok not 100%. Wasn't alot of choice and I think there should be a menu to say what was on the finger sandwiches.

Pleasant Setting of the hotel is beautiful Room wasn't as clean as I expected it to be which was disappointing and we had a drunk person sat outside our room door for hours talking which kept us and our little girl awake.

Lovely location and facilities I liked the location a lot, the pool and the steam room/sauna. The atmosphere of the village/pub/courtyard restaurant was absolutely amazing. I think I’d come back but maybe to a cheaper room as I don’t think it was worth the £170 paid There was one member of staff overall who stood out to me hospitality wise, other than that I found everyone else to be slightly disinterested when it came to service.

Lovely hotel for a weekend away. Beautiful natural surroundings, great spa facilities and comfortable room, and amazing food! Was particularly impressed with the breakfast.

Pleasant spa facilities. The spa facilities were the attraction for us. Since our last visit the view from hot pool is obscured by a housing estate.

Lovely and relaxing one night stay Loved the village feel with shops etc well Tended and beautiful grounds, staff were lovely nothing was too much trouble and having access to spa included in price meant with one night stay I got two swims in with my children who loved that! We had to walk at night to our accommodation which wasn’t a big deal but very dark could have had my lights on route but a very small criticism it’s a beautiful place!

Service was top notch, exec room had a good capacity for four of us but the fourth 'camp bed' was rickety and noisy with the occupant struggling to get comfortable and the creaking of the metal ended up waking everyone when they tossed and turned. The whole place is in need of a lick of paint and some refreshing... It was enjoyable and the food in the main restaurant excellent but the new housing estate isn't shown on any of the advertising so was a bit of a shock on arrival and also viewing the car park and housing estate from the outside thermal pool wasn't the most pleasant..

A nice hotel in Bolton The area was nice and a convient location, accessible to the highways. The food was good. The gym was great and the thermal suite with its many saunas was fantastic. The beds and pillows were not comfortable at all. The hotel has no elevators since it is older so getting heavy luggage to the room was a hassle.

Superb The lady who greeted us at reception was a credit to your establishment. Polite and efficient. She also fixed a check in error seamlessly.

Very good As a regular I liked room and breakfast The views being blocked by new builds ,especially when in thermo spa, which was one of the high lights for this reason I doubt I will return.

I was pleasantly surprised, good location lovely and cozy atmosphere, the room was clean and tidy the spa was very good, we also had some food and drinks at the restaurant (was lovely) and the staff was absolutely the best, perfect for a relaxing weekend 🧖‍♀️ Definitely Worth it, I will come back!
A plus is that is also dog friendly, on that note I would really like to give a big thank you for all the staff and all the people who where there ready to make sure to keep my dog safe when he decided to open the door of the room himself and run out while we where at the Spa 💗 you’re all appreciated!

Perfectly fine but overpriced. Cottage rooms are extremely basic, they don't provide conditioner or moisturiser. My bed was quite badly made. The doors all slam very loudly which makes it very noisy. Breakfast very pleasant though and staff all very nice.

I stayed overnight as I was attending an event there. Firstly, the staff were really helpful and friendly, with no issues there. I stayed in one of the older rooms and it wasn't the best hotel room I've been in. Probably due a refurbishment, to be honest. Lots of loose threads around the borders of the carpets, patches of black mould on the sealant in the bathroom, stained toilet bowl ( due to age rather than lack of cleaning), ill-fitting shower screen resulting in large puddles of water on the bathroom floor. There were three radiators in the room, but only one worked, (two were missing the thermostatic vavle). The bathroom lock had at some point been broken off from the door and was glued into place (probably needs a new door, to be honest). There was no handset for the (very small) TV.
On the good side the room and bed were very large, lots of very hot water, very quiet and I got a good night's sleep.
We had a meal in the restaurant which was good, I'm vegetarian and there wasn't a fantastic choice but I managed to find something.
Public areas were clean and comfortable.
Overall, it was adequate for one night's stay, but I won't be returning.

pleasant enough but now restrictive 3 of us stay here at least twice a year and all really like it. you now have to book to use the thermal suite and are now restricted to 50 minutes which for us was not long enough. We wasn’t made aware of this until check in.

Stunning rooms, food was amazing. The spa was good, shame that the infinity pool overlooked the car park and new house built plot. Would recommend and would visit again 😁
