We stayed at the hotel whilst attending a wedding locally.
There were many members of the wedding party at the hotel and we pretty much took over the bar on the Friday night and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating.
The breakfast staff were friendly and efficient and the food hot and delicious.
The staff in the spa were friendly and extremely helpful.
Our room was clean and welcoming and the housekeeping staff were excellent.
I cannot praise this hotel enough and would highly recommend it.

We stayed for a friend’s wedding. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The place is quaint and the room was comfortable and clean, the shower was really good. The only downside is the walls/ceilings between rooms must be very thin. The room above us obviously enjoyed a few drinks into the small hours and we were kept awake by their conversation, footsteps above (and subsequent vomiting at 5:30am) I don’t think they were being excessively loud but it sounded like they were in our bathroom, not an entirely different room. I’d recommend earplugs for a good nights sleep if you’re not planning on partying yourselves

We had our wedding at the last drop in July and we would recommend them to anyone wanting a unique village style wedding.
The Penny Farthing Suite was absolutely stunning and the perfect location for our big day.
Our Wedding Coordinator, Tara, was fantastic all the way through the planning and on the day. She answered all our questions and dealt with our last minute changes without stress, making us feel so much more relaxed. The day was organised to perfection and we couldn’t thank Tara enough :)
On the day, Nasa was amazing at keeping everything organised and making sure we had a great time. He was relaxed and made us laugh throughout the day 😊
All the waiters and bar staff were friendly and great throughout the whole day and all our guests have commented on how great the staff were.
Our day was absolutely perfect and we couldn’t thank the whole team at the last drop enough for ensuring we had the best day ever. Rachel and Alice xxx

Very good hotel & Spa. Will definitely stay again. Spa facilities excellent & the bar was very good. Room was clean & comfortable. Staff helpful & friendly. The tea did not open until 10am for breakfast. It would have been more convenient if it had opened a little earlier.

Good - the spa and the infinity pool - lovely! The ladies providing the treatments were also great friendly, chatty, and you're left wanting more!

The bad - lunch. Can I get you tea or coffee? One tea and one coffe please. It arrives but how are we to drink said offerings? The couple at the table next to us took their lives in their hands and went foraging for the elusive cup and saucer. That returned, triumphant, happy to then enjoy their liquid delights. Dare we venture forth? We did but sadly no cups or saucers revealed themselves. Oh well, we'll ask, in expectant knowledge/hope they'd arrive shortly. What fools are! We ventured forth again and captured one desperate cup with it's saucer counterpart. But, we needed 2. What to do? We had to physically get up and approach the staff to then get what we should have had at the start of our meal. Not good!

But, there's more? More? Yes, gather close. It seems our meal should have come with a glass of prosecco each. Did we get ours? Did the table next to us? The last at the table next to us reminded the waiters of their omission and theirs arrived. Ours? Nope, nothing doing.

Oh, and the scones were dry and the service - yrs, you've guessed it - could do better!! I shan't mention the other couple who complained about their meal, who, having had it replaced had just cause to complain again.

The spa is great, the food?? Could definitely do better. Not overly impressed given this was a birthday present.

We attended a wedding in September. The room was decorated beautifully. The food was lovely, especially the sticky toffee pudding! Amazing! The bar staff were great, especially Harriet, Brandon and Ian. Would definitely recommend this venue.

Pricey and weddings come first Spa facilities were good very clean and relaxing. Staff were very helpful. Its mainly catered for weddings. We couldntbise some of the onsite facilities such as the pub as weddings were taking place. Think the hotel should warm non wedding guests that these areas may be out of use before booking. Thought this would be somewhere different to book but could only sit in the hotel bar where drinks selection ie lagers were restricted and expensive. This was a birthday treat and for the money spent 134 for one night could have stayed somewhere alot more relaxing and welcoming.

My friends booked this hotel on a 1 night spa break for my birthday. They know how much I love being pampered and it was a great present.

We arrived late and was welcomed at reception and checked in with no problems.

In the morning we went for breakfast and there was a full buffet available or you could order from the menu. It was delicious.

The spa was lovely a large pool area and then a private area for adults with an outside covered pool with rain fall fountain, sauna and steam room. It had a very relaxing atmosphere.

The treatments were lovely and we liked the relaxation area.

The therapist didn’t ask me any questions about what I would like to get out of the treatment or any areas to focus on or pressure. She just told me to get undressed and lie on the bed but the massage was nice anyway. I like to close my eyes to relax and enjoy the treatment but the therapist talked all the way through it. She was a lovely woman and I’m far to polite to tell her to stop talking.

We did have afternoon tea one vegan one vegetarian and me. We enjoyed our fizz and my tea was nice I just felt a little sorry for my vegan friend as it was very limited uninspiring and fruit on a stick.

I would recommend and return but maybe leave the afternoon tea.

Great service for dinner from the two men behind the bar who were brilliant! Location did not have the rural views I thought it was going to have? The two men behind the bar serving drinks and indeed food were absolutely brilliant, friendly and put us at complete ease. They are a credit to your hotel. It was obviously a busy evening due to a wedding reception?

I can not speak enough of the chef at the tea shop, sammy was so attentive to our needs for our afternoon tea the sandwiches were lovely and her customer service for a chef made us feel special will come here again just to see her.

We got a wowcher deal. Cracking value for money. Spa was average- hydrotherapy pool very nice. Spa treatments extortionate prices.

Room was dingy. Barely any natural light. 2 small windows- view was of a wall and a flat roof with yucky cigarette stumps. Beds comfortable, room clean enough.

Afternoon tea- no. Just not impressed. Bread stale- cakes ok but scones where rock solid and cold. :(

Unfortunately throughout the night I was sick! Now, i wont point the finger as it could of been either the afternoon tea or dinner. However, at breakfast I decided maybe something simply didn't agree with me- so i ate something. Yet again- about 40 mins later- poorly again! A very sad tummy im afraid!

Unfortunately on this basis, I won't be returning. However, grounds are beautiful, shops and pub are adorable- like a little village. Parking is adequate. Staff seemed very friendly.

Good trip Spa was great, very quiet first thing, room was large and comfy. Food and drink good, friendly and helpful staff. Fitness centre is public, so I got chatting to some really friendly members. Hotel was nicely laid out, with lots of different styles of buildings. Very pretty. It's always other guests that let a venue down. Noisy neighbours, and inconsiderate smokers outside our room at 2am. Reception staff acted immediately tho, and sorted it all out.

Just returned from our latest overnight spa break at Last Drop. We absolutely loved it! The spa facilities are fabulous, so relaxing!

We had the three course meal in the restaurant, the food is fantastic and the service is amazing, our server Sarah couldn’t do enough for us, her professionalism and attention is fantastic and rarely seen in restaurants anymore she is an asset to your team as I told her she was one of the reasons for our return!

This is our second spa break package and certainly won’t be our last, if I had to find any negative at all then the bar prices are a little pricey other than that our overall package is definitely value for money
