Relaxing spa, great comfortable beds, quality breakfast Accommodation, staff spa and breakfast made the weekend relaxing. Surprised to be asked for £5 each for use of a bath robe in the spa when full use of the spa was included in the room booking!!!

Stunning place and spa, but double check the rooms your booking before you do to avoid disappointmen The bed in the room was very comfortable, the spa was excellent and the grounds of the hotel is stunning, all staff members where really pleasant. We was 'uprgraded' as there was an issue with the radiator in our room (hangin off the wall) however the room we was upgraded to felt like we had just walked into a residential home, it was awful... the receptionist was lovely about the whole thing in our original room and gave us a drinks voucher however it did kind of put a downer on the night as part of coming to a hotel is to stay in a lovely room. The TV in the room (310) is miles away from the bed, not infront of the bed on the wall, like all the way over at the left hand side of the room. Bar food menu is extremely overpriced for the quality of the food and the menu choice is quite boring. I asked if a special request could be made in the room, anything extra such as rose petals etc as a hotel&spa receptionist myself i know this isnt always possible, however i did receive an email back saying the hotel have agreed to my request however there was nothing in the room, if it wasnt possible that was absolutely fine but i dont agree with saying you could but then dont

Goof spa hotel, in an incredibly pretty mini village. Great spa facilities, Great breakfast, Room had to be changed (window jammed open). Staff at reception seemed a little over worked at times.

fine for our purposes location was good for our purposes some of the spaces needed cleaning - eg the top of the wardrobe in room 77 was filthy and had clothes left behind by other guests - clearly been there for a long time and our suit bags ended up disgusting. Check in / out, despite being online wasn’t as you still needed to queue at the desk.

I was a little surprised an disappointed that the hotel is at the end of a new housing development and the hydro pool overlooking the car park but we did have a very relaxing overnight stay. The pool and spa are extremely clean and the spa offers 5 different rooms. The pool water is very warm. We had bought the romantic package and enjoyed the bottle of Champagne, fruit and chocolate in our room before going to dinner. I chose the grilled tuna steak which was really juicy and succulent. The bed was really comfortable and the location really quiet so we had an excellent night sleep.

We got married here 18 years ago and came back for our anniversary.
The hotel is looking quite dated now and needs a little tlc as does the spa. We spent a couple of hours in the spa but things weren’t working properly and it now literally overlooks a building site - such a shame.
We booked a double room but got a twin room we told reception and nothing was done about this. There was also only one towel in the room .
We ate in the restaurant - the food was delicious and we had a nice night sat in the bar.
We did enjoy our stay and it was good value (on groupon) but the hotel overall is looking a bit dated

Very pleasant All the staff very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Pool and Spa decent. The room was very small and overpriced for the size. Others paid less for their rooms and got bigger, far superior ones. The shower floor was so slippery, it was dangerous...needs a mat.

I have visited many times over the years, and 5 times since January, and will be back over the coming months.
This is how much I love it here.
The staff are professional and friendly, the waiting staff in the evening are brilliant, polite and efficient.
The food has never been short of beautiful, the bowland beef is STUNNING as is the broccolli abd stilton soup.
Breakfast is a relaxed atmosphere even when busy and the staff are quick to help you with anything you need. The breakfast food is delicious!

The hydro pool and spa is so so enjoyable and relaxing and there are several sauna and steam room, plus a salt room to use.

The rooms are spacious and beds are super comfy, if u fancy a bit more character, I would book a cottage room, the views are nice if the cottage gardens.
Ive stayed in many rooms but so far room 50 of the cottages has been my favorite for uts character charm and location within the hotel (it's situated in the heart of the village)

Will continue to return time and time again with family, friends and my partner.
The hotel is welcoming of children too which is brilliant, my kids enjoyed splashing in the pool and playing outside on the grass in the sunshine.

Can't fault the place.!=

Very nice stay Breakfast really good! Location very good Although I only had a standard double room it was very comfortable and clean and well equipped I was attending a wedding and there was enough accomodation for all the guests who wanted to stay so we were all booked into one place which was nice

I always loved the last drop but even though it's still nice, it's not as nice. Development of the grounds leave me thinking how beautiful it used to be. Now I think how busy it looks.
Still good service and good.. Lovely for events and if you never knew it ask those years ago you'd still be impressed.
For me..I miss the old last drop...btw where did the pub sign go? The wonderfully descriptive sigh.

Many of the hotel's systems of work are deeply flawed but could be readily fixed for the benefit of both staff members and customers. The General Manager has a great deal of work to do - I will need a great deal of persuasion to stay here again unless I can be assured that there have been many improvements made.

Comfy beds in a hotel in need of an update. The family room was large and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was acceptable. Standard of hygiene was middling. The property also promises to be in the countryside but the reality is that most rooms have a view of a new housing estate or car parks. The decor in the rooms and in the hotel itself (including the spa) is dated throughout and in need of a thorough update.

Mine was a one-night stay so I can't comment on the spa experience. My room in the main building was quiet and very comfortable. A full cooked breakfast made this vegan very happy. The staff knew their jobs and were very helpful.
The immediate area around the hotel has been recently developed for housing, detracting from the otherwise stunning rural location.

Average hotel. It was close to the wedding venue, had plenty of parking Rooms were dated, check in was a challenge, cooked breakfast wasn't great, the staff seemed overwhelmed the whole time we were there. We had breakfast and dinner there, the bar was permanently understaffed, and very very expensive. Tea and coffee in the morning was hard to come by and luke warm when we got it. The tea and coffee in the room was also insufficient unfortunately. The spa was ok, but I sat on one of the benches and nearly fell on the floor as it was broken. The spa could also have been a lot cleaner.

We had our wedding at the last drop village in the harmony suite on May 20th 2022.
From start to finish including delays due to covid, Liz the wedding coordinator could not have been more helpful.
We live approximately 200 miles from the last drop, but planning the wedding was easy with Liz's guidance and helpful suggestions on who to use for cake, flowers etc. Nothing was ever to much trouble for Liz who takes everything in her stride and is very reassuring throughout the whole process that our wedding day would be perfect. On the day everything was absolutely perfect and ran like clock work, Zoe our master of ceremonies on the day was outstanding, calm and made sure the day ran smoothly. All our guests commented on the lovely hotel and staff , some wishing they had stayed more nights. I can't thank Liz, Zoe and all the team at the last drop for making our day perfect. I would recommend the last drop to anybody thinking of using them for a wedding.

The outside was stunning, with the function room abd pub next door to the hotel and spa so you dont have to go far, it also has an outside seating area. Wish I got a photo but at night it's all lit up with fairy lights .
Rooms are surer spacious and accommodate everything for a wedding. The two photos attached are two different rooms facing each other and decorated beautifully. The dance floor was big, as its an old building they have a beautiful asthetic to them with the wooden beams throughout the buidling on the ceilings. They also cater for wedding and the food is superb.
I would 100% recommend anyone throwing any event here, the drinks are not overpriced too with very nice staff. There's a really big parking lot if you wanted to drive up.
