Very good I like the friendliness of the place I stayed with my daughter and daughter in law before for a ladies night and had a fantastic stay from start to finish so said we would go back with the fellers and even though we were accommodated all together in the cottages and it was lovely and quiet the rooms were disappointing the bed wasn’t put together properly and the carpets looked like could do with deep shampoo and the rooms a bit of paint

Spa facilities were fabulous . Food in the restaurant was mediocre and overpriced . Hotel rooms were of good standard and very clean . Some staff were very pleasant a few did seem miserable lack of information available regarding facilities although reception were helpful

Was here for my work's Christmas do. We had the private room. Great night and Reece & James the guys who looked after us all night were amazing. Couldn't praise them enough. Would recommend and go again.

My son bought me a gift voucher for Last Drop as a birthday present. Parking was easy as was check in with the very helpful staff. The room was pleasant although did have a slight musty smell from the carpet. We thought the bedroom furniture could do with an upgrade but the bed was lovely and comfy. Unfortunately the bathroom although clean a little more attention to detail is required, I'm not really a fan of black mould on my shower curtain and tiles. The Spa and treatments we received we're second to non as was the evening meal and breakfast in the morning.

The hotel is lovely and the layout of the accommodation is very picturesque. Our evening meal and breakfast were very good. The spa was nice and the shops on site made a nice change. Our bedroom was set in a little courtyard with a wee fountain which was great

My Mum and Aunty visited for a 2 day pre-xmas treat which included a spa day and afternoon tea on which I joined them for.

I had e-mailed Gerry prior to the visit and requested a low floor room for my mum and aunty and Gerry was very quick to respond to all my queries. I had also arranged for mum and aunty to have a three course evening meal as a wee treat which they were delighted with.

Their room was lovely, clean and had all the amenities they needed for their short stay and they were very happy with the location next to the spa.

The front of house staff were lovely ladies and very kind and helpful in assisting Mum and Aunty in any way they could.

They visited the courtyard restaurant for their evening meal which they said was absolutely delicious. They also visited the Drop Inn which again they said was lovely especially the open fireplace where they could sit for a post dinner drink. Staff again were obliging.

The spa treat was excellent. The whole team in the Spa were lovely ladies and the therapists did the most amazing massages, facials etc. We were so relaxed after our treats.

We visited the thermal spas and pools which again were clean and tidy and then later were served the most delicious afternoon tea in the courtyard bar, with lots of savoury and sweet treats, the scones with jam and clotted cream were heavenly.

Again the service was excellent and we even managed to speak to the Manager Gerry who is a lovely Gentleman and a very approachable Manager who is always around.

So overall a lovely stay for my Mum and Aunt and a great Spa Day. We all intend visiting again in the not too distant future.

And once again thanks to Gerry and his team at the Last Drop for making my Mum and Aunts stay a memorable one.

Comfortable accommodation Location & price Bar didn’t have any Ginger Ale or Ginger beer mixers so my wife had to drink a shandy instead. Food was OK.

The wife and I enjoyed a one night overnight stay at the Last drop village without the kids. Have to say we really enjoyed it here. Service was excellent, staff really friendly and accommodating, room very spacious (Executive Double) and the Spa and well-being centre was fantastic.

Thanks I spent some time in the gym which was well kitted out for a hotel and the missus enjoyed a couple of spa treatments that she was really pleased with. We both enjoyed the saunas, steam room and Infinity pool which were all very relaxing.

Evening meal (sirloin and rib eye steaks) and breakfast (full English) were of a good quality.

I would certainly stay here again and would recommend it here for couples looking for a break from the kids! Perfect getaway for what we were after. Thanks Last drop!!

5 stars for value.I have been to lots of different spas in various locations. The Last Drop Village is the best for Value for Money.
I have not tried any of the treatments at the Spa so I can not comment on that ,however The Hydro Therapy pool was our favourite as it is open to outdoors, its just a shame that at the moment building work is going on outside the hotel which blocks the view whilst your in the pool..The staff are all very pleasant and the village is very charming.

Great hotel and spa. Nice little village. Breakfast was great.
The room was very cleaned and well maintained, with some coffees and teas provided.
Hair dryer, iron and safe all included in the room.
Staff were friendly and of course, the spa itself is amazing to chill out and recharge the batteries.

we got an offer on Black Friday which was £89 for an overnight stay, access to the spa, 2 course meal, bottle of wine and breakfast. We paid an additional £20 to upgrade to an executive room then on the day another £20 for the suite, so for the price it was a very good deal, however considering we upgraded twice to get the best room available, it was disappointing - run down and out dated. The ‘king size bed’ was in fact 2 singles pushed together and very uncomfortable. The spa was also run down and not as impressive as many others we have been to before by any means. The food in the evening and for breakfast was really nice and staff were great servers. We ended up having a 3 course meal and paying for the dessert but there were no prices on the menu, and when the bill came my ice cream was £7.50! It was literally 2 scoops of ice cream with a squirt of cream on top! Very over priced!
Overall, as I said for the price with everything that was included we can’t really complain too much, but for a place with such a good reputation we expected a little more from the rooms and spa. Glad we tried it and a nice night away, but wouldnt return and definitely would never pay full price.

Not happy that 3 dogs were allowed in one hotel bedroom. Walking round the hotel village there was clearly evidence that dogs were on sight. I understand that this is a pet friendly hotel but people need to clean up after their dogs.

Good location, great staff but needs a revamp Great location - amazing view Professional, courteous and personable staff - a real commendation! Smart, modern reception area; Good birdwatching - the grounds have old trees that the birds love Breakfast bacon & sausage were tasty. Very sales focused foyer, including a gallery of other large scale holiday resorts that the parent company own across the world, and 4 'fake' shopping windows that contain toys, games and accessories aimed at families. These combine to offer an experience similar to that on Ryanair - spend more more with us! Decor: The modern foyer & lobby showed up the age and dated character of older parts of the hotel, such as hallways and corridors to rooms, in the wrong way. Room: The heating was pumping through all night, resulting in one of us getting up at 3am and having to open the window to cool off. Perhaps some differentiated heating or thermostat control? The bathroom was turned into a sauna with it! Mattress was very very bouncy - maybe this works for some people but it didn't work for us because the heating was so oppressive and we sweated and sank into our very bouncy mattresses. Breakfast was comprehensive but with a number of flat, underwhelming elements: Scrambled egg had no flavour - perhaps a little salt or fresher eggs? Mushrooms - while they were fresh, they may have been cooked in a rush as they tasted like wood - also without salt. Multigrain bread - still doughy, not fully baked. MASSIVE TV DOMINATING THE WHOLE BAR AREA WITH FOOTBALL! £7.60 for a single Hendricks & Fever Tree tonic - not very good value for money.

Every year I stay at the hotel for the 3 night Christmas break package - I so enjoyed my stay. The food was excellent and the staff were so friendly. It is a great stay for a break and you can go for walks near the hotel. I heartily recommend this hotel.

We were both quite happy with our stay here, with lovely staff from checking in to bar and dining and brilliant spa facilities. The only 1 thing was that we got sent a menu prior to arrival but when it actually came to dining the menu was different from the 1 we got sent, so maybe a bit of unorganosation but despite this the meals where still nice and the overall stay very pleasant. We do hope to return in the near future. :)
