We stayed there for 4days just after Christmas. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. We stayed at the excequtive room with 2large dogs. Room was spacious with a super king size bed and two little arm chair and table . There was a big wardrobe with safe in there. The room has a large tv with lots of channels. Toilet was in the bathroom there was a hairdryer as well and shower gel in the bathroom. Our room was on the second floor overlooking to the spa area and amazing view to the nature and town. Very quiet . Spa area is amazing surprisely whenever we went it was quiet and never been packed so we always had a chance being their on our own. Which gives you an extra bonus relaxing feeling.There is 1 swimming pool with somemusic at night and the other area has 4sauna and the hot tub pool which is overlooking to the car park and in a far distance you can see some hills and town. Our booking was with breakfast . It was from 7-11am. There was full english and some bakery and joghurt and some Jam and honey, juices ,coffe ,tea . All you can eat style. There is a lots of different route for a nice walk with doggies. Amazing place!
I didn’t like the pillow it wasn’t comfortable. Our room never been topped up with coffe and tea and also they didn’t take our rubbish which we left right next to our bin in the black bin bag:/ On booking.com when i picked my room there was a sofa including but when we arrived they said they only have one of that kind of room and they gave us an other room without it, so it was a bit missleading that picture on this page. There is a construction going on just right opposite this hotel which ruined the whole view from our room and pool as well.

Excellent stay and would definitely stay again
Staff very friendly and polite nothing is to much trouble, evening meal was a set menu with plenty of choice and freshly cooked, again excellent service !
Upgraded to the executive suite with the thought of stunning views being on the ground floor this was not the case slightly disappointed, had some trouble with toilet flushing and ended up using communal toilet by reception I reported this issue to reception but nothing seemed to be done it was only when the chamber maid reported it the problem was sorted while we were out,soon after returning a young lady knocked to make sure everything was ok.

The facilities and spa were absolutely amazing.
In room 60 the toilet didn’t flush very well and the radiator was turned on full blast for 2 days and the gauge was broke so we couldn’t turn the heat down.

Booked for one night on the Black Friday deal. The hotel itself is looking a bit tired but for the price we paid it was very good value for money. Didn't sleep well at all though as it was very hot in the room and every time I turned the thermostat down it turned itself back up again.

Birthday spa day surprise from my beautiful girlfriend. 10am appt and was told I was going milking cows haha which was a lie thankfully. Karen was the masseuse and it was the best massage I've had she comes highly recommended with a detailed experience regarding the oils, treatment and aftercare. On top of that what a soothing voice 10/10.

Food at the restaurant
The reception and spa staff were lovely and the room was brilliant. We really enjoyed our stay in terms on the room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious.
The restaurant staff came across quite rude and disinterested. We had to wait 20 minutes just to be given a desert menu. I would be more understanding if the restaurant had been busy but it wasn’t. The food once it came was lovely but between waiting for the menu and getting our desert we had to wait 45 minutes which is ridiculous just to get a sticky toffee pudding. Definitely not value for money! When we politely passed on our thoughts to the waiter he was very dismissive. Myself and my partner were left very underwhelmed.

The staff are excellent and will go beyond the call of duty. The breakfast is excellent. The facilities are very good. A second chair in the twin room would have made the room excellent.

We meet here every year for family gathering. Food and staff all great but much busier than usual.
everything was fine. Really enjoyed the evening meal although apparently veg option wasnt too great for the veggies. Staff were friendly enough and on the whole we all had a lovely time.

Twenty years ago I was at this hotel for a family wedding and it was great then. I moved away and decided to visit here whilst back in my hometown. Greeted by Michelle on reception, clearly a lady who enjoys her job and engaged in making my stay a memorable one for all the right reasons. The room was large, clean and comfortable. No faff with additional extras that raise the price unnecessarily. The spa where I was greeted by Sophie was brilliant. The outdoor pool 🏊♀️ was really unexpected and the facilities and treatment wonderful. Dinner in the restaurant where excellent food and service provided by Ben rounded off a perfect day. Had a really great sleep in a very comfortable bed and breakfast was just superb. Value for money, a rarity was the thing that will definitely make this a place I will return to regularly now. Thankyou to everyone who made my stay fabulous, it was appreciated. I totally recommend a stay here, it was a superb break from reality and stresses of everyday life.

