A nice experience but very very extortionate prices behind the bars. for drink and food. Rooms a little dated could do with an upgrade.

Exceptional We had stayed before so returned because we enjoyed it so much. The main draw were the spa facilities. Highly recommended. Nothing to dislike.

A massive thank you to Steph & Leeanne our massage therapists that took care of us during our stay. Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Beautiful room, waterfall shower was to die for. Will definitely be returning.

We got married at the last drop last weekend and I just want to say liz & the team were amazing how they looked after us. Liz is so down to earth and such a lovely lady with a good sense of humour. She looked after us and made sure we had the best day even though the intense heat was getting to all of us it never phased her. Also a big shout out to Nasser our master of ceremony he was so lovey & friendly as was everyone who served our wedding breakfast. The place itself is so idyllic and just a beautiful setting for wedding photos. Loved every minute of our big day

Recent three night stay at Last Drop Hotel & Spa in Bolton. Arrived in the middle of the heatwave which was challenging sleepwise. All staff so friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast and had dinner in the dining room on one evening with friends which was very enjoyable. Samara on reception extremely helpful and friendly

Pleasant Facilities and staff are excellent. I love the village-y feel. Not being able to open a window or cool down the room (which was around 30 degrees) made it very difficult for us to sleep, especially the children.

The spa is great. Large swimming pool (25m?), large hot pool with outdoor exposure and jets, and five saunas with varying heat/humidity/aroma, plus a large exercise room with treadmills and various weight machines. The rooms are spread over a sprawling complex of stone buildings, with multiple flights of stairs to reach some of them. Very comfortable rooms. No air conditioning, and Aug 2022 was unusually hot. The hotel is on the edge of the pennines, with footpaths leading right from the hotel.

We purchased a Groupon as a last minute treat and we weren't disappointed. The website is a little misleading as it shows the resort as being quite remote where, in reality, there is an extensive housing estate very close and we felt that this impacted the privacy of the spa experience

Have been to this hotel approximately 15 times over the past 30 years.
1st visit post lock down and very disappointed at the way it has slipped.
Had an executive room which was very tired and in desperate need of decorating. The bath was very shabby with mould all around the grouting and paint peeling off the side of bath. There is no longer a trouser press in the room. There used to be individual packets of biscuits and a bowl of fruit in each room but these are no longer available. No room service due to staff shortages and bar not opened until evening so unable to get a drink unless you go outside into courtyard. Evening meal is now 2 course included in price instead of three and choice very limited.
The price of rooms have increased, along with everything else in this country but unfortunately the service and small touches that made this hotel so unique are no longer there. It’s such a shame to see this as we have so many happy memories of this hotel of my children growing up and spending lots of time here. Do not think we will be returning.

Booked a day spa with my wife, Great staff very friendly & helpful.
Gym was decent a few machines not working, spa had everything you would expect including a good sized pool.
The hydrotherapy pool could do with a clean as some of the tile had green on them.
The massage was OK nothing special but not bad.
The afternoon tea was very nice all in all a good experience.

Most recently I attended a wedding evening event and the food was really nice. I have been a few times here and since the opening of new houses being built right onto the doorstep of last drop I don't think I'll be going staying over anytime soon.

I was treated to a surprise weekend Spa stay here on Saturday/ Sunday.
What a beautiful place and stay it was.
From checking in to checking out the facilities and staff could not have been better or more helpful.
The room was spacious, clean and tidy.
The restaurant was lovely, both the breakfast and evening meal was delicious and served with a smile and friendly and attentive staff.
The Spa facilities were again a fantastic experience that made the stay such a wonderful experience.
We will definitely stay again and I would recommend it for any couple looking a special time away.
Thank you Karen and Judy for arranging a wonderful weekend at a very special Hotel and Spa.

Booked a deal for a spa stay and it was just what we needed! We were really surprised by how lovely our room was and the shower was amazing! Really clean throughout the hotel, bar, restaurant and spa. The spa was the highlight with many different facilities available, including a slightly cooler sauna along with the normal crazy hot one! The aromatherapy steam room was incredibly relaxing. The hydrotherapy pool was a real treat! Yes it looked over the car park and housing estate, no that didn’t bother us! Looking out over rolling hills would’ve been the icing on the cake but the spa itself is so relaxing it really didn’t matter what the outlook was. The restaurant was nice and the food was delicious. We both had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. Excellent breakfast with a huge range of choices from the usual full English to continental style foods. All the members of staff we were served by were lovely, chatty and really helpful. A true credit to the hotel. The little village with the pub and shops was really quirky but sadly none were open before we had to leave. Hopefully we can look in the shops next time. We loved our stay and really hope to be back again soon.

Visited for a short stay last week and had a full body massage today. Lydia is an excellent masseuse. It was very thorough and helped with my pain level.

I don't have much more to add but I had to write 200 words.

Average Good very nice. Staff friendly and welcoming Hairs in bathroom when we arrived. Not enough bath robes and towels for amount of guests. Lift was forced open by cleaners in the morning meaning y disabled mum had to go up and down the stairs rather than using the lifts.

Would definitely use again and would highly recommend. We upgraded to a family room so had more space which we were pleased with. Restaurant manager is an asset to this hotel and his absence from breakfast was noticeable on day 1. Breakfast selection is very good but young unsupervised staff didn't do this hotel justice on our 1st day. We ate in the restaurant twice, day 1 food was less than average, day 2 food was excellent! Spa facilities are excellent although duty staff should be visible to ensure rules are being followed. Lots of photography and filming taking place! We had a couple of issues which were immediately rectified by the duty manager.
