having to book time at the pool and spa cleanliness, there was a thick layer of dust in the bottom of the closet. no air conditioning £60 for breakfast for a family of four.

We were in the court yard rooms and it's very noisy If you have a ground floor, we were right next to the steps as well which didn't help with the early morning traffic checking out.

Great staff, clean room, comfortable bed and nice spa
The spa was much better than I expected: a good sized pool, great variety of rooms with different temperatures and humidities and a lovely thermal outdoor pool. The food was excellent and they catered for a gluten free diet with no problems. The staff at reception, in the restaurant and the bar were all excellent.

My son has Autism and it was his birthday the staff made such a fuss off him really going above and beyond from reception to the spa. The breakfast was lovely, bed are comfy and the spa and pool are very clean.
Its not that I didnt like it but pub on site for food was very expensive and very limited in the menu when we go back we would eat in the restaurant.

Great stay with family everything was excellent from start to finish .
If anything to mention just one thing about the room near ours 107 placed a full tray of food that they didn't seem to eat out on the corridor and it was there on the floor from tea time until the morning after , until cleaners arrived and took it away . It wasn't a nice view or smell left on the carpet when you are going into your room.

Great value for money stay at Bolton and will be back again in future.
Very good staff service. We got free upgrade to executive room which is really comfortable. In addition, the hotel also provided us a mini fridge as per our request. We are really appreciative of the extra service provided.

Lovely sunny couple of days which made the gardens look lovely. Room a little cold at night. Dining options good and food quality good. Room a little tired with damp patches on ceiling and carpet stained and worn which was supposed to be an upgrade (previous customer) so disappointed.

All around enjoyable
Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were helpful, they even brought me a fan at 3am because the room was very warm. I really enjoyed the spa facilities, all the facilities were available to be used.
The room got very warm at night and because our room was on the 2nd floor the window couldn't be opened more than 2 inches this could be improved if the room had air con or a fan already inside. Also booking a time slot for spa access just made it a concern that we wouldn't be able to enjoy the facilities on offer within 50 minutes
