Bake house 50% was under staffed and the poor young girl was on her own . Shop was full, not enough food order is , slow service . I waited 15 mins to buy 2 bottles of juice. I gave up wanting a few tray as not much left at 10:30 am.
The girl was ran off her feet. And probably gets paid a fraction of the managers , wisely the young girl called for backup, it arrived quickly but two managers all suited and started serving. They did ‘t have a clue and didn’t wash their hands when going to serve Behind the counter .
The reception area was like an airport, not enough staff and they did t have a clue. Check out was ridiculous

The location is lovely, the atmosphere is very welcoming, staff all lovely, food amazing 👏 Bed very comfortable No biscuits in the room and no hooks on bathroom door...nowhere to hang bathrobe. Room large enough for maybe 2 chairs and a small table

Decent Place for a night away.
Place is very tired and I need of a good revamp.
Rooms are dated but mostly clean, TV included. However there was black mold in the shower/bath. Bed is comfy.
Spa + swimming pool equally dated, lots of mold and moss in the grouting, could really do with a deep clean but otherwise decent enough.
Location is mixed, from the spa pool you can look into someone's house which was odd, however the actual place looks gorgeous - just don't turn around!

Visited with my wife for a one night spa break 25/7/25, having last visited the Last Drop back in 2002 for a friend’s wedding.

We spent a couple of hours in the Spa before my wife had a treatment, which she enjoyed and felt worth the money. The Spa area itself is pretty small and whilst the infinity pool was nice, with jacuzzi seating, it directly overlooks the car park and a housing estate, so not a particularly relaxing vista made worst by cars reversing in to the spaces directly below. Has also the normal sauna, steam, aroma therapy rooms and these were OK.

Our room was a superior room, which was a decent size and clean, but felt slightly dated and a little tired.

We ate in the main restaurant in the evening and overall the food was very good, with plenty of choice and could not fault the service, however like the room it was all a little tired, with the chairs particularly worn and saggy.

At the top of the village there are some excellent walks around the local countryside and we enjoyed a great Sunday morning walk to burn off breakfast and defiantly worth it as there are some great views too.

On breakfast, it was OK but it’s a continual or English (vegetation options available) with no other choices, such as eggs Benedict or omelettes, etc

Overall, we felt the hotel and spa to be average. It’s a good location and the little village setting adds an extra dimension but overall, repeating a word I’ve used a couple of times before, tired, and in need of some upgrades and maintenance.

Really enjoyed the facilities! We loved the facilities much better than expected The sofas in the bar were a bit ‘grubby’ and stained. The carpet in the rooms could do with a freshen up but no complaints we were really happy with the stay

An idyllic escape This is 3rd time we've had an over night stay at last drop and we love it, the staff are great, the room is comfy clean and has everything you need and the restaurant is exceptional. All guests we came across are friendly and welcoming cannot praise this place enough, thank you so much for our 24 hour escape 😀 Nothing. We wouldn't return if if there was anything at all

Fab stay First time we've stayed here and it won't be our last. Staff were lovely and food and leisure facilities were amazing. Also loved the onsite shops set on a cobbled street to make you feel like you were walking through a village

Room was huge and exceptionally clean.

Stayed here for a night whilst travelling for work. Nice grounds around the hotel and nice courtyards. The room i stayed in was located in the court yard, nice size room but could do with a refresh or lick of paint, it just smelt a bit old and damp. Bar and restaurant was good for drinks & dinner in the evening. Breakfast was questionable.... £18.50 for a luke warm full English with 1 of each item, very expensive for poor quality Breakfast. Swimming pool and spa was good to use, hotel provides towels and lockers. You may need to book in advance as it was quite busy. Not sure if I'd visit here again.

The food was extremely good quality, great work Chefs :-)
The village adds that special touch to the hotel amenities. Lots of lovely little shops.
Great maps for local walks at every level.
We shared a room with two teenagers and the room size was great.

Good family mini break Quick check in, plenty of parking. Our family room was big and the beds were comfortable.
We enjoyed the breakfast, we were seated quickly and the food was good.
Me and my girls enjoyed the swimming pool which was part of the booking
Our room was dated as was the bathroom. The room had a big, burnt iron mark on the carpet. (103)
We were woken up early on Sunday morning by a group of four people queuing outside our bedroom window for the spa. Very noisy, and not a nice way to start the day.
The spa's changing area including the showers were rather grubby, moldy and needs refurbishing. It was quite grim when I was having a shower.

Nice hotel with good facilities, room was of decent size, had what you would expect, I was situated in the courtyard which was just a two storey horseshoe shaped building with a decorative fountain in middle which looked nice, had a nice outdoor area, unfortunately it was raining during my visit so wasn't in use, bar/restaurant area was nice had a good ambiance and food was nice.
Overall it was a pleasant stay

Enjoyable short stay Generally all was good , the spa area was excellent as was the bar/ restaurant area .All the staff were very good , especially on reception . Cleanliness in our room . I put some trousers on the shelf in the wardrobe and they were covered in dust . There was also crisps under the camp bed that had not been cleaned up from a previous occupant.
