Continental was stale, the ‘hot’ drinks were cold and had to ask several times for them to be replaced.
The hot food was made to order. Repeatedly got our order wrong, the food was cold when it did come and poor quality. Took 25/30 minutes for breakfast to come once managed to get waiters attention to order and another 15 mins or so for them to get the right order.
The rooms looked nice but shower was barely warm, heating broken, kettle dirty.

The room was excellent with all equipment working, a comfy bed, space and it was warm (The weather was awful)
The bar staff and to a point reception were not as professional as I had expected - it was busy with two functions on but the bar areas were scruffy and tables needed wiping, staff stood in groups chatting, receptionists not coming to the desk to speak to you was all a bit unprofessional for a hotel with such a reputation.

The room was very clean and tidy. The check in receptionist was very helpful. The hotel leisure facilities were excellent. The breakfast service was a bit chaotic...being generous here!

Been here quite a few times over 2 years love the hotel but some of the housekeeping staff let place down and on this occasion one in particular didnt bother to clean our room.

The hotel was lovely, to have the use of the spa facilities were a bonus, however the main swimming pool was freezing.
the hotel reception staff were friendly. We stayed in cottage deluxe room which was lovely, the bathroom was tired and in need of updating.
Breakfast was great.
We booked the restaurant for evening meal and in my opinion don’t bother!!

A good place to stay for a business visit
I have stayed here before on a multitude of visits. Rooms are good, WIFI and Breakfast are good. This place has an excellent leisure centre, swimming pool and spa facility. It also has a pub attached where they have two screens if there are games on to watch.
The rooms are comfortable but vary in comfort. My room had a funny smell as you walk in!
Car Parking can be quite scarce and I have just leart that cameras are going up if you need to tag your car onto the side of a legitimate parking space. I drive a large SUV and sometimes when there are spaces its impossibble to park and get out of the car.

Good stay
I liked the sauna facilities , robes and towels , bed sheets were great quality very soft and beds were fantastic, staff were very polite and great. Great food at the restaurant. The Christmas decor was lovely
The restaurant prices were a bit high but food was actually very good, breakfast was very mediocre. I paid for a deluxe room but I think I got the standard one without any extra sitting area as advertised. I didn't like the distance to the room from the restaurant and facilities , i had to go outside to get to my room as it was far out in a different building

Fabulous stay. Great Christmas party night the band and DJ were brilliant and had the dance floor filled from the off. Food was very hot and tasty. Friendly staff, bedroom was clean with a very comfortable bed.

Special thanks to Franco — his attention to detail and outstanding customer service truly set the standard. The food was divine; we highly recommend the prawns in arrabbiata sauce to start and the fillet steak for the main course. Absolutely cooked to perfection! Hats off to the chef and the entire team of waiters and waitresses for creating a genuine 5-star dining experience.

Nice place, nice staff and facilities. Food could do with an upgrade, it's like a beefeater carvery amd too expensive for what it is. Gravy was not homemade and tasteless, and the meat was a bit cold although the staff were very helpful and offered to warm it or cut fresh off the joint. Reception staff were.incredibly polite and helpful. Would recommend staying here

The start, Jazmin was brilliant in the lead-up and on the day itself handing over to the operations team. We had over 150 people there, and the suite looked amazing. The food was fantastic — so many people told us how much they loved it — and the service was spot on. The whole team looked great and were really helpful, which made the day feel really special. Great location and lots of free parking. The hotel kindly donated some vouchers including A Spa Day in the fantastic Spa & Leisure Club - these went down a treat in the raffle. Thanks for helping us make it such a memorable event! Look forward to returning in the future.

A 5 star rating abd in this case justifiable .Rooms top nitch ,doa perfect with a lovely open wall to view out from .Food at night perfect as was the brrakfast .Staff in all departments smiling and willing to help .perfexr example ,very busy sundsy morning we ran out of milk so took my jug to refill on why back not one but 2 staff members smilesd and saud we would have got that for you ,despite being run off their feet .will be coming back again such a lovely stay thank you to you all .

The staff are super polite, friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. We always enjoy the bar, restaurants and spa facilities. The hotel is a great location for walks too!
We’ve stayed many times in different room options and all apart from 1 of the smaller rooms have been a little tired and in need of some updating. However, I feel this is reflected in the price and the facilities are always good.