We went with our family on Friday night stayed in room 103. We arrived and the staff were brilliant, went to the room which was nice. Took the kids to the spa which was nice with infinity pool. We have booked into the court yard restaurant for a 3 course meal. We were part of a package so we’re not expecting that much. I got the kids to rate it 10/10 and honestly I would give a strong 9. We went to the pub afterwards and was told it was closing at 8.30- that would be the only negative, the main bar was still open but didn’t have any pub games. We did go to the main bar and had a drink, the staff were brilliant with the kids, the bar manager making my daughter paper hats, paper frogs and getting her paper for colouring. Fantastic service and a good bunch of staff. We had a good sleep apart from the usual issues of people coming in at 2-3 in the morning shouting in corridors. The Buffett breakfast was very good. Overall a brilliant experience and we will be back.

We had a fantastic night on Friday for our Christmas Party. Fantastic service by the bar team of Ryan, Niamh and Jemma. Keep up the excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble and they all had smile on their faces.

Had the most amazing afternoon. The food was great and the children were served first which was excellent . Entertainment and Santa were fab for the children with presents with all the children’s names on which was a great touch as others we have been to it’s just lucky dip presents. My three year old grandson was poorly and fell asleep but when he woke up he was so upset he had missed his food and ice cream and a young waiter named Jack couldn’t do enough for us , asking if we need anything and getting Sammy new food and ice cream. Please pass on our thanks his attention to service was above and beyond. This young man will go a long way in life with this attitude and attention to detail . Just so he knows who we were we were sat at Table 27. Happy Christmas to all the staff who worked very hard today .

The drive up and entrance give the impression of a very smart hotel. The service and standards were variable. Some staff were extremely helpful and others were not. The restaurant menu and food was average and the breakfast to order looked as if had been cooked for a while. It felt as if no one was in overall control.

12 months planning for their big day and what a fantastic day it was! This could only have happened with Jacqueline's expertise and attention to detail. Everything that was asked for was not only delivered but totally exceeded. From the ceremony to the wedding breakfast and reception everything ran smoothly. I can't even begin to imagine how hard Jacqueline and the team worked throughout the day to make it so special. We decided to stay for 3 nights in total. The courtyard room was extremely spacious with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet had a massive variety and the staff were wonderful, friendly and attentive. We ate once in the restaurant, the steak was delicious and cooked perfectly as requested. Again, nothing was too much trouble from the staff. During the day we spent most of the time in the spa, thoroughly relaxing with a decent size pool, sauna and steam room facilities. I can't finish this review without mentioning Jacqueline again, she is a huge asset to your organisation and deserves every recognition possible. Thank you!

The staff at this hotel are wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. I would like to say a very special thank you to Jacqueline the wedding planner at this hotel. My wedding was perfect and the biggest reason for this was you. Nothing was ever a problem and you made everything I wanted possible. Me and Matthew cannot thank you enough for the last 12 months planning our big day and giving us the day of our dreams. If anybody is thinking of having a wedding here do it! Had a great night for our wedding anniversary . Stayed there many times and always enjoyed it, especially the spa. Nice to see on this visit that lots of small improvements had been made (new carpets and refreshed decor etc. The staff were all great and we felt very welcome. The three course evening meal and breakfast were superb and We would definitely be staying again.

The Hotel is in a lovely quiet location, the room (we were given an upgrade to what we had booked) was very comfortable, and the food was excellent both in the evening and for breakfast. There's also a good Spa attached to the hotel. The Reception staff were very attentive. We had booked on a Black Friday Deal, and so received very good value (we can't rate for normal prices)
