Nice room and pleasant staff. Most of the staff went out of the way to be helpful. We were late for a wedding and running to get there on time. We went to reception who gave us vague instructions of where the event was taking place. I think she could have gone out of her way more.

We came to Bolton, not an obvious weekend destination, to visit granny. The hotel facilities were extensive: good spa, gym and swimming pool, large rooms with decent TV to keep the kids happy. The food was delicious. Even the kids meals were tasty. Ian, the bar manager, instinctively knew this mum need a large glass of Merlot with her food! We will be coming back.

Pleasant The hotel was lovely. Great surroundings. Room very disappointed with, mould round bath. Dirty marks on walls...looked like it needed a good clean

On Sunday morning, I went to the breakfast buffet and the girl, Katie, who was bringing the food out was extremely friendly and ensured we were satisfied with the food on offer. We never did without as she was efficient and took good care. The service in the restaurant cannot be faulted.

I visited Last Drop Village after finding a deal on Wowcher for overnight stay with dinner, breakfast, two glasses of prosecco, use of spa facilities and two 25 minute treatments. Even with a small supplement for a Saturday night it was still really good value for money.
Upon arrival it was immediately evident that there was a wedding going on, and the car park was full. There is plenty of parking around the back of the hotel but it's not clearly signed and we had to obtain a map from reception before being able to find it.
Reception and the Courtyard Bar were full of wedding guests, but staff were coping well and were very friendly and efficient at check in.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, with bathrobes and slippers left on the bed for us to use in the spa. It was a bit rough around the edges, with a stained carpet and parts of the bathroom which had seen better days, but nothing really to complain about.
We headed straight to the tea shop for a cake before we went to the spa. We opted for a cream tea between us, as it comes with two very large scones and a pot of tea. The scones were warm and tasty. We just had to go to the counter to get milk, as it was forgotten and the waitress was running around too much for us to grab her.
We got changed into our swimming clothes and robes in the room, as we could walk to the spa without going into the main part of the hotel (there are changing rooms with lockers in the spa though). Staff in the spa were also very friendly, and our treatments were really good. I was very impressed with my lady, as she really took note when I said I wanted a relaxing massage without too much pressure (I find most people still apply too much pressure). After the treatments we made use of the spa's thermal suite. It was extremely busy in there due to other Wowcher users and some hen parties, but we still managed to use all of the six different rooms and the hydro pool. It did start to empty out and get a bit quieter eventually as well.
In the evening we headed to the bar and enjoyed our free prosecco - again the staff were very nice. We'd reserved a table in the Courtyard Restaurant for dinner when we booked the trip a long time before, which I was glad about because it's much nicer than the Last Drop Inn which was the standard restaurant for Wowcher guests. The ambiance was nice with some live piano, and we were mostly impressed with the food (just one main of lamb koftas could have been better). The Biscoff cheesecake was divine. Staff were generally good, except one waiter who forgot a few things like jugs of water. After dinner we headed back to the Courtyard Bar, which was showing football and was still very busy at past 11pm.
Breakfast was served in the Last Drop Inn for Wowcher guests. The Courtyard Restaurant option again looked much nicer, but we didn't want to push it as we'd managed to get in there for dinner. The selection in the Inn was okay, with hot and cold buffet options including fruits, meats and cheeses. The main thing that let it down for me was the lack of hash browns, which are my favourite!
The Village is quite quirky, with lots of little shops and places to eat and drink. Some of it is quite dark, like the tea shop and the Inn, due to very small/no windows. It reminded me of places I've visited in America, where they try to create an oldy-worldy feel but just miss the mark. It was cosy though, and most places had a nice atmosphere. The fairy lights around the outdoor areas were a nice touch.
All in all we had a lovely weekend here. My husband had visited about 15 years previously when it used to be a Macdonald venue, and said that it used to be much better - something which is echoed in other reviews. I would still return though, but probably only with another deal.

See above Leisure facilities were very good. Room was comfortable on the whole although a little bit warm. I was here for a conference too and the food and facilities for that were very good. I had a Chicken Caesar Salad in the eve which I thought was a tad expensive for what it was but all staff I cam across were very friendly and overall i would recommend the hotel to others. Thank you for a good stay. See about

Enjoyable, relaxing birthday treat. I thought the hotel was looking a little dated in parts but the facilities were very good, my wife and I had a very nice meal in the evening and the breakfast was first class. We stayed in an executive room and the bed was very comfortable although the pillows were a bit hard. The shower was not the best as the water kept going hot and cold. Overall it was an enjoyable birthday treat for my wife and I would go back again.

Pleasant Modern reception and Spa. Very picturesque, as you approach the hotel it reminded me of Kellerman’s from dirty dancing. Lovely that it has its own little village. Dirty carpet in the room and stains up the wall. Walls were paper thin so could hear everything, especially people coming up the steps. Not very friendly for people with mobility restrictions.

Great location just out of town - a short drive to the centre. Well appointed but slightly tired. A friendly welcome and a clean, comfortable bedroom. That's I need. I skipped breakfast but from a previous stay here I can recommend the 'Full English'

Excellent stay in a modern luxurious hotel with friendly staff and amazing spa facilities. Perfect! Lovely spa facilities and really modern room! Gorgeous food in the restaurant for breakfast and an evening meal The cleanliness of the room wasn’t excellent. Dust, drink spill marks, mugs provided had already been used and mould in shower. The outside pool in the spa overlooked onto construction site so not very peaceful. 2 of the spa rooms were out of order

We went to the Last drop village Hotel for my boyfriends birthday and we had the most relaxing overnight stay. All the staff were super friendly and kind, especially Harriet in the restaurant who made our evening fun and enjoyable. The thermal bath and saunas are a must. Such a shame we only had one night there as it would have been nic to spend more time exploring and relaxing.

Just had another fabulous Spa Weekend at The Last Drop and from the first welcome on arrival to the last speedy check-out, Jane and her team looked after everyone and nothing was too much trouble. Not sure if I should say this but everyone looking after us, especially at the Party Night, appeared to have as much fun as we did. Of course the ladies at the Spa worked their magic and the lovely delicacies at the Tea Room rounded off the weekend nicely. Well done everyone, keep up the good work, we will be back!

Very good although staff seemed to be on edge in bar and restaurant. No potatoes served with the pie Beds were very comfortable. No bottled water in bedrooms, also no information on local sightseeing available to peruse at leisure.

We attended the last drop village this weekend for our 4th annual Zumba weekend!! I can't thank the staff enough for all your hard work and help over the weekend, you went above and beyond. Everyone had an amazing time!! A Special mention to Jane, for all your hard work this weekend yet again. And a special mention to Dave (aka mr deeds) for helping us during the weekend. Karen and Chloe, thank you for your help behind the scenes leading up to the event. It couldn't have gone any better and I will be booking again for next year's event. Everyone can't wait 😊

Delusions of grandeur Breakfast was really nice and the bed was comfy and the TV and shower were great. A lot of dirt in the room, dirty towels, tea and coffee splashes on the walls, dusty carpet. The walls were paper thin so every time someome walked up the stairs or down the corridor it woke us up. They charge a £5 per person tray charge for room service!!! I have had room service in some really fancy hotels that didn't charge that! I dont know why this place thinks thats OK... especially after you have already paid about £20 for your meal and a drink each! No one cleaned our room even though we left the room at midday... not exactly late? No mini bar or fridge so if you want a soft drink you have to walk to the bar to get it or pay £5 tray charge for them to bring you one!
